Zyair planned to end the last round of Games of the Generals at five minutes mark, but who knew something so mysterious happened and he lost the last round.
With only a few pieces remaining, Cinderella's side seemed too spacious. Contrary, Zyair's side looked like scattered beads with more than five pieces remaining including the flag.
Zyair wanted to seize the flag and occupy the opposite camp. So with a greater ambition, Zyair moved the flag that was hiding from the beginning.
Zyair proceeded as planned. He didn't see any problem with his progress until his Army General was eliminated.
With a head full of black question marks, Zyair looked at Cinderella's side and frowned.
There were only three pieces left in the enemy camp including the flag.
According to his calculations, the identity of those pieces must be the flag, a Private and the Sergeant.
So...
Why did his Army General get eliminated?
Zyair looked at those particular pieces that killed his Army General. The flag? No, no, no, that's impossible. Flag could be killed by any ranks, but it can only eliminate the enemy flag. So who can eliminate his Army General?
Moving the mouse towards the bottom of the screen, Zyair opened the list off eliminated pieces; both his and Cinderella's.
There's nothing wrong with it, except that his Army General now lies together with its dead comrades.
Seeing this, Zyair couldn't help but frown even more.
Could it be?...she really cheated...?
She cheated!?!
Thinking of these facts, Zyair frantically went to menu settings, wanting to report this fraudulent game.
But no matter how much he looks, he can't find any
"Argh!" Scratching his head furiously, Zyair persisted in finding that
[System detected AFK behavior from player RiverSun. Disqualification Warning!]
[Player RiverSun was given 5 seconds to go back into the game.]
[Player RiverSun was given 4 seconds to go back into the game.]...
...
[Player RiverSun was given 2 seconds to go back into the game.]
Seeing the timer counting down, Zyair gritted his teeth, while fiercely pounding on his chest. He moved a piece forward, eliminating one of the last three pieces on Cinderella's side.
Zyair felt his heart was filled with magma. It keeps on thump thump thump blood full of fire, almost burning him alive.
When he AFK for more than 30 minutes earlier, this vicious system didn't even give him this kind of alert.
Now, he only AFK for more than a minute, this system could even wait for a few more minutes to disqualify him!
Sighing heavily, he just wanted to finish this game and get on with it. He didn't even know why he was playing it.
Looking at the board on the screen, Zyair saw Cinderella's two pieces were quite far apart and needed a few turns to be able to hold hands and fight together.
Zyair laughed maliciously. Just what he wanted. That piece who killed his Army General was on the other side of the board, while the flag of the opposite side was completely bare at the center. With few moves, Zyair completely surrounded the enemy flag. Nevertheless, Zyair didn't feel quite happy about it.
Well, it was because Cinderella princess didn't even care to move this lone flag of hers. But instead keep playing with the f*cking piece at that corner of the board.
'I bet she's planning to win by sending a piece to the edge of the board, completely occupying the territory.'
Even so, Zyair won't let her. He wanted to eat everything on the other side. So he divides his forces and intercepts the "suspected" spy that killed his Army General. Since it's a spy, only the private can kill it.
So he sent the private and the sergeant over the suspicious piece, then at the next turn, Zyair went to advance the captain near the lone enemy piece at the center of the board.
If his guess was correct, and there's no malicious tampering, once Zyair moves the Captain forward then it will be game over for Cinderella princess.
But if his Captain got eliminated, then...
Zyair moved the mouse and clicked on the Captain in front of the enemy piece.
Lo and behold! Zyair's Captain was eliminated!!
Bam!
Zyair angrily slammed his fist over the keyboard.
...
"...um? This is good." This player was beginning to lose his temper. His moves became more hasty and straightforward. Still, no matter what piece he moved, he would still lose.
Zezolla saw the player move a piece towards her flag. With a snap of her fingers, the flag became a General, and completely eliminated the other party's captain.
Seeing this, Zezolla couldn't help but smile brightly. No matter what method, she wanted to win. Even if she is cheating or whatever, she is still the winner.
She laughed softly and continued eating away all the other side's pieces until the flag was the only one left.
In the end, even the flag was cut off from the ground.
Zyair's blazing red flag was cut off by the enemy General that came out of nowhere and was replaced by the sissy blue form of Cinderella.
Up until the end, Zyair couldn't believe what happened.
He may suck in online games and rpg for some reason, but this was the game he never lost before.
More importantly, Zyair didn't lose because the other party was strong but because the other party cheated.
Zyair was so angry that he couldn't stop himself from throwing the whole computer down.
The loud crashing sound was heard throughout the entire room. Zyair's chest heaved up and down, his face was red from anger. His whole body was trembling and he couldn't even speak a word or curse.
It seemed that he had really snapped.
Then his sight turned dark.
...
...
...
When Zyair woke up again, he was no longer at the mansion. What welcomed his eyes when he opened them were such incredible sights.
It was blue. All blue.
Zyair looked around in dazed. He stood at the center of a familiar yet unfamiliar hall. When Zyair looked up he saw the sky mural in the ceiling and the crystal drops chandeliers.
Bewildered, Zyair tried to stand up. But he only managed to sit up, when he saw his reflection on the crystal clear wall on his right side.
Without any expression on his face, Zyair saw "this man" looking back at him expressionlessly. Because the crystal wall is as clear as a mirror, Zyair could clearly see "the man". The figure on the wall was sitting on the ground, both his hands were supporting his body on the ground. His legs were slightly bent but clearly one could see that he had long legs.
The man on the wall has familiar short and messy hair, the same unruly golden head as he remembered. And the man's eyes, as he continued to stare, began to change. From indifferent bewilderment to dazed confusion to shock realization. The light golden hues around his iris brightened, and it looked more prominent under his dimmed Amber eyes. Now the man in the wall looked as if his eyes were shining gold, which made Zyair frowned.
Then Zyair saw the man in the wall frowned as well. Then shortly after he heaved a deep sigh.
'This man is clearly my reflection!'
As if lightning struck him, Zyair froze for a second before hurriedly standing up and facing a mirror like an eager cat.
Zyair carefully looked at the man reflected on the wall. Every detail on his face, his hair, his eyes, his clothes, everything. When he is finally satisfied, Zyair finally begins to think.
This is clearly his character avatar in that trash game. The hell, what is he doing here?
Zyair never liked reading ever since he was born. The only time he was forced to read and write was when he had to learn how to read and write. Because of his good brain, he learned easily, so he just needed to read once to know everything. But despite this, Zyair never thought of reading anything more than necessary. He was already forced to school, and he never wanted to do anything that involves reading.
That's why, Zyair didn't know the current trending genre young people like to read nowadays.
So until he finished appreciating his new body, Zyair never knew that he just transmigrated into that trashy game he always hated.
