Without any more words, Kira quickly undressed, while the boys began to turn pink and frozen. Kira was about to jump in, when Kishi warned her
"Kira, you know you're not supposed to soak your--" But before Kishi could even finish, waters splashed all over, and Kira so are the others are completely wet.
"--hair..." he continued sulky "What about not wetting your hair!?" He scolded her as she swam around the big bath
"Oh, Nisan!" She quickly complained "It'll be fixed later! And besides, it's been quite a long time! Let me have fun for a little!" She argued forcefully
"Their personalities change so fast, huh? Isn't it?" Rex whispered to Lune who only nodded
Kishi eyed him, but he stared back at him, declaring a silent war. Their voiceless argument was immediately put out by another big slash that Kira had thrown at them. Soon, their fight had turned into a great water fight as they splashed hard on each other with no exception, that even Lune and Airi had joined in.
Kira had put out all their flames and the only one who remained standing. They went out of the water forgetting what they were all so embarrassed about earlier. And they dressed themselves elegantly as the fairies helped them get dressed.
Kira wore an elegant gown. It was flamingo-pink in color, with a large pearl-white ribbon on her waist, a little left from the back. It was also very frilly and had a bunch of thick layers and bows, even on her long-sleeve, was full of frills . She had a sapphire in the center of the ribbon tied in her collar. Her hair was dressed nicely, and was probably the one that took most of the time to fix, since they had to brush it over and over, with extra Silky hair potion.
The boys didn't dress simple like they usually do in school. They wore linen shirt with frills, a suit over it, and a jabot. Kishi's chosen color was arctic-blue and also a sapphire clipped over his jabot styled necktie. Rex chose dandelion-yellow and amber. Lune chose emerald-green and jade. And Airi chose scarlet and ruby.
"Bells?..." Airi asked looking at the small looking like jingle bells all over her gown, and at the tips of her hair
Kira turned pink "That's...tradition..." Kishi explained
"What kind of tradition?" asked Rex
"Well you know..." Kishi took a bell from his pocket. He opened his mouth to speak but Sychi answered before him
"those are sacred bells, additional etiquette--"
"These are mostly for girls though" Kishi added
"Oh, yes, it is" she said forcefully "now hurry up or you'll be late"
The dining hall as expected, was really large. A long table was at the center, with silk table cloth, and over it was silver wares. Giant chandeliers of light crystals were hanging in the ceiling, and bouquets of gorgeous flowers are all over the room.
They sat in the long table. Rex looked very nervous, and concerned with what he looked like, and kept fidgeting every now and then. Airi felt the same, though not as worse as Rex is.
"Urgh!...why do we have to dress all fancy anyway?!" Rex finally gave up
"Etiquettes" replied Lune
"Shouldn't you know that? I mean you're from SS-class families. And they most probably have thought you that by now" Kishi glowered at him
"Er....run away from it" Rex avoided his gaze grinning weirdly
Airi raised his hand, and said confidently "Forgot it"
"Well.....that's inconvenient" Kishi said unimpressed, thinking that he should've expected it. While Kira only giggled
Fairies came in, serving them food. Airi thought that it's weird the way the fairies carry the large plates with only their foot sized body. But he noticed soon after that the fairies are not carrying the plates, but guiding them to the right direction when one got close to him.
Rex was totally getting sick as the table filled up with food. Kishi looked over Sychi, and said,
"Can I have ice cream?"
"No, you'll have one till desert"
Kira giggled again. Kishi looked at her, and she smiled in return "Sychi, Oni-chan does not want to eat vegetables" she said taking a glance at the foods in the table which is mostly made out of vegetables
Kishi turned pink and defended himself "I said none!"
"then go ahead and eat" said Sychi irritably
After dinner, they decided to go in Kishi's room next
"hold on!" Rex stopped Kishi hand to prevent him from opening the door. "before you do that, please tell me--I said wait!"
But it was no use. Kishi ignored him and turned the gold knob to open the rosewood door. It revealed a gorgeously white pentagonal room. The room was a bit dark, and the curtains are blocking every bit of sunlight from the outside of the giant glass windows. Kira had entered first, and surprisingly, the room had lit. Lune looked around to see where the light was coming from, but he saw none.
Kira quickly climbed the humongous bed and took the fluffy looking fox stuffed toy and hugged it tightly in her arms.
"Oh Fuffy! If you only knew how much I missed you"
Rex looked at her weirdly and attempted to whisper to Airi,
"That's a spirit Rex" Airi said contemptuously
"How would you know?" Rex argued pointlessly, but Airi just sighed. He's such an idiot, he thought
The stuffed toy looking fox began to glimmer, and suddenly came to life. The stitches had disappeared and its eyes looked so real. It blinked twice, then wrapped its paws on Kira. He seemed delighted as he floated around in circles. Kira only giggled.
"You see now?" Airi said to Rex
"Er--yeah--well--I mean...what type of spirit turns to cuddly toy?!"
"That's what they call companion spirit" Lune had answered him, still reading "They are the ones who provide comfort to their master in exchange of saving their lives. Though they are quite rare"
Fuffy was now making cute movements with his four fluffy tails, showing off to Kira. But she was now distracted, looking for something as she hastily flipped all the pillows, completely ignoring him. Kishi sighed and pointed at the bookshelf on third from the right of the door which they entered upon.
"Kira, you left it over there" he said
"Er...right..." She went to it quickly and took a book with black leather cover. Kira opened it and walked back to the bed. An idea suddenly popped out of Airi's mind that he can't help but ask
"This palace might be big, and the rooms are also big, but....do you perhaps sleep here together?" He asked awkwardly
There was awkward silent
Rex denied it hoping Kishi would follow his lead "Nah...he can't have--" But sadly, Kishi disagreed with him
"what if we do?"
Rex gasped, Airi just stared at him, and Lune didn't even give any reaction "I....er...thought so" Said Airi
"There are rooms prepared for you--"
"Can we sleep here?" asked Lune to Kishi unexpectedly, making the others quite shocked
Kishi looked at him for a moment "Do whatever you want, I don't care" Kishi climbed the bed and lay flat beside Kira whose still busy with her book
They spent the whole evening playing games, and chatting about various topics, then slept.
