*Chapter 6: The Archangel's Reaction*
Aria stood outside the archangel's office, her heart racing with anticipation. The demon who had escorted her stood beside her, his eyes fixed on the door.
Gabriel's voice boomed from within, "Enter!"
Aria took a deep breath and pushed open the door, stepping into the archangel's office. The room was dimly lit, the only light coming from a single candle that flickered on the desk.
Gabriel sat behind the desk, his eyes fixed on Aria. "So, you're the one who's been playing both sides," he said, his voice dripping with venom.
Aria swallowed hard, trying to think of a response. But before she could speak, Gabriel's gaze fell on the package in her hand.
"What's that?" he asked, his voice sharp.
Aria hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But something about Gabriel's tone put her on edge.
"It's a gift from Vraxxis," she said finally, trying to sound confident.
Gabriel's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "I don't think so," he said, his voice dripping with skepticism.
Suddenly, the archangel's eyes flashed with anger, and he slammed his fist on the desk. "You're working with Vraxxis, aren't you?" he thundered.
Aria took a step back, her heart racing with fear. She knew that she had to think fast, or risk facing Gabriel's wrath.
