Park Jimin, a 5 year old boy, had been facing this every time he comes over to the playground. He looked down at his shoes, holding back his tears. Despite going through that, he never stopped trying to search for friends. The kid was lonely and always heartbroken when he fails to make friends again. He doesn't understand why people had to reject him so badly, whether they're kids or adults. Yes, even adults reject him. Parents of other kids bluntly saying harsh stuff like "Stay away from my child." or "I don't appreciate you playing so close to my child."
He felt a warm hand resting on his shoulder and lifted his head up to see the warm expression of his beautiful mother. She smiled at him and said "What's wrong cupcake? Please don't cry sweetie" pulling him into a sweet embrace.
"Mama" he sobbed into her shoulder. "Why does no one want to be my friend mama?" his voice breaking as he spoke softly.
She rubbed his small back, lifting him up. "Maybe today wasn't a good day to go to the playground, I'm sorry cupcake."
"Mm~" he said lifting his head, shaking it and rubbing his wet eyes with his hand. "It's not mama's fault! Please don't say sorry mama. You're the bestest person in the world mama. So please don't say sorry mama." He said kissing her cheek.
His mother looked at him, fighting back her own tears. Her baby was such a gentle and sweet little boy. Even she couldn't understand why other people are treating him like he's some sort of disease. She hugged him tightly, heartbroken like her little boy.
Even at home, everyone else had been treating him the same way. She had thought it was too cruel. But there was nothing she could do but just be there for her sweet little boy. She was painfully aware at how much she means to Jimin. To him, she is the only person who loves him. As cruel as it sounds, it was true.
"Do you want to go home cupcake? Or do you wanna play at the swings with mommy?" She said with a sweet smile.
The small boy in her arms shook his head and cupped both her cheeks "I know you're tired mama. Let's go home!" He said with a bright smile, showing his crooked front teeth and a missing tooth. Eyes disappearing behind his lids.
Jimin's mother hugged her child once more. "Thank you baby. My smart and sweet boy." She put him down and took his hand. They left the playground together.
Jimin looks back to see other kids looking at him in disgust. His mother gently turned his head back as they continued walking home.
'I don't understand.' He thought.
11 Years later.
"Eomma?! Eomma what's wrong!" a 16 years old Jimin asked with a panicked tone. Running to his mother who he found lying on the kitchen floor with blood stains on her lips. Holding her in his arms.
She opened her eyes weakly, looking at her beautiful boy. "Hey sweetie..." She muttered quietly, raising her weak hand to cup his cheek. Touching his face with her blood stained fingers, spreading a soft smile across her shivering bloody lips. "Jimin...sweetie...please don't cry for me…"
Jimin was shaking, tears flowing down his cheeks. He was afraid. Afraid of losing the only person who mattered to him. "E-Eomma…" He held her hand and kissed her forehead. "Eomma, whats happening eomma?" His speech reverting back to when he was younger, when he used to end his sentences with mentioning his mom.
"I'm sorry for not telling you-" She coughs and continued "-sooner" She smiled once again, letting her own tears flow. "Jimin sweetie, please. Whatever you do, stay strong...I know you're a strong boy. One day, you'll understand everything...and when you do...please remember that I love you no matter what..."
"W-what? What are you talking about eomma? Please d-don't apologise eomma. Please don't l-leave me eomma. You're only person who will ever love me eomma."
She managed to laugh softly before coughing out more blood. "J-Jimin...cupcake...Please forgive me. I don't-" She winces in pain when she tried to lean towards her son more "-think I can promise that, sweetie...I'm sure...someday...there will be people..who will love you unconditionally...like I do..." Her voice becoming softer and softer. Jimin shook his head, his body shaking in fear, his heart in too much pain. She looked up to him, into his tear-filled eyes. "I'm sorry my beautiful boy...For leaving first...Stay strong…" She says, as her arm slowly becomes limp. "I lo…" Her voice trails off as she pushed out her last breath. Her eyes remained open, looking into his eyes.
"E-Eomma…" He said softly, shaking her gently. He knew she was gone. But he didn't want to accept the fact that his beloved mother had died in his arms. He closed her eye lids gently and hugged her dead body close, calling "eomma" over and over again with a shaky voice.
---
The front door opened, revealing a short middle-aged male, looking tired. He walked in first followed by his oldest child, his daughter. They were talking about some stuff regarding her college matters. They paused when they heard the sound of someone sobbing and repeating "eomma" over and over again. They looked at each other and rushed to the where the voice came from.
