This is the story of the final individual to awaken from a stasis field, with the discovery of dark-matter, which was an apocalyptic event that changed everything. Set in a slightly dystopian distant future, where barriers are needed to protect the people from the dangerous mutations of the wild. 

70 individuals were frozen in time only 69 awoke, and the seventieth awoke a thousand years later. In this time frame in the year 4021, the 69 was given an almost godlike status because they do not age. In this new age people with supernatural abilities was common place, but the 69 were the pinnacle
