Mei Yin decided to sleep early that night. She knew that she had a very important meeting the next day and she didn't want to be late. Because the meeting with her supervisor was set at 9 AM, Mei Yin decided to get up early. She woke up at 7 AM and quickly got in the shower. She wasn't working today but, because she was meeting her direct supervisor, she decided to dress business casual.
She wore black jeans, an oversized white button-down shirt, sneakers, and tied her hair into a high ponytail. It took about 30 minutes to get ready since she decided to go without makeup. She had some time left before she needed to leave so she decided to have a bowl of oatmeal. After finishing her breakfast she grabbed her work badge and car keys, put them in her purse and headed out the door.
When Mei Yin reached the airport she immediately went to see her supervisor. She was so excited about even having the possibility to test out the new uniforms. Mei Yin knocked on supervisor Chen's door at 8:55 AM. She didn't want to be late but she also didn't want to be too early. Supervisor Chen heard a knock on his door. He opened the door to find Xin Mei Yin. She looked very well put together, humbled, and mannered.
"Supervisor Chen good morning, I'm Xin Mei Yin. You wanted to see me?" "Ah yes, come in. We have a lot to discuss and go over." Supervisor Chen had been very shocked when he got a notice from the higher-ups about making one of their flight attendants into the "face of the company". "Please take a seat. I wanted to talk to you about being more involved with the company." Mei Yin couldn't understand why this man was talking in circles.
