Chapter 19 - Chapter 18 Enchanted palace

Kishi and the others arrived in Magic High to submit their reports to the dean, Amy. They went into the Tower of wings, to the large heavy oak doors.

The boys didn't bother to knock and just barged in. Kishi just sighed and followed them in. Amy just woke up when they arrived, she rubbed her eyes and wiped her messy hair off her face. She blinked twice and looked at them

"Oh, you've arrived..." She said in a tired voice

Rex grinned broadly "Rise and shine old hag! We finally came home"

Irritated, she eyed him "I bet Sychi had already told you what to do...so--"

"I don't get it. How would all our wishes be fulfilled just by spending a whole night together? It just doesn't make any sense" Airi questioned her

"You'll see...now scram. I have a lot of things to do"

"Like sleeping your day off?" Rex said sarcastically, and Airi and Lune chuckling lightly

Amy just sighed. The boys left soon after. There are only a few students wandering around in the school. It was already lunchtime, so the boys dropped by the cafeteria for a bite.

It was very big, and is decorated elegantly with beautiful light crystals, and gold and orange maple leaves connected with golden strings, attached on the wall and to the celling. A giant chandelier made with transparent light crystals, shining gold was hanging exactly at the center of the circular space, and smaller chandeliers placed around it.

The walls are made out of glass and the view outside of it was filled with the autumn ambiance of maple and cherry trees. The floor was made with white marble. Red carpets were laid at every direction to each table.

There are sixteen circular tables big enough for twenty people, laid across the room, a large circular glass table for thirty or more students at the center, and a long table for the teachers and staff, placed at the opposite of the entrance, which is also very big.

The boys waked in and sat at the large table at the center. A spirit that looked like a cat flew towards them and sat majestically on their table.

"I want some pudding" Rex said immediately

"For lunch?" Airi asked him

"Why not? I'll take some ice-cream" Kishi waved at the spirit

"Talk about unhealthy" Airi rolled his eyes "for me would be salad Nyan..."

Lune giggled "I think I'll have the same N-Nyaa...'"

"You know, you don't have to call her name if you don't want to, right?"

"s-sorry"

The cat floated again and flew in circles like it's catching her tail. The spirit started to glow and sparkled, then food appeared in front of them and the cat quickly disappeared.

The boys began to eat and started chatting.

"It sure feels lonely here during the weekends" Rex looked at other tables. Most of it was empty and the others was occupied with one or two students. It was also very quiet, and the gigantic size of the room worsened it as their voices echoed across the place.

"What do you expect? Everyone goes home during these kind of days" Airi proclaimed

There was silence for a moment. Sychi appeared in front of them, but no other students seem to notice

"Have you figured out yet?"

"Yup! We certainly did!" Rex replied at once

"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Kishi spoken exhaustedly while putting a spoonful of ice-cream to his mouth

"It's because were all staying at your place"

"WHAT?!" he shouted and stood up looking at Rex. Everyone in the room looked at him for a moment.

Sychi only smiled at his reaction "Very well, if that it your last decision, you are always welcome at our home"

"Does my opinion not matter to any of you?!" Kishi tried to argue, but Sychi already disappeared out of sight

"To Enchanted palace it is then" Rex stood to take his leave, being followed by Lune and soon Airi

Kishi was speechless and just remained in his position. Airi placed his hand on Kishi's shoulder and consoled him

"Don't worry bro, it'll be fun. Or...at least I hope it will..."

The breeze was really cold when they reached the Enchanted territory. They used teleportation crystals in means of transportation. Their eyes wandered around as they arrived

"This is...Enchanted forest!" Airi named the familiar place

"Yes, were at the heart of it" Kishi said

Rex was shocked, "Wait! So your saying, the forest is a part of their territory?!"

"Er-yeah, of course it will be. Why would the forest be named after it if it weren't, dummy?" Lune told Rex. He looked around and asked, "but...shouldn't us be at its border right now?"

"If you start there, there is absolutely no way you could get to the palace, not even a single access. That route is undefined, no one has ever reached this place before, only the school has access to it, or...at least that's what I'm told"

Kishi started to walk, being followed by the others. After a minute of walk, what confronted them was a gigantic gate. It was made out of crystals, and golden like vines are entangled all over it. It was extremely beautiful; flowers of all kinds are laid under it. It was shining gorgeously.

Rex, Lune, and Airi was dumbfounded. They had seen nothing like this before. Kishi walked towards it and touched it. The gate vanished and turned to something like a blueish-gold dome of water.

Kishi began to recite a command, "I, Kishi of Enchancia, hereby command you to open this gate at once"

The dome glowed instantly and disappeared. Behind was still thick trees, but unlike the forest before, it was bright and sunny. It has great feeling of magic, and a beautiful flowery path across the trees.

Kishi started to walk through it, the others were still shocked, looked at each other and followed.

"Kishi...that--" Airi tried to speak

"Pure magic" Kishi answered

The Sacred territory surely is overwhelming. An object made out of pure magic is considered as an ultra-rare relic. Making one is near impossible, and can even cause death, even a tiny particle cost the same. Yet there it is, an over-sized gate, and the palace walls, surrounding the whole place, which is also undoubtedly big, was made with nothing more but magic. How good is that? Huh?
