Chapter 10 - The Training Starts

Allen and Mea arrived at Alise's training centre, after their escapade at Mea's office. Mea was still rather riled up but on the other side she was also rather happy.

Males can't be attacked. The punishment is rather severe, but if a male punches a male especially for someone like Allen. It would be nothing more than a 'Don't do it again".

Alise was already waiting outside her training centre by the time they arrived. Mea was a bit suspicious of that. Climbing out of the car they approach Alise who had a look of concerned curiosity, "Welcome to my little slice of heaven. Now, before we continue I have a few question to ask if I may."

Mea nods her head for her to continue.

Alise continues, "Now, as you all know I am pretty distrustful of natural males. So here is my first question. Who the hell are you really?"

There was an open sense of hostility in her voice.

Allen noticed it, but ignored it, "Allen Katawinski. This is Mea. She is a bit bossy, and sometimes oppressive…"

Mea elbows him slightly in his gut, "Oi, stop making it sound like I am the bad guy here."

"I was going to say, 'but she's a good lass', but fine, shutting up."

Alise sighs in moderate frustration, "I have looked you up. There is no one with that name in the system, like you don't even exist. So I will ask again, who are you?"

Mea sighs, "I can only tell you if you enact the secrecy protocol."

This peaked her curiosity, "Okay, that shouldn't be a problem. I hereby enact the secrecy protocol. Any information regarding this subject will be locked down. It will be erased upon my decommissioning, or when I undergo a systems breach. This information is for my use only, until further protocols are enacted upon by the trustee. Now, who am I really dealing with?"

Satisfied, Mea swipes off her interfacer to transmit the data towards Alise who quickly checks the data.

Alise is an android, but even she can show emotions of sheer astonishment,

"How, it was believed he was dead and just being kept in a stasis. The mythological 70th has awakened!? This is big, I think I need to sit down."

A chair comes from the ground at the entrance, as Alise sits, "This is big, even bigger than the awakening period of the 69. This information could even start wars."

"Why do you think I wanted to enact the secrecy protocol."

Allen was befuddled "Why would I be the reason for war?"

Alise sighs then smiles, "If the countries of the system knew you existed, they would do everything in their power to get you on their side. A country with the power of the 69 is usually considered a superpower."

Alise rubs her chin for a bit, "This power I see Mea mentioned, how adept are you in it."

Allen shrugs, "About as adept as a monkey in the sea."

"Strange metaphor. Ok due to the fact that you will be with other student who might blab, I suggest we teach him combat training for now. Might even teach you a bit of prime elemental manipulation. What say you?"

Mea nods, "I concur, I don't want people to know about him, and Allen?"

"Yeah?"

"Keep it in the pants."

"Say what. I'm not a slut you know."

"Not what I meant. I meant your pride."

Allen scratches his head at the statement, but just shrugs it off.

Mea continues, "Ok, I'm off. Call me when you are done, ok?"

Allen shakes his head in derision, "Yes, mom."

Mea hops in the car and flies off, without a word.

Alise chuckles at the scene, "You two have good chemistry."

Allen narrows his eyes, "You're kidding right? I think there is more animosity between the two of us before anything else."

"Are you angry at her?"

Allen tilts his head, what an odd question, "No, why would I be?"

"Huh, well it's still early days."

Both Alise and Allen enters the main hall where they were gonna start the training.

Allen sees a few people standing around quietly talking to each other, this caused him to get nervous.

He never was good with groups of people, now that he thought about it, he was never good with people, point blank.

Alise speaks up, "Class this is a new member, treat him with respect just like you would yourself."

A burly younger man speaks up with a hint of sarcasm, "Of course. We will treat him like our own."

Allen picked the sarcasm up. The typical jock. But in this case he was the only male of the group.

There were seven other females as well.

"All right people we will lift of where we were yesterday. Fundamental plasma manipulation. You can continue. I will be over there with Allen to teach him combat training with the mechs. Call me if you need anything."

Alise takes Allen towards a bunch of inanimate mechs, "Okay, so your biggest problem is that you require the fundamentals. Stamina, technique and of course strength. You are severely lacking on all fronts. From what I can tell is that you have a much larger muscle structure. My initial scans suggest that your muscles are atrophied, though you are on the path to recovery."

Allen never gave it much thought until now as he looked at his weirdly scrawny arms.

He seriously tried fighting that assassin in this form, if it was for that weird power of his, he would have been dead.

He just sighs at the thought, as Alise continues, "Don't be in the dumps like that. You will be following a strict diet, also, drink this."

She gives him a blue semi-translucent pill, "This drastically increases the oxygen your muscles can take. It will allow you to last almost six times longer than you usually would, the downside is you are gonna feel the effects of training a hell of a lot more. For that drink this."

This time she hands him a Red semi-translucent pill, "This is a nano-induced nutritional supplement. It will allow you to recover even while awake, at six times the normal rate."

This is starting to sound more like some silly cliché to Allen, but he only nods. "Remember, only drink that after the training, do it before that and it will mess with your training."

"Mechs, initiate training protocol Basic: train for 6 hours."

She turns towards Allen this time, "Also the training will stop every 2 hours. In that time you will be given diet specific food for optimal built."

Allen couldn't believe his ears, 6 WHOLE FUCKING HOURS OF HELL. This is the future, isn't there some ergonomic way of doing it, "You are a Spartan. I am a flimsy normal human being. Show mercy, please."

Truth be told Alise expected more retaliation, but it seems that he is at least cooperative, so she decided to push her luck, "What, you want me to increase it?"

Allen eyes grew wide in fear, as he also wanted to cry rivers of blood, "Your evil, I guess I have no choice…sniff"

To Allen surprise the mechs leads him to some sort of machine. They point to a place where he must sit. As one of the mechs replies in a mechanical tone, "This is the EEM Mark IX. It simulates a full body exercise as well as force the body to develop the necessary muscle memory. We are only here to assist where needed and to monitor vital your signs."

Allen was mildly impressed, so they did have the convenient training method.

Little did he know was that this training was just as bad.
