*Chapter 12: The Alliance*
Aria hesitated, unsure of what to do. She had always been wary of Elijah, but something about his words resonated with her.
"Why do you want to help me?" she asked, trying to sound skeptical.
Elijah's expression turned serious. "Because I know what it's like to be used by Vraxxis and Gabriel," he said. "I was once a loyal member of the Angels Dragon Mafia, but when I discovered their true intentions, I knew I had to get out."
Aria's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?" she asked.
Elijah leaned in, his voice barely above a whisper. "Vraxxis and Gabriel are planning something big. Something that could destroy the entire city."
Aria's heart skipped a beat. "What is it?" she asked, her voice urgent.
Elijah hesitated, glancing around nervously. "I'm not entirely sure," he admitted. "But I know it involves the package you delivered."
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a woman with long, flowing hair and piercing green eyes.
"Ah, Elijah," she said, her voice husky. "I see you're still playing both sides."
Elijah's expression turned wary. "Lilith," he said, his voice cautious. "What are you doing here?"
Lilith smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm here to offer my services," she said. "I have information about Vraxxis's plans, and I'm willing to share it... for a price."
Aria's eyes narrowed. Who was this mysterious woman, and what did she want?
