Bailey Harper looked around and she saw that she was in the middle of a beautiful flower garden. It was breathtaking and she smiled and she touch a petal of flower by her side feeling it's velvety softness. The warmth of the sun on her cheeks made her smile deepen. Joy swelled up in her and she gazed up to the sky. The sun was shinning brightly blinding, the sky a beautiful blue.
Bailey was still admiring the beauty of the sky, a bright smile on her face, when she felt herself floating in the sky. She got startled and screamed but was spun around, so she giggle hard. "Marc! Stop it!" she squealed as she giggled. She tried jumping down from his arms but they both fell, and the flowers around them broke and made a beautiful yellow and pink mat beneath them. They kept laughing as they hugged.
Bailey gazed up and saw Marcellus King's beautiful face. She raised her hand and traced the shape of his face, the curve of his eyebrows, the bridge his nose and soft cold lips. Marcel smile and playfully bit her finger and they both laughed.
They gazed into each other's eyes and got lost in each other's eyes. The feeling she felt in her heart was like nothing she ever felt before, she felt complete and happy. All that existed in her world at that moment was the man who was before her eyes. Nothing and no one else matter. She felt in her heart that she will live and die for this man.
Marcel inched closer and closer to her until their lips touched. His minty breathe invaded her senses and she deepened the kiss, she felt his warm hand sneaking inside her shirt...
Bailey bumped her head by the side of the car jolting her awake. Pain seethed through her head and all fuzzy feelings from her memory vanished.
The coldness she felt was contrary the warmed she felt in her dream. The dream felt so real she was convinced it was no dream at all. She smiled as she realized that in a space of three hours she's known her name and that she had a handsome boyfriend who she called Marc.
Thinking about how she knew her name, she thought about the lady who said she was Loretta May, who was apparently her friend. In all honesty, besides wanting to get back to the city and running away from David, her instincts also told her that she needed to run away from that so called friend as well. She gave her an uneasy feeling and she couldn't help but feel scared of her.
The car shook again over a stone or something, and something clicked in her mind! Yes! She now remembered where's seen her before. She remembered the nightmare she had three days ago. Loretta May was the same lady who was in her nightmare memory. The maliciousness and hatred she harbored in her eyes when she shoved a syringe in her hand was so real that it now made sense the fear she saw on her eyes when they first met at the hospital.
Bailey thought, so she must've been the one to hook her to drugs. Anger bubble up inside her when she remembered the way she suffered the withdrawals, and how the lady said they were best friends who grew up together. If they were really best friends, then she would make her pay for everything.
She curled herself up into a fetus position because it was getting colder, she figured they were now approaching the city.
Life, for her, was about to begin.
