Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep.
Jason's eyes shoot open at the sound of his alarm while it shakes the whole house. Before the alarm can repeat itself Jason smacks it, turning it off for the day. Still half asleep he raises to his feet and begins to gather his work clothes, turn on the coffee pot and get dressed for work.
"4:30 comes to early, I feel like I never get enough sleep." Jason says to himself before throwing his head under some ice water to get his body moving.
Within moments Jason is out the door running, normally he was never this excited to go to work, but today was a special case, today was the first day he was getting to work along side his father in a couple months.
The clock strikes 7:00Am and the job site finally starts to get lively, Albert who is Jason's father and boss for this job, has tasked Him , Kasey, and Johnathan with painting some missed spots along the trusses of the Chester bridge.
Kasey is an average size fellow with short black hair, he stands 5 foot 8 inches tall. Kasey is also the newest member of the crew and has only been around for a few months.
Johnathan is a stocky built man with mid length dirty blonde hair and beard. Although he is the oldest of the group of three, him and Jason have the same amount of experience in the field. Johnathan and Kasey are about the same height if not an inch apart.
Jason is the tallest of the group as he is 6' 3" tall, with an average build, he has mid length dark black hair with brown eyes. Jason is always told he looks like a taller version oh his father, except he still has a full head of hair.
All three men grab their buckets of paint and a brush before walking to the sidewalk. For most the day everything was going well, Jason was hooked off to the bridge with his harness while trying to keep an eye on Kasey and Johnathan.
"Why don't the two of you head down for lunch, I have a spot to paint on top of the bridge and I will be down." Jason yells to the two workers as he starts climbing towards the top.
Once at the very top of the bridge Jason looks down to see Johnathan and Kasey standing on the sidewalk with their lunchboxes. Quickly Jason hits the two spots as fast as he can so he could go down and grab lunch, he was starving but didn't want to climb all the way back up for a small job.
As Jason stood up he felt a strong breeze before getting pushed over by a strong force slamming into him, this force wasn't a strong wind or anything that he had ever felt before. As the force washed over him it felt like he got hit in the gut but he felt no pain, infact his body felt numb, almost as if changes were happening inside him that were beyond his comprehension.
The last thing Jason remembers seeing was his bucket of paint splashing Johnathan, Kasey and Albert. The very next thing he felt was a steel beam making contact with his forehead as he passed out.
Two hours passed before Jason finally woke up. slowly he was able to make it to his feet and rub his head.
"How did I get down here?" Jason asks the three guys standing around him. "The last thing I remember was hitting my head while I was hooked off up top."
Albert explained to him that after he fell, his harness is the only thing that saved his life. The fire department was called to extract him from up above, but when they checked his pulse and made sure he didn't have a broken back or neck, the fire fighters ended up telling Albert to let Jason sleep it off.
"That was some of the craziest stuff I had ever seen man, I felt my whole body go numb when I saw you fall." Johnathan shouts as he is shaking to the point that he is vibrating across the ground.
"Actually, now that you mention it I don't feel any pain at all. In fact I still feel numb, almost as if it had never happened." Jason thinks to himself. "Also what was that force that knocked me over, I know it wasn't the wind."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After another two hours it was almost time to head home for the day, Jason had spent these last few hours getting everything ready for tomorrow, since he was told not to climb around for the rest of the day.
Screech.... Crash...
Jason looks up from the pile of rebar he just placed on the ground to see several cars had wrecked into each other, up ahead of the cars was a large wild pig that had run into the middle of the road and caused the disturbance.
The frightened pig runs into the dead lane where Jason is working and starts charging at him. Albert steps out of his work truck, unholstering his .45 Colt, but something happens as soon as he pulls the trigger.
"Albert there is an error, level is not high enough, please equip a weapon suitable for your level." says a computerized voice that seems to be coming from the sky.
The hog is around 300 feet away and charging fast. Jason looks down at the cut rebar and grabs a piece that looks relatively sharp, then with a rush of adrenaline he charges towards the wild pig.
Jason is much slower than the pig and has traveled about 120 feet before he is within striking distance. Jason swings the rebar with both hands, landing the first hit dead center of the pigs head. There is so much recoil that travels through Jason's arms with a slight pain, but what do you expect from bashing a charging pig in the head.
At the same moment a small health bar pops up above the pigs head, while a second bar shows itself in the top left of Jason's vision. the pigs health drops by almost a quarter.
Jason glances at his health 90/100
"Well that isn't to bad, looks like I did more damage than I took." Jason smiles as he swings the rebar again, this time he hits the pig in the back. The pig squeals and takes a big bite into Jason's leg, causing him to fall on his back.
"You motherfucker, that actually really hurts." Jason yells in pain and stabs the pig, skewering it through the throat. After a few seconds of struggling the pig dies, it's body vanishes causing a screen to pop up in front of Jason.
