After Jason's hunt that night he was returning home when he hears someone calling his name.
"Jason." It is Katelyn and she is running towards him, with her father, Chad not to far behind.
Katelyn is a young, thin girl with brown hair and blonde highlights, she also has deep ocean blue eyes and a friendly personality.
Chad is an overweight man with short light grey hair, his attitude reflects his appearance. His intellect is on the low side but still acts like he knows it all.
Katelyn throws her arms around Jason while smiling. "Well I'm glad to see someone is in a good mood today." Jason says
"Why wouldn't I be, I passed my finals today. but then there was that weird message and I wanted to pick your brain about it." Katelyn informs Jason as she lets go of him.
"Well it seemed pretty straight forward to me, the world is changing but I have no idea why." Jason shrugs his shoulders. "Right now I'm just going with the flow and treating it like some new game that no one told us about, but who knows what will happen if we lose." he lies, trying not to scare Katelyn too much.
"That makes sense, but normally you have to buy a game, so why would they send it to everyone for free?" Katelyn asks confused, it's a good thing she believes almost anything Jason tells her.
About this time Chad finally catches up and heard the last thing Jason told Katelyn so of course he has to put his two sense in. "I bet this is just some way to get people to get in shape by thinking a monster is chasing them, or getting idiots to fight them."
"Who knows." Jason says trying not to sound to disgusted, but to him, Chad's voice sounds worse than nails on a chalkboard.
About that time a large level 4 black snake makes its way out of the sewer behind Katelyn and Chad. The snake coils up and looks ready to strike, saliva dripping from its mouth and the hungry look in its eyes make it look more dangerous.
"Watch out behind you." Jason yells as he opens his inventory menu to equip his sword. The snake starts to lunge at the group, Chad grabs ahold of Katelyn and throws her to the ground while trying to run the other way.
The fangs are centimeters from Katelyn's body when a metallic sound is heard.
"Ting."
Jason used his sword to block the attack, making the snake coil back up. With a second swing of his sword, Jason grazes the snakes side, unfortunately it didn't do much damage and only seemed to piss the snake off.
The giant snake isn't looking at Jason, but at Katelyn, who is still scared and in shock and hasn't moved. It sticks out its tongue, tasting the fear in the air, before looking back at Jason and sensing the rage he is feeling. The creature lunges at Jason this time and sinks its fangs deep into his neck.

Jason was surprised to hear the notification go off in his head but he quickly answered "12."

In less than a millisecond Jason learned how to use both skills as if he had always known them. But in that short amount of time the snake started to wrap itself around Jason's left arm. "Rage slash!" Jason calls out, his sword gains a faint red glow and the intent to destroy anything it cuts, with ease the sword cuts off the bottom two-thirds of the snake.
The top part of the snake isn't letting go without a fight and still has a death grip on Jason's neck, by now both Jason and the snakes health bars are down to one third, but a second bar appears below Jason's health, MP.

"That's right I have the second skill." Jason thinks while activating the skill. "Lightning Stream!" After calling the name of his attack Jason feels his heartbeat quicken as electrical current spreads through his entire body, the lighting crackles as it left his body through Jason's fingers.
Quickly the lighting creates a protective field around Jason's body while simultaneously electrocuting the snake, forcing it to loosen it's Jaws as it falls onto the ground burnt to a crisp.

After the rush of adrenaline dies down enough for Jason to think straight he looks at Katelyn and asks "Are you hurt?" Katelyn is still shaking in fear but slowly she replies "No I think I'm ok, just scared."
"That's all that matters." Jason says while walking past Katelyn, his eyes are filled with rage as they lock onto Chad who tripped and fell after pushing Katelyn. "Your not hurt are you." Anger rolls off Jason's tongue as he speaks these last words.
"No I'm fine, thanks for saving me…I mean u-us." Chad tries to correct himself at the last second. "I was only saving Katelyn, not your sorry excuse of a Father. What kind of man tries to sacrifice his daughter in order to save himself!? your pathetic!" The tip of the sword in Jason's hand is scraping across the ground when suddenly spirals of flames engulf the blade, Jason points the flaming sword at Chad. "Get on your knees and beg for your life." Jason commands.
"Why the fuck would I do that? I know I messed up, everyone does at some point." Chad argues.
After seeing Chad rebel, Jason goes berserk. "If you won't do as I say willingly, then I will force you. Lightning stream!" Jason roars as lightning crackles off his fingertips, slithering its way across the ground like a snake hunting its prey. With the speed of a striking cobra the lighting attacks all of Chad's calf muscles, causing him to drop to his knees.
"Looks like you finally listened but it's too late." Bloodlust can be heard in Jason's words, as he raises the flaming sword above his head, the flames intensifying with his anger. Finally with one swift motion the sword cuts through Chad, burning everything until not even ashes are left.

After sheathing his sword Jason turns to look at Katelyn, who surprisingly is not scared or even mad at him. "Finally I am free from that asshole, I have wanted to get away for so many years since my mom passed away, but I was never able to." Katelyn says with a sigh of relief. Jason looks back where Chad used to be. "So am I." He says while coughing up a mouthful of blood. Jason quickly checks his status as he starts feeling light headed and hot.

As Jason falls to his knees Katelyn comes running up to him. "What's wrong? How can I help? Should I call an ambulance? " Without letting Jason get a word out she starts asking questions in a panic.
"Help me get to the blue store over there, they should be able to help." Jason struggles for air while pointing to the new store that is two blocks away. Quickly Katelyn helps Jason to his feet and the two of them walk to the nearby shop.
Ding… Ding…
"Hello and welcome to our store." Alexis calls from the back of the shop while finishing the last of her cleaning. "Help me and please hurry!" Katelyn yelled in a panic as more blood pours out of Jason's body, by now most of the color had drained from his body.
Alexis runs to the front of the store to witness the miserable shape Jason is in. "What happened to him? There shouldn't be any high level monsters around yet."
Katelyn explains what happened just several minutes ago, she also hands over the vial of venom Jason gave her. "He told me to give this to you, Jason seems to thing you know what to do with this." Katelyn's voice is shaky and full of concern
"It's a good thing you brought him here, I should be able to to get him stable and make an Anti-Venom relatively quick." Alexis says trying to calm Katelyn down. She them walks over to an intercom, presses the red button and speaks into it. "Adelram please come to the first floor, again Adelram your assistance is needed on the first floor now!"
Not even two minutes later a large figure bolts down the stairs, through the doorway before screeching to a halt. "You called?" Adelram questions, wheezing for breath. Alexis points at Jason and immediately Adelram knows what is going on so he slings Jason over his shoulder like a ragdoll and charges up the stairs all the way to the fourth floor.