"Jung Hee-ah…." The older male muttered softly. Slowly dragging his feet towards his wife's body. Till he crashed on the floor crying out loud. Pulling her away from Jimin's arms.
"EOMMAAAA" Jimin's sister dropped beside her father to cup her mother's face. Crying her heart out. From Jimin's reaction, they figured she wasn't just passed out. They knew they came home too late.
The room slowly drowned with sounds of sobbing.
After a few minutes, the older man looked up to his son with hatred in his eyes. "You murdered her…"
Jimin shot his eyes upwards. "W-What?? Appa… No. I didn't!!! She was already on the floor when I came into the kitchen...Appa no…"
"NO. YOU KILLED OUR MOTHER." His sister bursted out loud, standing up and making her way to her younger brother. Jimin backed away from where he was sitting. He was so confused.
"Noona! NO! I DIDN'T!!! I SWEAR!!" He replied loudly.
"GET OUT." his father shouted as his sister left the room quickly.
"A-Appa? W-what? N-No...A-Appa where would I go?" He asked, trying to figure out why things took this kind of turn.
"I don't care. I don't ever want to see you again." He said while holding his wife's body close.
Jimin couldn't even speak anymore. He was overwhelmed with so many emotions. He turned his head when his sister lifted him up roughly and dragged him to the front door and pushed him out before going back inside only to appear again at the door, arms full of Jimin's stuff.
She threw them at him and threw his empty luggage bag at him. "Be thankful I'm even giving you your stuff."
He was too shocked to even reply to that. Yet he managed to beg for something when the door was slammed closed. He banged on the door, "L-Let me attend her funeral at least Noona! P-Please!"
The door swung open, pushing him away with it. He fell on his ass at the sudden movement. "Are you fucking kidding me Jimin? How DARE YOU SAY THAT." Her fists clenching. She closed her eyes to catch her composure once more.
"Jimin. Please leave." She says calmly even though her voice still shook. She opened her eyes, not looking at him with anger anymore, but her eyes was filled with so much pity that it adds more to Jimin's confusion. "Please. Don't come back."
She turned away and made her way back into the apartment's entrance. Closing the door slowly, looking at her pitiful younger brother once more. "Good bye Jimin."
4 years later
After he was kicked out of his own home, after his mother died in his arms, he thought he wouldn't be able to continue on with his life back them. But his mother was right all along, he was stronger than he thought he was. He left Busan with a heavy heart and moved to Seoul to find his own small studio apartment. He had enough money saved up to pay for the first month and managed to pay for the things he needed to pay after finding multiple jobs.
He managed to get back to his studies after a few months of trying to catch up on his own. Although in the end, he had to be pushed down a year. He didn't mind, as long as it was an opportunity to continue and finish his lonely and dull high school life. He spent the rest of his high school life, not even trying to make friends anymore. He rejected any invitations knowing things could go wrong at some point if he made friends. Plus, they didn't really mean it when they asked him. They probably pitied him and asked him out of pity. He wouldn't talk to anyone unless he had to. People made fun of him and called him creepy for being so secretive about everything. But he was used to the bad treatment, so he just ignored them.
Things went "well" for a while. Until the day he graduated, when one of his classmates came up to him when he was alone. Confessing his feelings for Jimin.
"I'm Sang Hoon! I've been interested in you for a few months already Jimin-sshi! Be my boyfriend!" The guy chirped.
Jimin was honestly surprised. Expecting that it was just a joke or some sort of prank. He waited for people to just jump out of nowhere to say it was just a prank. But seeing how serious the guy was, it wasn't a joke. Jimin pushed his orange bangs away from his forehead, not knowing how to reject a confession.
It would be a lie to say that he wasn't secretly excited and flattered that someone would actually take interest in him in that way.
He felt slightly embarrassed and stood there awkwardly, remembering when he overheard some girls saying that he was becoming more good-looking these days, especially after he dyed his hair orange (which he actually just did on a whim). It made him wonder if this guy was only interested in him because of his looks.
"O-Oh...uhm...Thank you for liking me Sang Hoon-sshi but-"
His rejection was cut off when the guy said "Just Sang Hoon is good!" with a big smile.
"Oh-" Jimin looked at him and felt himself changing his mind. The guy looked like a nice guy and Jimin thought 'would it be so wrong...if I accepted? let loose and finally giving myself the things I think I deserve?'
He stood there debating with himself mentally until Sang Hoon grabbed his shoulders. Jimin jumped and looked up at the taller male.
