Chereads / Wrong Reincarnation [OIMUHCAW] / Chapter 23 - Elven Kingdom II

Chapter 23 - Elven Kingdom II

After my little confrontation with Idril, at least 10 heavily armed elves came to see what had happened. When they arrived, they were shocked by the scene Idril had made. They didn't see me, as I was wearing 'invisibility cloak'. Idril said something to them and sent them back. I assume she told them a lie. After they left, Idril led me to a new room and here we were: her on a big bed moaning like crazy and me listening to her ravings.

"Hey, are you still upset?"

Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!

"Ugh, really?"

Idril was crying like a little girl in bed and I just watched her. It wasn't my style to make women cry, so I said to her:

"Don't worry, when I leave the elven kingdom I will free you."

When I said those words, Idril's ears perked up quickly. Standing up from the bed, she turned around and looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"Oh really?"

Seeing her sweet face, I turned my head away. The crazy girl was very beautiful; if I let myself be seduced by her beauty, I was screwed. It made my heart go crazy for a few seconds.

"Yes, of course, I can modify the terms of the contract if you don't believe me."

Hearing my words, Idril's face changed from sad to a beautiful smile.

"Do it".

After that, I took out the contract and made certain modifications to it. The contract would only be valid as long as I did not leave the elven realm. Upon leaving the elven realm, the contract would be broken and Idril would be free, or rather, her body.

"Happy?"

"Yeah".

What a bothersome woman, I couldn't have her whining every minute. Truth be told, I didn't need her; when I left the elven realm, my strength would be on another level.

"But I still don't understand why people who have stipulated the same conditions have failed."

"It's because of the intention."

"Intention?"

"Yes, as the one who stipulated the terms and conditions of the contract, I am given the benefit of giving each word a specific intent. The contract, from the beginning, was made for my benefit. This type of contract requires me to explain to the other party, if they ask, of course, but since you didn't ask thoroughly, there was no need to tell you anything. The contract doesn't require me to force you to know the pros and cons of the contract."

"Then I..."

"That's right, you made a grave mistake: you interpreted the condition in your own way, but the contract stipulated something different. Our concepts of 'your body will become part of my property' were different from the beginning."

"But it's still strange; if contracts could be used that way, everyone would use them that way."

"Well, let's just say I'm probably the only one who can take advantage of that condition."

"Who came up with the idea?"

"That was my elementary's idea."

"How old is your elemental?"

Idril asked me a somewhat strange question; the age of an elemental... I didn't know the reason behind her question.

- OUR AGE EASILY EXCEEDS 10,000 YEARS.

'It's a joke?'

- NO.

'Well, I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that.'

- TELL HIM A LIE.

'Hey, what really happened to you?'

- I AM CURRENTLY DEVELOPING AN EGO.

'And that ego is feminine?'

- YEAH.

'Can you change it to be a man's ego?'

- IT IS POSSIBLE.

'Then do it.'

- A MALE EGO WILL DEVELOP.

- TWO EGOS WILL BE CREATED, ONE FEMALE AND ONE MALE.

'What the hell is wrong with you, D?'

'Seriously, we'll have a good talk about this later.'

D was out of control, he was doing whatever he wanted - ego creation, what the fuck is that? The reason I didn't want him to develop a female ego was simple: I didn't want to be scolded all the time. The old D was better, he didn't question my decisions, but this version of him even made fun of me. After thinking things through, I replied:

"The elemental is my age."

"Whaaat?"

Idril was cold upon hearing my statement. For a moment, I remained silent, thinking that I had made a mistake.

"W... w... how old are you?"

"5 years".

"Impossible".

"Well, that doesn't matter."

Seeing the surprised Idril, I cut her off; I was already tired of answering questions.

"Ask your people to bring me decent clothing and bring a book containing the Elvish language with illustrations of what each word means."

"Hey, do you know who I am? Am I?"

"I don't care who you are, Idril. To me, you're just a woman."

Idril's face turned bright red. It was the first time someone dared to treat her as an ordinary person, just another woman. After calming down a bit, Idril called a maid she trusted.

"Anna".

"My lady, what is it that you desire?"

"I want to give you a task, but I need you to carry it out quietly."

"Understood".

"I want you to go to the tailor and tell him to make a suit for one person."

"Is it for you, my lady?"

"No, it's for our guest over there."

Anna soon looked in the direction Idril pointed and soon her brown eyes opened wide. Sitting there was a human with white hair. She, upon entering the room, had looked closely and that human was not there when she entered. Anna's face was one of pure surprise.

"My lady, is that...?"

"Yes, he is a human and he is a guest. The suit is for him."

"But, my lady, that is..."

"Can I trust you, Anna?"

Seeing Idril's solemn face, Anna could not refuse; her loyalty to her mistress was greater than her hatred of humans. After a few moments, she said:

"Yes, ma'am, leave it to me."

"Oh, right, bring him a book containing our language; our guest wants to learn to speak it."

"Understood".

After finishing the talk, Anna approached the human and took the measurements she needed for the outfit. Idril told Anna that the outfit had to be black and without any enchantments. Everything was done to my liking. The reason I didn't let them enchant my clothes was simple: I didn't want any surprises. After taking my measurements, the elf maid left the room and came back after about 20 minutes with a book in her hands.

"As you asked, here you go."

I nodded at the elf maid's statement. I didn't know what she was telling me, but I could guess what she said. Receiving the book in my hands, I immediately sat up and opened it to read its contents. Shortly after, Anna spoke:

"My lady, anything else?"

"No, for now he remains silent about his existence."

"Understood, Madam Idril. Mr. Angrod recently inquired about the situation in your master bedroom."

"Don't worry about it, I'll explain later."

"I understand. With your permission, I'll be leaving."

Several hours had passed and she still hadn't reported to old man Angrod. She didn't know how to explain the situation to him. Idril turned her head to look at the human; there she saw him studying the elven language with a face of concentration.

"Hey, do you really think you can just learn our language all of a sudden?"

"Yes, don't bother me."

Idril stared at the human from her bed, who said his name was D. She looked at him for a long time; at some point she lost consciousness due to exhaustion.

"Seriously, what a stupid woman, how could she fall asleep with a stranger in her room?"

- WE SHOULD REST TOO. IDRIL'S COUP DRAMATICALLY WEAKENED US.

'I know'.

The blow from earlier almost killed me. What seemed to be a simple blow was, in fact, a powerful and lethal blow. I fought back with everything I had and it still made a hole in my stomach, and that flame surrounding Idril's fist turned my flesh into dust the instant it touched me. Looking at Idril, I said:

"Beautiful and dangerous."
