After reaching an agreement with the transparent mass, he began to speak to the elf girl:
- Young lady, this human will help you get home.
'Mr. Flurris, were you talking to that human?' the girl spoke in her shy voice.
- Yes, that human will be accompanying us to the entrance of the kingdom.
'Because?'
'I was told before that all humans were bad.'
'Isn't he bad?'
- All humans are evil, miss.
'So why do you let him accompany me to the entrance of the kingdom?'
'What's more, I want to know what you were talking to him about.'
'And why can a human talk to you?'
- Young lady, all you need to know is that this human has the strength to protect you.
'And what happened to the rules about not allowing help from humans?'
- Oh, well, you see, that...
'Mr. Flurris, I demand an explanation.'
The transparent mass did not want to give details of the human who had helped them, as doing so would mean giving details of how it suspected the human might be a hybrid between a human and an elf, a taboo in the elven realm. Flurris remained silent as he was bombarded with questions he could not answer.
'Hey elemental, we're leaving,' I cut off the conversation between the girl and the elemental. The reason was simple: something was approaching us very quickly.
- Don't interrupt, human.
'Shut up, something is coming and it's coming at an incredible speed.'
- Where?
'It's coming from there,' I pointed at the direction the thing was coming from. Whatever it was, it was using some skill, as I couldn't see its figure clearly. I doubted it had detected me, as I was using 'hide' since I killed the five guys earlier.
- Someone is certainly coming, they seem to be hiding their presence.
'We're leaving.'
Shortly after I told the elemental that something was coming our way, we set off towards the elven kingdom. I already knew where the kingdom was. D was doing an excellent job with the memories of the five corpses. As we set off, the girl stood behind me and the elemental stood to my right. In this way, we safely moved away from the area where the guys from earlier and the carriage had been. After 15 minutes, someone arrived at the location we had been at.
"What a bunch of idiots? Did they really let themselves get caught?"
The guy had black hair and his face was full of thick veins. The guy looked at the scene before him, he couldn't help but get angrier and angrier. They had wasted a fortune with this flaw.
"Damn iteeeeeeeeeeee!"
A loud scream echoed throughout the area and a tremendous amount of mana emerged from the subject. The ground around him trembled and the trees shook. Shortly after he calmed down, he took out a transparent orb. After a few seconds, the orb began to glow faintly. A smile was etched on the individual's face and all of his bad mood seemed to be gone.
"Phew, I still have hope, they are close."
Shortly after saying that, the individual's muscles gradually began to swell, and like a bullet, he shot off in the direction of the elven kingdom. As the sun began to set on the horizon, the group of three individuals advanced at a slow but steady pace.
'Tsk, hey, elemental, get ready, it's coming.'
- I know, human, I can feel it.
A few seconds after the elemental's declaration, a tall, burly figure appeared. We all turned to face the guy. Seeing him, the elf girl fell to the ground and dove on top of him. The elemental immediately began gathering mana and I just stared at the guy in front of me.
"Wow, I'm glad I found you."
The guy spoke, he had a big smile on his face, he was scanning us from head to toe, he was looking at us like we were valuables.
"How strange, only two children and the elemental that was hidden in the girl."
"How the hell did you get away from my men?"
"Rather, where are my subordinates?"
The guy kept talking, he was happy. I could understand the bastard, clearly. This was the first time I heard a human from this planet speak and I could understand what he was saying. Stepping forward, I said:
"Hello, nice to meet you, my dear. Regarding your question of how we escaped from your subordinates, it's simple: I killed them all."
The man stared at me and soon became angry, his face was covered in veins, he was about to explode. He believed my statement quickly and the reason was simple: I was wearing his subordinate's robe and the edges of it were stained with blood.
"I see, you are some kind of humanoid monster that can speak our language."
"You offend me."
"Did you kill them all?"
"Yeah, and you're in luck, I'm not going to kill you, I'm going to beat you up and make you take me to the city where you live."
"Hahahahaha, damn it."
The guy's anger was reaching its limit. I realized that further provoking him would be counterproductive.
'Hey, elemental, keep going.'
- Stupid, if we don't join forces, we'll fall in a matter of seconds.
- That human has a staff that allows him to hurt elementals.
'He says get out of this place, we'll catch up with you later.'
- What a stubborn elementary.
As I was talking to the elemental, the guy pulled out a wooden staff out of nowhere and, without saying a word, charged at us. He was very fast.
- There it comes.
'I know.'
In an instant, the guy was in front of me and gave me a powerful kick that sent me flying several meters away. The kick broke multiple bones and, shortly after, I crashed into a tree.
"You're next, you fucking elemental."
Pointing the staff at the elemental, the subject muttered 'spread out' and the staff grew rapidly. The staff landed a clean hit on the wind elemental.
- Ugh, that damn staff again.
The blow of the staff knocked the elemental back. The subject now stood in front of the elf girl.
"Hahahahaha, how funny, did you shit your pants?"
The subject, now that he had connected his attacks, was confident of his victory.
"You gave me quite a scare, you bastards."
"????"
The guy's smile quickly disappeared. Well, it was understandable, he saw me stand up after the kick he gave me.
"What the fuck? How can you still move?"
"Ha, it was just a kick, what are you surprised about?"
"Tsk, so you're one of those tough guys to kill."
"You could say so."
'Are you OK?'
'Yes, he didn't do anything to me.'
'What's wrong with you, elemental? Why didn't you attack him?'
- It's because of his staff, it has a strange power that makes me lose the energy I accumulate, even if he doesn't hit me with it.
'I see, since you're not useful, can you go ahead?'
- Is that elemental sure about this?
'He says yes, he told me that human is no match for him, even with his staff.'
- Okay, I'll take the princess with me.
'Give me a second, I'm going to get him away from her.'
- Understood.
After my statement, I activated 'Wind Boost'. With D's help, I instantly arrived in front of the guy and proceeded to land a punch.
Boom!
"Ugh."
Boom!
He received a direct blow to the abdomen. The force of the blow sent him flying several meters until he crashed into a tree. The girl's face was one of pure confusion and fear; she did not understand what had happened.
- But what...
- That...
- What kind of elemental are you?
The elemental couldn't believe what he had just witnessed. He couldn't detect the slightest trace of mana in the attack that was executed in front of him. Being an elemental, he was extremely sensitive to mana, so for him to not be able to detect the use of mana, only two options came to mind: either no mana was used, or the elemental was of a higher tier than his own.
