After their encounter with Zulian and Aline, Zeyu, Kailu, and Yuke felt relieved to have found new reliable allies. They spent time chatting at a small tea house in the corner of the city. While enjoying warm tea, they discussed the recent incident and planned their next steps.
"I still can't believe those thieves dared to come back with their boss," Kailu said, crossing his arms.
"And I didn't expect anyone else to show up and help," Zeyu added, glancing at Zulian and Aline.
"We just happened to be nearby," Zulian replied with a smile. "And honestly, if we hadn't stepped in, you guys might have been in big trouble."
Yuke lowered his head slightly. "I really don't want to think about what would've happened if you hadn't come..."
Aline patted Yuke's shoulder gently. "It's okay. The important thing is that we're all safe now."
Despite the relaxed atmosphere, Kailu still felt uneasy. "I have a bad feeling about this," he said suddenly.
Zeyu turned to him. "What do you mean?"
"I'm sure Gu Renjun won't just sit back after his defeat. He will definitely seek revenge," Kailu said seriously.
Zulian nodded. "I agree. And not just Gu Renjun… there's someone even more dangerous who might get involved."
Yuke swallowed nervously. "Someone more dangerous? Who?"
Zulian sighed. "His name is Alizer."
Hearing that name, Aline's expression turned more serious. "So he's really around here?"
"Who is Alizer?" Zeyu asked, unfamiliar with the name.
Zulian set his teacup down on the table and looked at them one by one. "Alizer is no ordinary person. He's stronger than Gu Renjun and fights in a calm yet deadly manner. No one knows where he came from, but one thing is certain—he doesn't need weapons. He fights with his bare hands and can take down anyone in seconds."
Kailu clenched his fists. "That means we're in even bigger trouble."
Elsewhere, inside a dimly lit abandoned warehouse, Gu Renjun stood with an expression full of rage. He had just returned from an embarrassing defeat, and now he had to face someone he couldn't afford to ignore Alizer.
In front of him, Alizer stood casually. The man with white hair streaked with red looked completely unfazed, almost as if he didn't care about Gu Renjun's anger.
"You look frustrated." Alizer said in a relaxed tone.
"Don't joke around, Alizer!" Gu Renjun snapped. "Those brats are becoming a nuisance. They even have new friends who are quite strong!"
Alizer simply gave a slight smile. "So? You want me to step in?"
Gu Renjun clenched his fists. "Of course! I won't let them keep interfering with my plans!"
Alizer shrugged and slowly walked toward Gu Renjun. "I'll only make a move if it's interesting. If they're strong enough, maybe I'll have some fun."
Gu Renjun glared at him. "I don't need your excuses to have fun! I want them eliminated!"
Alizer chuckled. "Don't worry. I'll take care of them… in my own way."
Meanwhile, at the tea house, Zeyu, Kailu, Yuke, Zulian, and Aline continued discussing their situation.
"We need to prepare," Zeyu said. "If Alizer really gets involved, we can't afford to underestimate him."
Kailu nodded. "I agree. We don't know when they'll attack, but it's better to be ready."
Zulian smirked. "If you want, Aline and I can help you train."
"Seriously?" Yuke asked, eyes lighting up.
Aline nodded. "Of course. You'll need more strength if you want to survive against them."
Zeyu looked at each of them, then clenched his fists with determination. "Alright… starting tomorrow, we train. We need to be ready for whatever comes next."
They all nodded, realizing that their battle wasn't over yet. In fact, it was just beginning.
In the distance, without their knowledge, someone was watching them from the shadows.
To be continued…
