After a tour of the Li Group building, Zhao Hui brought Mei Yin to a conference room. Mei Yin was handed a clearance badge allowing her entrance into the building, and a packet briefing of her upcoming scheduled activities for the next three days. She was sure to be busier than usual and made a mental note to get as much sleep as she possibly could to avoid any hardships. "This is your schedule for the next three days. First, you have a salon and spa appointment at 7 am tomorrow morning. I'll be picking you up at 6:30 am so please don't be late and come barefaced." Mei Yin just quietly nodded. She would need to get up a 4:30 am if she wanted to have a proper and filling breakfast.
"I'll take care of your breakfast and essentials so please get as much sleep as you can. At 10 am you have your first test shoot. This is to get you acclimated with the camera, angles, and modeling in general. The company has already designated a coach for you and they will walk you through everything to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. After your test shoot, I took the liberty of allotting you 2 hours in between for lunch and this time shall also serve as your downtime to handle any other business as long as it does not interfere with your schedule." Wow, Zhao Hui thought of everything. All Mei Yin needed to do was show up.
"After your test shoot, there will be a press conference in your honor that you have to attend. Possible questions that you may be asked have already been printed out for you on page 3 of your handout. All you have to do is look those over tonight and you should be fine. There is a possibility that you could be asked something not printed on that page so please think outside the box and if you get stuck, I'll be there to help."
"I understand. I'll look through the questions, but how do I know which questions should and should not be answered?" Mei Yin had never done this sort of thing before so she wanted to take the route that wouldn't leave her with bruises. "You'll know when you hear them. They are very definitive." Zhao Hui finished telling Mei Yin about her other activities and was showing her out of the conference room when Mei Yin bumped into someone.
"Ugh! It's you again? Get out of my way, I have to escort Miss Song Yu Xie up to the CEO's office." It was none other than Hong Xia Mie. Who else would be so dramatic? Mei Yin had more important things to worry about at the moment so she did what she has always done best, She ignored Hong Xia Mie, gave Ying Zhao Hui a respectful bow, and went home unbothered.
Neither Song Yu Xie nor Hong Xia Mie saw Zhao Hui. They were too engrossed in their own hatred to notice her. This was the second time today that Hong Xia Mie didn't acknowledge Zhao Hui and she was keeping track. If they saw her they would have surely shown her respect. Before being assigned to Mei Yin, Zhao Hui was a well-respected manager of several A-list celebrities. She and Li Han were close friends and she was simply doing him a favor. Zhao Hui knew what kind of people they were and simply walked away. It was always better to ignore those kinds of people. If not, you cannot blame another for your poor health.
In the elevator on their way up to the CEO's floor, Song Yu Xie showed her true colors to an equally spotted chameleon. "Who the hell is that b*tch that didn't greet me just now?" Hong Xia Mie knew exactly who she was talking about. "I don't know her name but she's only been here twice and has already started acting like she owns the place. She even walks around the entire building with no clearance. I don't know what Li Han is thinking." Xia Mie rolled her eyes. "I want you to figure out just who the hell she is and report back to me."
This woman Xia Mie was too bold. How could she even think of calling Li Han by his name? There's definitely a fire brewing, and she's going to get burned. The elevator reached and they both exited, headed in the direction of Li Han's office.
Zi Hao was standing in the middle of the hallway waiting for Song Yu Xie's arrival. "Miss Song, please come this way. Hong Xia Mie, you can return to your work." Hong Xia Mie sucked in a breath stomping away as Zi Hao knocked on Li Han's door. With permission to enter, Zi Hao opened the door and started to introduce Song Yu Xie, but before he could even get a syllable out, she barged through the door and forced her presence down the two men's throats. "CEO Li, my name is Song Yu Xie. I came as soon as I got word from my manager." What was she so happy for? Didn't she know she was about to get turned down? Maybe her manager left that part out. Or maybe she didn't listen very well.
Zi Hao sent out a direct SOS message to Li Han and thank the heavens and ancestors he heard his cry and sent him out. After Zi Hao left, Li Han offered Song Yu Xie a seat and sat at the head of the coffee table. The same seat that he refused to sit on whenever he met Mei Yin. Of course, these two women could not be compared. One was as graceful as a dove and the other...well, she was a rat dressed in sheep fur. "CEO Li I heard that you would like to work together alongside me for your company's next project. I would be honored to work with you and I emptied my schedule enough to squeeze you in. Where is the contract? I need to look it over and sign it."
