The first two battles had resolved with Lucas and Shay as the winners. Lucas and Shay have finally rested enough and started heading to where Quint is.
Quint entered a well-lit space with Jim and the blood-red orb standing in the middle. As Quint slowly walked towards Jin, Jin raised his head and said "So, you all come to my tower and disturb me? Not only did you do that, you also killed my comrades! You humans are so disrespectful!" Jin noticed that he was losing his composure and then regained it. "No matter, I'll dispose of you all and get back to what I was doing," said Jim calmly.
"What are you doing? Why are you taking the souls and devouring them? What did they do to deserve this treatment? I can tell that you don't do it for nourishment, if so, then you wouldn't need all of these souls. Release the souls now or I will kill you!" demanded Quint.
"Power. I do it for power. With each soul I consume, I become that much stronger and closer to my goal," announced Jin as he walked over to Quint, "Something that you wouldn't understand. I once stood on the King's Court, I was treated like royalty, until that demon hunter came!" Jin then pictured the demon hunter that struck him down years ago. She wore a yellow, full bodysuit with a black streak going down the middle.
Quint shifted to his fighting stance, "You won't stop then. I guess this fight can't be avoided," said Quint as he raised his power level. "Show me your power so I can know how much of a power boost I will get from you," replied Jin and raised his power level also.
Jin and Quint circle each other, examining their bodies, looking for an opening. "He looks relaxed, but his guard is tight. This is different from last time, could he had changed this much in 24 hours?" thought Quint as he began to sweat fully understanding his predicament. "Did you think this would be easy? Last time, your friends distracted me, that's how you were able to get to me. Now, you have no help!" stated Jin. "I don't need it, I can handle you on my own," replied Quint. His arms became wrapped in flames. Quint flickered behind Jin and went for a kick. Jin evaded the kick and retaliated with a sharp elbow. Quint saw the attack coming and blocked it. Jin leaped forward to get space between them. "You have some skill, but you are nothing like Yellow Lightning," said Jin while jumping into the air. Quint pursued, but then Jin opened up his mouth and a cloud of black smoke spewed out. The smoke slowed Quint down and caused him to hit the ground. Jin put his hands together and gathered energy between them. With a look of disgust, Jin said "You fell for that trick! You amateur! I'm done with this!" Jin released a huge energy wave at Quint. The attack was white and wrapped in smoke.
Lucas stood back up and thought "I can feel Quint's power swelling. He must be getting ready for a big attack!" Lucas raced off to meet Quint.
Shay is on her way to Quint, running as fast as she can. "Why is he powering up like this so soon? That isn't apart of the plan! He must be in trouble," thought Shay.
Jin's attack exploded when it made contact. The resulting explosion made the tower shake to its very core! "Now to get the other two," thought Jin. Quint came up behind Jin and shouted "Hakugun!" A fiery energy blast bigger than Jin's last attach was fired from Quint's hand. Jin quickly spun and tried to block the attack, but it was too overwhelming. Jin went crashing to the ground while still enveloped in the blast. Quint landed on the floor and slowly approached and said "It took everything I had to finish you off." Jin laid there, flesh scorched all over. He began to cry, knowing that his dream is slipping away. "You're crying now? What a bitch!" thought Quint as he inched closer to Jin. Jin reached out for the orb. Due to the last attack, the orb had rolled in front of Jin. "Shit! There's the orb! I got to get it before he does!" thought Quint. Jin struggled to get to the orb. He started thinking about the day he was kicked out of the King's Court.
Jin was on patrol one night, everything seemed normal. One of his warriors approached him with a report, "Sir, the North East sectors are secure." Jin crossed his arms in front of his chest and said "Thanks for the report. Continue your patrol!" The warrior stupid at attention and did "Yes sir!" and walked away. " I hope something happens around here soon. I needed more accolades so that I can become a General!" thought Jin. He then noticed that a few demon energies had disappeared. "What's going on?! I feel a strong spiritual energy headed this way! How could a human be here?! They can't survive out here," though Jin. Then a blast of lightning was fired at him, but he blocked the attack with his spear. "You blocked it, you must have some power! Let's have some fun!" said the human with a smile.
The human rushed at Jin so fast that her body was covered in electricity. Jin sidestepped her and ordered his warriors to attack her. In two seconds, she ran around the warriors and faced Jin again. Jin stared at her while trembling at the power she displayed. He saw every move she made. She used her hands to slice her opponents up in pieces. Jin's warriors all collapsed into chunks of meat. "I hope you caught all of that," said the woman. Jin looked the woman in the eyes and knew he was outclassed. "Soooo.... You make the first move," taunted the woman. Jin looked afraid and ran away. The woman managed to enter the castle and disturb the Demon King. For this Jin was branded a coward and stripped of his power. His shame caused him to leave the Demon world.
Jin's eyes got so watery that his vision became blurry as he grasped the blood-red orb. Quint halted in his steps and jumped backward to create space. Jin swallowed the orb whole!
