Lucas at plopped down on his ass exhausted. "He was not really weak, but I had to say it to sound cool," thought Lucas, "I'll rest here for a minute and then meet up with Quint and Shay. Step one of the plan is completed!" Lucas laid down on his back and shut his eyes.
Raju was a lime-green, humanoid demon. He was slender and considered handsome and dressed in a kimono. Raju ran around the dark space leaving afterimages behind. "Let's see if you can keep up with keep up with this," said Raju while running. Shay stood there searching for Raju's real body, her eyes scanning the whole room. Raju attempted to punch Shay, but she dodged it by ducking. Raju then kicked her in the face and began running around the room again. "How did she dodge me? Can she keep up with me? No, that's impossible because I landed that second strike," thought Raju while running around the room once again. Shay attempted to follow him again, but her eyes couldn't keep up. Shay closed her eyes and tried to keep up with Raju by listening to his footsteps and the movements in the air. Shay began thinking about one of the lessons that her mother taught her.
Mary and Shay are in the Dojo training. Shay is blindfolded, bloodied. It was apparent that she had already taken plenty of blows. "Are you sure that you want to continue with this lesson?" sake Mary as she silently ran around Shay. "I'm sure," replied Shay with frustration oozing out of her. Mary struck Shay again, causing her to slam onto the floor. Shay punched the floor, feeling fed up about getting hit again. "Come on Shay! It is ok to try this tomorrow. Quite frankly, I'm getting tired of knocking you around," said Mary casually, "Your brother and Lucas got this fairly quickly. Even geniuses like you have a bad day." Tears rolled down Shay's eyes. Blood dripping down her face and body into a puddle. "And now you're crying! You're the last one I expected to sob like a baby because you've hit a hurdle. I know I raised you better than that!" shouted Mary.
Raju took another swing at Shay, this time she blocked his punch and looked him dead in the eyes. "That look! I don't like it!" said Raju. "This will be the last face you see!" said Shay as she attempted to strike back, but Raju easily dodged her. "You think that you can touch me? You're too pathetic! How could I even have considered making you my wife?!" shouted Raju. Raju them jumped away from her and launched a green energy blast at her. Shay turned around and fired a blue, watery energy blast. The two attacks clashed and exploded. The room is filled with a thick mist. "How perfect! I can hide even better!" thought Raju. Raju ran back into the shadows. "So far, I can only get her on my second attack. So, I'll attack her again and hit her with a defining blow on my second strike," thought Raju.
Shay stood back up and wiped the blood and tears from her face and said "Proceed." Mary silently ran around the room. Shay concentrates and can now hear Mary's footsteps. "That's it!" said Shay with her head following Mary around. Mary picked up speed and appeared behind Shay. Mary punched Shay in the face again! Shay had attempted to dodge, but Mary was too fast. "Good job, but now that I've picked up speed, what are you going to do?" asked Mary. "I don't know," said Shay. "Well figure it out then," replied Mary as she circled Shay.
"Alright, the stage is set for me to beat this demon," thought Shay while smiling and holding her head down. Her body started to tremble. "Don't tell me that I got you shaking now girl! So you finally understand how much of a difference in power I have over you! You finally fear me and now I can take your soul with ease!" shouted Raju. Raju went in for the kill, attempting to punch Shay with all of his might. Shay instantly turned around and grabbed Raju by the neck. It was if she knew exactly where he would be. "H..How did you know?" asked Raju while struggling to breathe. "It was easy. I had two things going for me. First, I surrounded my body with spirit energy, but only just enough so that you wouldn't detect it by also enough for me to react to you touching it," explained Shay. "But still, how were you fast enough to grab me?!" asked Raju. "That brings me to part two. The mist! The water vapors moved in the direction you were moving in and I could hear it. Once I put all of this together, I could predict exactly where you were. And another thing, I am quite tuned in with water," explained Shay. "That's why she used that attack! She's been setting me up since the beginning!" thought Raju as his expression changed to a look of horror. Shay squeezed his neck even harder. "I....I ca..ca.. can't breathe," said Raju. Raju began grabbing for Shay's wrist. She slammed him into the ground. "I guess being fast is all that you can do. Now allow me to show you what I can do!" said Shay. Raju stood back up and tried to speak, but couldn't. Shay had crushed his larynx. "Torrent Stream!" said Shay. Shay began absorbing the water vapors in the air and concentrated them into a ball. Then she fired a concentrated stream of water at Raju. Raju was hit in the shoulder by the pressurized water. The attack went right through him. Raju hit the ground, holding onto his shoulder and writhing in pain. Shay approached Raju slowly and said "You were talking so much shit. I'd like to hear you talk shit now. Oh, you can't speak, can you? You see, I can be very ruthless and I finally figure out how I want you to die." Shay raised her hand and collected the remaining water vapors from the mist and form a giant ball of water. "I was going to rip your head off, but that'll be too quick. I want you to suffer," said Shay. Shay then manipulated the water and motioned for it to go into Raju's mouth. The water started filling Raju's mouth and then his stomach, but more and more water kept coming. In less than a minute, Raju had drowned. Shay then lopped off his head. "That took more energy than expected," said Shay as she hit the ground.