"Don't overthink Jimin! I'm a nice guy! I'll treat you well!" He said with another big grin.
Jimin looked down to his shoes and blushed slightly.
In the end, he gave in.
Things took an amazing turn and Jimin was never that happy before. He felt so loved and felt so appreciated. Jimin gave his boyfriend everything and moved into his house. The sex was amazing too and Jimin thought things were going to be great for the rest of his life.
But things, life, don't usually go your way.
Things started to go downhill when Jimin's co-worker showed some interest towards him. Although Jimin was oblivious regarding his advances, since the co-worker acted that way towards everyone. Sang Hoon visited Jimin workplace to invite him for lunch one day and caught the co-worker checking Jimin out.
He pulled Jimin away and rushed home. The smaller male was confused and scared. "Sang Hoon-Ah, My wrist hurts, slow down babe…"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP."
Jimin jumped slightly at his loud voice. He stayed quiet and ignored his painful wrist.
When they got home, it was abusive day 1. His happy days only lasted for 3 months.
8 months have passed since abusive day 1 when one morning he thought of how he had enough of being abused and have the asshole feel sorry for jimin, apologise, fuck him senseless for forgiveness only for him to abuse the smaller male again and again the next day. That day he tried to escape the prison which was Sang Hoon's apartment, when he thought that the crazy male wasn't going to be home till late at night. He packed all the things he needed and left the place, only to bump into the crazy bastard in the hallway towards the elevator.
He was beaten up when they got back to the apartment. It was so bad until the poor small guy passed out, not being able to handle the pain this time. He woke up only to find himself naked on the couch, it didn't take him long to figure out that the crazy bastard had raped him when he was passed out. He hugged his legs, grabbing the blanket on the sofa, covering himself and cried his eyes out, not knowing what to do anymore. Sang Hoon came out from their bedroom towards his boyfriend that he hates and loves so much.
"Oh right yeah. Sorry about that. I couldn't control myself. I have to go out for a while, I'll be back soon."
"YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE." Jimin shouted at his face, not being able to hold back anymore. He's had enough of this. He didn't want to live like this anymore. He had never fought back against Sang Hoon before, but this time, he couldn't handle it anymore.
"What…" He said, eyes dark with anger. "What did you call me?" He grabbed a handful of Jimin's light orange hair and pulled his head back. "YOU FUCKING BITCH. YOU DARE TO FIGHT BACK?"
Jimin pushed the male's face away, clawing his nails into his skin. "L-Let me go!! I want to leave! WHY DO I HAVE TO STAY WITH A PSYCHOPATH WHO ONLY ABUSES ME."
"What the fuck! I take care of you too! I bring home food and the stuff you need!" He screams back after Punching Jimin's hand away.
"Sang Hoon! It's been 8 months since I last went out! You kept me here like a prisoner. I want to live too! I don't want to hurt anymore!" Jimin shouted as he kept hitting the the bastard as hard as he can.
Sang Hoon caught his wrists and squeezed them as hard as he could, which left the smaller male to wince in pain. He turned him around and hugged him from the back, leaving jimin's arms caught. Jimin cried more as he felt his strength leaving his body. He was getting too tired to fight back. "S-Sang Hoon please! I know you don't love me anymore, so please...just let me go! Let me go!"
"NO! You're mine Jimin! I hate you with all my heart but I love you."
Jimin sobbed, feeling hopeless and weak once more, thinking there's no way out of this hell hole.
"I don't...love you anymore Sang Hoon-ah...I want to be free from you." Jimin says slowly with a shaky voice which gradually became more quiet as he said that sentence.
He felt the arms around him become tighter. It felt like his ribs were going to break and he was having a hard time breathing. "What...did you say…" He let go and pushed Jimin to the floor. Who weakly forced himself to sit up as he held the blanket around him. He looked up at his abusive crazy boyfriend and his lips quivered when he saw him taking his belt off, holding it in one hand.
"N-No...P-Please Sang Hoon-Ah…" Jimin raised both his hands as a shield. Afraid of what was going to come next.
But things didn't go the way he wanted as usual.
---
"N-No more S-Sang Hoon-Ah" Jimin says with a shaky voice, hugging his shaking legs close to his chest. Sitting at the corner of the living room, covering his bruised bare body with a blanket. "P-please." he pleaded, raising one of his shaking arms to use it as a shield once again, showing his bruised wrists, marked with belt marks and arms covered with the colour of bruises, just like the rest of his body. "N-No more. I'll be good from now on…" He said while sobbing.
