Even was a normal high school student. While walking home from school, he saw a small girl chasing after a cat. As he watched, he noticed the girl running towards the road, where a truck was speeding towards her. The driver appeared to be drunk. Seeing this, Even ran after the small girl. He managed to push her out of the way just in time. The truck hit Even, sending him flying. As he began to lose consciousness, a smile formed on his lips, knowing the small girl was safe. Soon after, everything went dark for Even.
