2 Weeks later,
Allen has gained a fair amount of strength, as he was looking at a pair of mechanical legs next to him, "The Satan contraptions are back, curses. Cant you just let me watch some more holos."
Leia sighs, "How are you going to become stronger if you refuse."
"Uugh, because it's Satan's contraptions!". Both the android ladies immediately stepped back in fear. It did not go unnoticed by Allen, "You know I'm just messing around, right?"
Both of them relaxed. This wasn't the first time something like this happened, "Okay, my curiosity has gotten the better of me. Why is it when ever I mess around a bit loudly you guys freak out."
Leia tenses up at the question, "Please don't hurt us for saying this...It's because your a male."
Shaking his head confused, he asks, "Why would I hurt you just because I am a male? The weirdest thing I have ever heard." He was slightly offended for some reason. Did they have a bad experience with males or something.
Leia clarifies for him, "Males are in the minority so they get more freedoms, and tends to become ...abusive.."
This pissed off Allen for some reason, "What! Just because they are in the minority doesn't give them any bloody right to do what ever the hell they want. I promise you two, if ever I meet a male that does that shit. I'll smash his head in."
They both looked at him quizzically, "Don't you know anything about males. Amnesia must have hit him pretty hard."
Allen shrugs, "You could say that. So why are males in the minority?"
Serena continues, "75% of males born naturally are stillborn."
That came at quite a shock for Allen, as Serena goes on, "So its to be expected that they get more privilege."
Allen shakes his head vigorously, "No! It's not expected. That's completely barbaric. Everybody should be treated the same. Be you android, demon or elf, male or female or even an it. The laws in that regard needs to change."
Allen gets into the mech-legs with some difficulty, "Well that is at least my thoughts on that matter, but given the technology wouldn't it be better to artificially birth them?"
Leia nods, "Yes it is, but even then they have a 50% chance of survival, and tank bred are treated no better than androids. The reason for the low survival rate is because males are naturally weaker against dark matter exposure."
Allen nods, this subject was surprising for him, "Still doesn't give them the rights to act like dicks."
Allen sighs at the grueling walking phase with the annoying Satan's contraption he was about to walk with, "I swear, every time this thing gets tougher and tougher to walk with, and I just recently started eating solids."
The two androids looks away trying not to make eye contact. Allen sees this and narrows his eyes at them, "You two are...vixens from hell. Whyyyy!?." Allen felt like crying blood after figuring it all out.
Leia smiles, "You are never going to get stronger if you don't train properly, but the good news is you will be released if you can pass this training."
"And go to that dreaded school...perhaps I should botch this." An unexpected slaps heads him upside the head, "Owwww, I did say perhaps."
He turns to look who had hit him, only to find that his dreaded nightmare has returned...Mea.
Allen couldn't help but pout," Well shit..."
"You better pass. School awaits."
Allen groans effusively, "Uuhg, fine."
Allen passed with surprising ease, and as he got himself out of the mech-legs he was presented with a stylized black full body suit, "The hell is this?"
"Your clothes from now on."
Allen takes the suit and studies it with disgust, "This stuff looks like it's been made with latex. Why the hell would I want wear uncomfortable crap like this."
Mea scowls at him, "It not the primitive crap you wore. This suit can change to the color you want. It can also tighten or loosen to your desire. It can even change its shape and form. So if you preferred the primitive clothing you wore it can even change into that, color and all. It even regulates airflow and temperature."
Allen's eyes widens at the statement, "Holy Crap. That is some seriously impressive hardware."
He immediately jumps into the suit, "So, how does it work?"
She gives him a blue holo, half sphere looking device, "Your interfacer. It's pretty much self explanatory. It uses verbal commands, predictive analytics and body motions. Whatever method makes your boat float, it compensates for it." Allen studies it for a while and couldn't figure out how to put it on. Mea sighs, "Might I suggest to place it on your wrist.", she points at her wrist.
The interfacer sucks itself into position on his wrist taking Allen by surprise.
Mea beckons Allen to follow her, "You will be staying with me for obvious reasons that I ain't getting into now. Your interfacer already had the necessary coordinates to your new home but for now your going to school. So follow me."