On the other side of the room, stood Sang Hoon. He stood there, with with a belt still in his right hand. "If you ever" He took a step closer "go against me again. I won't be as forgiving anymore. And don't even THINK of leaving again!"
"I-I won't! I'll stay by your side from now on!"
"Good." He turned and walked towards the bedroom door. He looked back and said "Go clean yourself up. You look like a fucking mess."
"I..I will.." Jimin said softly, but loud enough for the other male to hear him. He jumped when the door slammed closed and cried more into his knees.
His heart felt like it was in too much pain, his body hurt everywhere, not being able to handle everything once again, he passes out once more.
The next time he wakes up, he was fully clothed and was on the bed. He sat up, wincing at the pain he feels everywhere. He looks around to search for his fucked up boyfriend. He hears rustling from Sang Hoon's walk in closet. Jimin stands up slowly, holding himself, scared of approaching the crazy male. He stood at the opened door and was shocked to see what was happening.
Sang Hoon was quickly packing Jimin's clothes into a big luggage bag. His face was pale as he cleared his stuff.
"W-What are you doing?" Jimin asked which made him jump in surprise. He rushed and closed the luggage and pushed past the smaller male. Jimin followed, unable to understand what was happening once again.
They ended up at the front door. Sang Hoon turned to Jimin and gave him the luggage bag. "Leave. Let's not meet again."
Jimin froze. Confused the fuck out. This was all what he wanted, yet a part of him felt sad to hear those words again. Another part of him thought 'if even someone as crazy as Sang Hoon is throwing me out...then I'm really fucked aren't I?'
He opened his mouth to speak but Sang Hoon spoke first "don't worry about crossing paths with me. I'll be moving to a different country." He opened the door and said "Good bye Jimin." Not even looking at him.
The orange haired male took his packed things and left. It's no use to dwell over how things used to be amazing. What's important now is that he's out of that hell hole.
3 years later (Current time)
The sound of laughter fills a room.
"YAH! I'm trying to sleep" a blonde haired male screams as he sat up from his bed. Throwing a box of tissue at the person who was sitting on a futon on the floor, laughing at fucking 3am at some show that was playing on the tv.
"Oh g'morning Jiminie! Thanks for the tissues! I needed them" The brown haired male said, taking the box of tissue that only landed perfectly beside him. He wiped his tears away which was caused by non-stop laughter.
"Tae it's 3 in the fucking morning...Why are you even up? You said you wanted to hang out and sleep over. But you're not even sleeping." Jimin said as he lies back down messing his blonde hair up in frustration.
Kim Tae Hyung, a ball of energy, and unfortunately, Jimin's best friend. Honestly, sometimes, Jimin thinks that it's hard to keep track with the guy. He's so unpredictable and it gets even weirder if he wasn't being...playful or purposely annoying Jimin.
Jimin pushed his blonde hair up with his fingers and turned to face his best friend who had proceeded to watch the late-night show and laughing his ass off. Jimin sighed, but couldn't help but smile. No matter how much Taehyung would annoy the heck out of him, he wouldn't trade him for anything. He reminisces back to when they met.
After escaping Sang Hoon's prison, he moved back into his old studio apartment. He had a hard time adjusting back to his old life. Searching for jobs once again and managing to get multiple jobs once again. He got more jobs this time since he didn't have to worry about high school and taking care of a boyfriend.
People always looked at him weird cause he was wearing warm clothes during summer. When he had to do that so he can hide the bruises away.
One night when he was taking out the trash, for a restaurant he was working under, a blonde male came crashing into him. Sending them both flying to the ground.
"Owwww, what the fuckkkk" Jimin said as he winces in pain. Rubbing his elbows which hurt from the impact.
"Oh shit! Sorry! I wasn't looking!" The blonde male said as he helped Jimin up. "I was dared to run through this alley way with my eye closed!" He said with a finger pointing upwards like he was pointing out some important fact.
"W-What?? Who the hell told you to do that?"
"Those guys..." He trailed off as the people who he was supposed to point to weren't there anymore. "Oh they disappeared. Hm...Oh well~"
Jimin looked at him with a judging face, rubbing his elbows once more.
"Oh shit does it hurt? Sorry silver man!"
"S-Silver...." Jimin muttered under his breath wondering what the fuck the dude was talking about, only to figure out that he was probably referring to jimin's silver hair.
"Here lemme take a look!" He pulled Jimin's arm to yank the ends of his sleeves upwards.
"WAIT!" He tried to stop him but was too late. The blonde male looked horrified when he saw the bruises that were still there on Jimin's arm.
