The medium built woman stopped right beside Zi Hao and bowed respectfully to both Li Han and then Mei Yin. As Mei Yin returned her bow, Li Han introduced the women to each other. "Miss Xin, this is Ying Zhao Hui and she'll be your assistant from now on. She will help you manage your schedules. Whether you are flying or working as the ambassador, Zhao Hui will handle everything." Mei Yin looked over to Zhao Hui and she just nodded. She didn't speak unless spoken to. Mei Yin felt that the woman she was paired with might be more of a workaholic than she was. Hopefully, they would get along and could form a good sisterly bond.
"You can call me for anything at any time." Zhao Hui handed Mei Yin a card with her name and number on it. Li Han read the uncertainty on Mei Yin's face, "Zhao Hui is available to you 24 hours a day as your personal assistant. She understands what the job requires and has been in this field for a long time. You can trust her." His words instilled a promise in her heart and she decided to put her trust in him. "Why don't you let Zhao Hui take you on a tour of the building and get acquainted? You'll be spending a bit of time here in the future so it's better for you to know where you are now."
Mei Yin nodded and stood to follow Zhao Hui out of Li Han's office. Once Mei Yin closed Li Han's door she crashed into a mean force. "What are you doing coming from out of there?" The face of the voice was quite pretty however the voice attached to it was almost impossible to listen to without flinching. "Who are you?" Mei Yin didn't know if she should disclose anything without Li Han knowing about it so she looked to Zhao Hui for help.
Zhao Hui however was resolute and unwavering. She calmly placed her hand on Mei Yin's back and escorted her on a tour of the building without even acknowledging the yipping dog in front of them. "Hey, don't you hear me talking to you?!" She raised her voice high enough to get attention...just from the wrong person. Mei Yin and Zhao Hui had turned the corner when Zi Hao left Li Han's office and stood directly in front of her. "Hong Xia Mie! What are you doing standing in front of the CEO's office? Are you so good at your job that you have nothing to do? Or are you not paid enough to do the job that you are supposed to do?"
"P.A. Zi Hao you've misunderstood me. There was this strange woman with assistant Ying walking around-" Zi hao cut her off. "No, you have misunderstood. whoever walks around with whom is none of your concern. You are not being paid to do detective work, however, if you would like to follow your calling in that field, the human resources department is always ready to process your resignation letter, Miss Hong." With that, Zi Hao left her standing where she was and made his way back to his station. He couldn't afford news getting out before everything was 100 percent ready. It would be his well being on the line.
It had been some time since Mei Yin's encounter with that woman and she couldn't get rid of her curiosity. Before she could ask anything, almost as if she had read her mind, Zhao Hui spoke up. "If you're curious about that woman just now I won't stop you from asking. 'Okay, so she knows what I'm thinking and she's open to questions. This is a good start.' "Who is she and why is she so nosy?" A very short and direct question. Mei Yin didn't notice it, but Zhao Hui had a twinkle of warmth in her eye that was only visible for a second before rehardening. "That was Hong Xia Mie, a junior secretary from the secretary department. She's been in that position for 3 years without a promotion. She believes that CEO Han belongs to her and pounces at anything that she deems worthy as a threat. Basically, you have nothing to worry about. She's no one."
Mei Yin nodded her head in agreement. "Why hasn't the CEO done anything to stop her if she's really no one? Does he simply not care?" Zhao Hui liked her deduction. "Precisely so. He doesn't consider her worth it, but once he makes his decisions no one can stop him." Mei Yin simply took her words with a grain of salt. From that point on, Zhao Hui started to like Mei Yin. Something in Zhao Hui knew that Mei Yin would be sticking around.