Allen shrugs and says nothing and just follows her while playing around with the settings on his clothes to make them more comfortable for himself. Allen exuberantly waves at the Androids while saying goodbye. He pouts and makes a playful sad face, "Good bye my beautiful lovelies." Mea just shakes her head.
They arrive at a circular device in a random corner. Mea steps onto it and beckons Allen to gets on, who is busy studying it with a curious face.
"School of Manipulation South."
They immediately disappear in a flash and reappear in a completely different location.
Allen felt a bit queasy after that, "I thinks I just lost my appetite."
"Don't care, you will get used to. We are already late."
Allen just quietly mumbles to himself. Mea was survey the area a bit, "Ah, there he is."
She pulls Allen by his collar, as they make there way to the burly man, "I can walk by myself now, you know."
She shushes him as they approach the man, "Mr. Daniel Shringer. Its a pleasure. He was the man I was talking about."
The man looked like a bear of a man. Rippling muscles, rather hairy man, but had the most friendliest of faces, which took away from his overall intimidating stature. He had brown hair and eyes, weighed a solid 110Kg( about 240 pounds) and about 1.75m (about 5'7 in foot).
The man boomed in a deep voice, "Haha, so this is the young man."
Allen immediately goes into a weak(like in really sad) karate stance, "Male, huh?"
The man laughs, "Tank born, You?"
Allen immediately relaxes and holds out his hand, "Doesn't matter. I'm just another dude like you. I at least try and respect people...well those who deserve it at least."
A holo display pops up, "Allen Katawinski, huh? Classified information. guess your somebody important."
Allen raises his eyes at the statement but says nothing.
Daniel continues, "Well the induction phase has started already. There is only an hour and a half left for you to accomplish at least the mist phase. Come I will show you in the training hall."
They arrive at a large area where there were a bunch of people that was concentrating unusually hard on their...hands.
Allen just wanted to question the logic of what was going on but he kept it to himself.
Daniel interrupts Allen's train of thought, "Okay, this is what I want you to achieve within the time left."
His hands starts emitting a weird black mist, "This is the basic of the basic manipulation. If you can't do this with in the remaining time it would mean that you do not have a talent for it. You better start as quickly as possible, because you are already half an hour behind."
Allen nods and finds a quiet area facing away from everyone.
Daniel looks at his back and asks, "His pretty scrawny, You think he can do it."
Mea shrugs, "Not sure but he is a bit of an unusual case."
Allen looks around the hall as he looks at his own hands, "Not even a clue, perhaps visualization?"
Allen makes an attempt but nothing happens. He keeps trying visualizing it harder and harder, still nothing, "Damn not even the slightest trace, I guess I will just do it without visualization and just do it?"
He just flicks his hands together and to his surprise a transparent black sphere appears, "The fuck?"
He does it a few more times but the same result happens. Is he doing something wrong. He decides to go to Daniel, "I seem to be doing something wrong."
Daniels gently smiles, "I can't give you any tips, Lad."
Allen shakes his head, "No don't need it. I just seem to be doing something wrong."
He shows it by producing the sphere. Both Mea and Daniel's jaws drop.
Daniel was the first to snap out, "WHAT THE HELL!?"
That response caught Allen completely off-guard, "I'm sorry did I do something wrong?" Allen was freaking out.
Mea slaps him upside the head, "Hide that now."
He immediately cancels it out, "What did I do wrong?!"
The whole groups' eyes were on them. Daniel started to laugh as he places his hands on his shoulders an leads him to a private area.
When Daniel was sure he was out of earshot he bellows, "Son, you must be the savant of all savants! Heck I don't even think the 69 was capable of doing that on their first try." He couldn't stop laughing.
Mea shakes her head, "What he is trying to say is that you figured out a way to bypass all the steps for an manifestation. Even gifted individuals who has been training for decades can't even do that. This is absolutely bloody inconceivable. An complete natural. Holy hell."
Daniel scratches his head a bit, "Kid, you better keep that level of talent to yourself. It's only gonna bring unwanted attention to yourself."
Mea taps her lips in thought, "Well he needs different training for the time being. Daniel, any thoughts?"
"Well, we could always..."