"OH GOD DID I CRASH INTO YOU THAT HARD." He said panicking.
Jimin looked at him, dumbfounded. Things were silent for a few seconds before Jimin burst out laughing till his stomach hurt. He felt so relieved all of a sudden, like lots of weight was lifted off his shoulders. He hadn't laughed like that since the time when things were still amazing between him and Sang Hoon.
Jimin pulled his sleeves back down. "No you idiot! They're not from the crash." He said with a genuine smile. The smile he has where his eyes basically disappear behind his lids.
Tae looked at him weirdly, frozen for a few seconds. Slowly figuring out that the bruises was an indication that the silver man was being abused.
He rested a hand on silver man's shoulder. Jimin stopped smiling and looked at him confused.
"I understand now Silver man. Come. We must go." He said with a serious face and pulled Jimin up to make him stand.
"What? Where are we going? I don't even know you!" Jimin said.
The blonde male walked to the restaurant's back door and walked in. "BOSS MAAM! I'm taking silver man with me! Hope that won't be too inconvenient!"
Jimin could see his boss jumping from shock when the blonde male made his announcement. He stood at the alleyway with his arms crossed, knowing he won't be allowed to leave early.
He watched the blonde male run back outside with a boxy grin. "Let's go Silver man!" He yelled, swinging an arm around Jimin's shoulder and dragging Jimin away.
"Wait WHAT???" He looked back to see his boss waving at him off. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the energetic stranger once more. Wondering what the fuck he did to make the boss allow him to leave early when she's basically a female sparta.
The blonde guy just looked at him with his stupid boxy grin, and said "Kim Taehyung! Call me Tae! Or TaeTae!"
That night, he was brought out to drink his heart out. They got to know each other and he probably told Tae things he shouldn't have told him. He also found out that Tae was a son of a rich family, and his mother was a famous actress or something.
Since that night, Tae declared that he was Jimin's best friend.
At first, Jimin wasn't sure about letting people into his life again. Knowing how destructive things could end up to be. He knows how sweet things started with and how bad they end. But day after day, Tae would come up to him and made things fun for Jimin. Life wasn't as dull anymore with the amazing guy in it.
Just like that, more than 2 years later, this is how they turned out to be. Pointless hang outs and random sleepovers. Somewhere along the way, they even made a weird decision to dye their hair together too, so now Tae has brown hair and Jimin is blonde.
Tae also managed to convince Jimin to quit some jobs to apply for the same university as him. Jimin didn't really regret making that decision. His uni life was going pretty smooth.
"Tae go to sleeeeeep" Jimin whined after he wiped the smile off his face when he thought of the good memories.
The brunette whined back at Jimin, 10x worse that Jimin's. Thrashing his legs around. He stopped after a few seconds, and just sat there quietly for a short while. He lied down and started snoring in literally 5 seconds.
The blonde male stared at his best friend. "Tae...you're such a handful sometimes..." He muttered to himself and smiled again. He switched off the TV and went back to sleep thinking about something he wouldn't say out loud.
'but that's why I love you'
To him, Taehyung is someone irreplaceable. A brother who he never thought he needed and is currently the only person who could ever understand him. And of course, it was also the same vice versa.
---
The next morning, Jimin felt a heavy object crashing over his body. He woke up thinking the ceiling was falling apart. He shot his head up only to hit his forehead hard against another skull.
"OW! JIMINIEEEEEE!!!" "OW! TAEEEEE!!!" They both winced together, holding where they hit their heads.
"Tae get offfff! I thought the ceiling fell on me!"
"What?! Excuse you, I happened to lose 0.6kg this week!" The brunette complained squishing his best friend's cheeks together.
"Ughhh ip dwasent madder!" Jimin said, pushing him off.
He stood up and looked back to see Taehyung pinching the little stomach fat he had and smiled. Probably happy cause it seemed less that usual or something.
Jimin chuckled at his best friend's actions and shook his head. "Let's have breakfast after I'm done showering."
---
They sat on the floor by the small coffee table after breakfast, skimming through the tv, to see what was fun to watch. The two were bored the fuck out. It was Jimin's day off too, so it was a shame they didn't have anything planned that day.
"I wish something interesting would just happen already!" Taehyung said out loudly, leaning back against the bed and throwing his head back to lie it on the bed. Making ridiculous facial expressions out of annoyance.
And just as if his wish came true, the doorbell rang. Jimin looked at the door and glanced at the brunette once before getting up.
