*Chapter 8: Vraxxis's Plan*
Vraxxis strode into the room, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Gabriel, my old friend," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I see you're still as predictable as ever."
Gabriel's face turned red with rage, and he launched himself at Vraxxis. But the demon was too quick, dodging the archangel's attack with ease.
Aria watched in amazement as Vraxxis landed a series of swift kicks and punches, sending Gabriel crashing to the floor.
"I think it's time we had a little chat, don't you, Gabriel?" Vraxxis said, his eyes glinting with triumph.
Gabriel struggled to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury. "You'll pay for this, Vraxxis," he snarled.
Vraxxis chuckled. "I'm shaking in my boots, Gabriel. But first, let's discuss the terms of our little... arrangement."
Aria's eyes narrowed as she watched Vraxxis and Gabriel. What was going on here? What kind of arrangement were they talking about?
As she listened, she realized that Vraxxis had been playing a long game all along. He had manipulated her into delivering the package, and now he was using it as leverage to force Gabriel into some kind of deal.
But what did Vraxxis hope to gain from this? And what would happen to her now that she had played her part in his plan?
