"Has it already been 48 hours?"
We did agree to say yes to Ahim but we weren't sure if we were capable of fulfilling our duty as Ahim used to do. I had a terrible nightmare in which I was left alone dying on a cold rainy night. It was terrifying to realise how people who carry warmth in their words fail to put even a little bit of it into their actions. I did not wanna be such kind of a hypocrite. Although I was not aware of a purpose, I wanted to find one as I get used to whatever was happening in my life. Isn't life about imperfections and uncertainty? So when I met Sita at her home, I told her that we should go with Ahim.
We met in the same park after forty-eight hours, we made sure we were not in a crowded area. Sita asked me to give her my hands. She held them and closed her eyes tight. Looking at her closing eyes, I did the same and waited for us to land on the Mystic Throne. The grip of her hands had become tighter but we did not seem to teleport. "Mmmmmmm…", I heard her trying so hard.
"Did he find someone else already?"
Sita let go of my hands and I should accept, I felt relieved hearing Sita's comment. Didn't the kid do something to our backs? "Wait! Turn around."
I placed my left palm on her back where the kid had placed a mark and asked her to touch the mark on my back too.
"Now!"
"To the Mystic Throne!"
'Paradise', would this word define the destination? We were on a cliff, it was all green everywhere. Anyone could say it was the personification of life. The falls beside the cliff was a cherry on the top of the cake. Where did this girl has brought me to? It was not the Mystic Throne we saw the previous time. "Did you wish for an exotic vacation plan?"
Sita was excited to be in that place. Of course, who wouldn't love to just present in such scenery? Moreover, you get to go there cost-free. But I knew that we definitely had landed at the right destination. The picturesque destination and the unique fragrance of the flowers and the calm atmosphere, that place had to be the Mystic Throne.
"Ajopavana.", there he was, "we call this place 'Ajopavana'"
"It is marvellous!"
Ahim was all smiles, but he came straight to the point. Was it because he couldn't see how gorgeous the was? He cut our amusements and asked us if we were ready to respond to his offer. Sita nudged me from behind and rolled her eyes signalling me to say.
"I am grateful. You must have thought about it a lot. Let me say, there is more about this work. You shall not act in negligence, else you might cost the lives of people. Remember… Always be cautious.", Ahim as expected had read our minds, maybe I should say he heard our thoughts. Whatever!
He led us to somewhere, it was the palace-like Throne we saw the other day. The kids did not appear, I wondered where they were. Ahim said that the kids need more rest, so they had to sleep extra hours, while Ahim never takes rest. Instead, when kids meet him, they pass on some energy to him every time. It was supposedly not Ahim extracting their energy but the very purpose of the kids was to provide energy to the holder of the Throne since his position demands the restless performance of his duties.
"I won't ask your reasons to join me."
"Then what do you want us to do?", Sita asked him
"Because you are young and wild, righteous and hot-blooded, I want you to be motivated and accomplish some tasks on my behalf."