He opened the door to see two tall men, who were dressed formally, standing at his door step.
"Um...how may I help you?" Jimin asked quietly since the two guys didn't say anything.
"Park Jimin-Sshi?" The man with the dirty blonde hair with black rimmed glasses said with his hands behind his back.
"Yes? That's me…"
"Good Afternoon, Park Jimin-sshi. My name is Kim Namjoon and this is my colleague Kim Seokjin." He said, introducing the other guy with the pastel pink hair as well. They both offered their hands for a formal handshake. Jimin shook both their hands with a confused expression. Not knowing where this was going.
The pink haired man, Kim Seokjin, rummaged into his chest pocket and took out a business card case, handing over one card to Jimin. "We would like you to follow us to our company. Our boss has personally requested you to join us."
Jimin took the card and looked over it. It was black and designed with a minimalist style. It had 'J.P.I.D' on it and some names with their contact information. It looked like an established company's business card.
He looked up at the two men, feeling slightly intimidated all of a sudden. He gave them a confused expression and asked "Your...boss?"
"Yes. Mr.Jeon Jungkook would like to have you join our company."
"Oh." Jimin paused for a few seconds, surprised that this was even happening. He was actually invited to work under what seemed like an established company. Not just some 3-start restaurant or convenience store cashier. "What do you guys do exactly?" Jimin asked.
The two men exchanged looks and turned back to Jimin. "J.P.I.D. which stands for Jeon Paranormal Investigation Department. We solve paranormal cases." Seokjin replied plainly.
Jimin turns pale "Oh."
He screams mentally. Not being able to say anything cause he was feeling conflicted.
To say that Jimin was terrified was an understatement. Because he knows how easily scared he is when it comes to horror-related stuff, not that he would admit it outloud. So it left him wondering, why would this Jungkook guy request for Jimin personally and more importantly, HOW does he know about Jimin?
'Why me?'
He looked away and chewed on his plump lower lip, debating whether he should reject this offer or not.
Namjoon glanced at Jin and nudged him, as if signalling for something. The pink haired male nodded and smiled at Jimin. Taking out his phone, opening the calculator app. "Would you like to know what you should be expecting for your salary?" He asked as his eyes stayed on the calculator as he did some additions and some multiplications on it.
Jimin looked up at them and nodded, seeming more eager than he expected. He waited for a few seconds before Jin turned his phone screen to show Jimin the large amount of money that was clearly on the screen.
Jimin's eyes widened, held the phone and pulled it closer, to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks. With this amount of money, he wouldn't even have to keep working at his current multiple jobs and he would be able to pay for his own rent as well as his university fees. Even with those aside, he'd still have more than enough money to enjoy it a little and pay back his debt towards Taehyung who has helped him financially more than once before.
After what felt like a year of waiting, the two men smiled in relief when Jimin the scaredy-cat said dryly "Okay. I'll do it. But I'll have to see how things work at the office first?" He tried his best to keep his composure cause his pale face was enough to give away that the male was scolding himself mentally.
Namjoon shook Jimin's hand once more and said "Very well, Jimin-sshi! That will not be a problem, Mr.Jeon Jungkook is expecting to meet you personally after all. Would you like us to wait for you in the car?"
"N-No, I might take a while since I currently have a guest over-" He was cut off when he felt a coat hang on his shoulders and his sling bag being put over his head and shoulder.
"No you don't! I'm gone!" Taehyung chirped out of nowhere after attacking Jimin with the coat and bag.
"What are y-" Jimin was cut off once more when he felt his best friend push him gently outside. Taehyung gave him a genuine smile.
"Don't worry about me, Jiminnie~ I'll make sure I switch everything off and lock up for you! This is a really good opportunity for you and I don't wanna drag things out for you, yknow?" He said, scratching the back of his head. It's one of those moments when Tae gets serious. It's even more strange in a way, since Jimin was so used to seeing him be crazy in a good way all the time. But Jimin smiled back and watched the two tall male from earlier, walk down the stairs.
"Thank you Taehyung. I don't know where I'd be without you."
Tae gave him his signature boxy grin and slapped Jimin's back, "Yah, quickly go!"
They waved at each other after Jimin properly put on his coat and made sure he looked presentable as he fixed the shoe laces of his black boots. He was already wearing a long black sweater and black skinny jeans. He doesn't own any suits, so it was no use trying to change into something formal since he had none.
"TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT IT LATER!" Tae yelled out to Jimin who was half way down the stairs.
He heard a fading "I will!" as a reply.
