After an exhilarating hike and enjoying the breathtaking views, Zeyu and Kailu finally decided to head home. Kailu, riding his motorcycle, offered to take Zeyu back.
As they cruised down the quiet city streets, they suddenly spotted a girl standing by the roadside, looking frantic. She appeared to be searching for something, her expression filled with distress.
Kailu immediately stopped the motorcycle, and both he and Zeyu got off.
"What's wrong? Why do you look so panicked?" Kailu asked with concern.
The girl turned to them, her voice trembling. "Two thieves just stole my bag! Inside it was a piece of jewelry my mother gave me for my birthday a few days ago…"
Zeyu and Kailu exchanged glances before Kailu spoke with determination, "Alright, wait here. We'll get your bag back!"
Without hesitation, they sprinted in pursuit of the thieves.
"Do you even know what they look like?" Zeyu asked as they ran.
"Of course!" Kailu pointed ahead. "See that black motorcycle? They're driving recklessly—that has to be them!"
The black motorcycle sped through the streets, trying to disappear into the night. But Kailu wasn't about to let them escape. He quickly revved up his bike, and he and Zeyu raced after them.
After a few intense minutes, they managed to cut them off at a deserted intersection.
Kailu stepped forward and shouted, "Give back the girl's bag!"
The two men on the black motorcycle sneered. One of them, wearing a torn leather jacket, smirked. "Just two kids? Stay out of our business!"
Without warning, one of the thieves lunged at Kailu, initiating a fight.
Zeyu was knocked down during the scuffle, but Kailu quickly covered for him. They strategized, and finally, Kailu stepped onto Zeyu's back for leverage, leaped into the air, and delivered a powerful kick straight to the thief's face!
The thief staggered backward, dazed. His partner panicked. "Damn it! Grab the bag and let's go!" he yelled.
But it was too late. Kailu swiftly snatched the bag before they could flee. Realizing they were outmatched, the two thieves scrambled onto their motorcycle and sped away.
Zeyu let out a relieved sigh. "That was close…"
Kailu grinned, holding up the stolen bag. "Let's return this."
They hurried back to where the girl was waiting. As soon as she saw her bag, her face lit up with relief.
"Here's your bag," Kailu said, handing it to her.
She clutched it tightly, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you so much! You really saved me!"
"It's nothing," Kailu replied casually. "People should help each other."
The girl smiled warmly. "My name is Yuke. Thank you again for your help. It's nice to meet you."
Kailu nodded. "I'm Kailu, and this is Zeyu. Nice to meet you too, Yuke.
Yuke smiled before saying, "I have to go now. Take care!"
"You too, be careful!" Kailu responded.
After Yuke left, Zeyu and Kailu resumed their journey home. What had started as an ordinary day turned into an adventure that neither of them had expected.
When they finally arrived safely, Zeyu looked up at the night sky and smiled. Today, he had made yet another unforgettable memory.
