The next day around 5am, Rodiku sat on his bed with the rectangular box on his lap.
He opened it to see what it contained , even though he knew what it's contents were.
He took out a short sleeve shirt and a pair of shorts.
The shirt had a dominant wine color with gold and black on it's edges, making it look magnificent and expensive.
The shorts on the other hand was mainly black with only gold color making out the edges.
After taking note of all the details, he dropped it and brought out a black screened watch - like device.
He already knew what it was as he had seen it a couple of times on the hand of orphans, who already entered high school and came for a visit .
He also overheard it's uses when they explained it to the kids in the most fascinating way, in a bid to make them look cool in the eyes of the kids.
Even so, he had never used it before since he was now entering high school.
The device serves many purposes like for map, time, calls, internet browsing, tracking, purchases in school, teacher - student connection, access to facilities, student guide and many more.
It was quite an advance piece of technology manufactured for the school.
As soon as he touched the screen, it displayed [ CSA ] , after which it displayed [ MENU ] [ S.A.D. status ] .
' Hmph! High school, not cool ', Rodiku scoffed, trying his best not to be impressed by the piece of tech as he wore it.
He wore his uniform as well, after which he left the room.
As he descended the stairs, he felt sharp stares aiming at him but he was all too used to it to be bothered in the least.
He walked diligently amidst the many stares and shocked looks.
Even when he exited the building, he noticed the same reaction from both adults and peers. Some glared in disgust whiles the masses stared either in shock or confusion.
Their shock was justified as Rodiku's appearance alone was enough reason to be shocked.
For the first time in almost three years, his hair was well dressed and cared for.
Not to talk of how elegant he looked in the magnificent uniform.
His eyes were brimming with so much energy unlike the usual dullness.
Most of his peers couldn't believe that was actually Rodiku in front of them.
Also, the manner in which he walked was just too elegant to believe that was Rodiku.
Though, all these didn't change the fact that he was bony since he kept refusing to eat properly.
Even still, if not for his powerlessness, he would've been a chick magnet.
In a few, Rodiku was sitting in front of Master Yung.
They had a little conversation after which Master Yung gave Rodiku a word of advice.
' I know you're not the troublesome type so I'll end it here. But please, work hard and come out on top. Even if you lack in ability related courses, make sure you break the academic records of the school. I know you can do that, unless you didn't want to ', Master Yung adviced.
' Sure, old man. Whatever you say. Can I leave now ', Rodiku said impatiently as he rose from his seat.
' Why does it look like you're more excited about school than before ', Master Yung asked with a look of suspicion.
' Stop imagining things old man. I'm not. I just want to get out of here that bad ', he replied with a poker face.
' Okay, if you say so ', Master Yung said with a teasing smile.
' Why you... Ohhh, I see what you're doing. Good bye, Master Yung ', he said before walking out without being dismissed.
After he left, Master Yung shook his head and smiled like a proud father.
Coincidentally, Rodiku also had a slight smile on his face as he left Master Yung's office.
It was quite unusual of him to smile.
In no time, the smile disappeared as he met some workers who gave him looks that said, ' why are you still alive ', ' drop dead already '.
Rodiku never spares anyone a glance but somehow he is always able to see their looks and the thoughts behind them.
As usual, he just ignored them knowing it kills them more than anything to be ignored by the so called trash.
After he got out of the orphanage, he saw a 4×4 type truck waiting for him.
He quickly took his sit and the driver took off.
There was no exchange of greetings or anything of that sort.
Rodiku was slightly surprised that the man wasn't bothered in the least about he not greeting him .
He wore a poker face just like Rodiku, making Rodiku slightly interested in knowing who he was.
Of course, Rodiku didn't utter a word.
After what seemed like twenty minutes, they finally entered town since the orphanage was in the country sides of Ceralom city.
Core Stars Academy was located in a neighboring city called Alvan city.
Both cities were in the Star kingdom of the Sapha nation.
After two hours of driving, they arrived at the eastern bother of Alvan city.
From there to CSA was just a forty five minute drive.
Alvan city was quite big as it was twice the size of Ceralom city.
Before too long, they had reached the school and parked in one of the parking spots in the school.
The driver didn't even spare Rodiku a glance as he tapped on the stirring wheel impatiently, signaling Rodiku to get lost.
Rodiku smiled slightly before getting out.
He slightly felt the way the adults at the orphanage felt when he ignored them, which made him feel a bit happy knowing they deserved more than that.
Once they reached the school, Rodiku's Student Aid Device activated student guide which directed him to the administration block. As soon as he entered the building, his S.A.D displayed [ no.16 ] , which was the office he had been appointed to enter.
In no time, Rodiku was sitting in front of a beautiful young lady who didn't seem to be a year over twenty seven.
She had a long scarlet hair that reached her waist and she was clad in a white long sleeve shirt and a tight black skirt.
She was quite the beauty but of course, Rodiku was either too young or too care less to notice it.
It was probably the first since he was still just thirteen , making him one of the youngest if not the youngest in the school.
She asked him a few questions which he answered, after which she asked him to place his left hand on a square device on her desk.
It scanned his S.A.D. and signed it into the school's system before assigning him a class.
In a few, he was following directions from his S.A.D towards the boys dormitory.
According to the lady who registered him, he was late for class so he would have to wait for the next day.
Class started strictly at 7:00 am and it was already 8:21 am.
So he was going to check out his room and belongings.
He stood in front of the triple ten storey building in amazement.
His S.A.D displayed [ Room no.312 ] , which was on the sixth floor.
So he quickly entered an elevator and ascended to the sixth floor in a few seconds.
When he got to the twelfth room on the row, he saw R.312 on the door.
His S.A.D quickly gave him access to the room, as the door slid open.
Initially, he thought the four in a room setting would be a problem but now he had a change of opinion.
' What the fuck! This... This is like eight of my room combined . This is more than enough space ', he was surprised to the extent of cursing.
' I guess I admit, the damn school is impressive. Minus all the a**holes ,it should be a nice school ', he said with a visible smile on his face.
He quickly accessed his closet and opened it.
It was filled with new clothes and shoes and other dressing accessories as well.
Then he remembered Master Yung saying, ' ... don't worry, you don't need to take any of your clothes along. I have already dealt with it. Just prepare your mind for...'.
' Hm, the old man over did it this time. Did all the orphans get such clothes or just me. I wonder why he cares so much ', he thought whiles he browsed through his new set of clothes.
After inspecting his shoes and other foot wares as well as the other things in his closet, he quickly changed up.
He was now in a sea blue hoodie and a white jeans shorts.
He left his room as he had decided to explore the various places on the school map except for the area for academics.
He visited the school sports fields, hospital, market, cinema, battle and sparring fields and many more.
He even visited the girls dormitory, though he sighted it from a distance.
He was not getting into trouble on his first day since the girls dormitory was off limits for all boys.
Whiles he roamed and explored the school , he noticed others who he assumed were also students who came in late like him and had to wait till tomorrow before they could attend classes.
He finally decided to visit the school's forestry reserves. It was so thick even from the front.
He entered deeper as he saw the forest to be quite eye catching.
' As expected of the best school in the Star kingdom. Such a massive forest in a school, hm ', he couldn't help but praise the school which was quite unusual of him.
As he thought the sounds of birds and insects was the loudest sounds that could be heard in this rather quiet and serene environment, he heard a sound that attracted his attention.
' Lightening style! Flaker bombs! ' ' Earth style! Shell wall! '
'BOOM! ' ' BANG! ' ' CRACK! ' ' BOOM! '
The next thing, Rodiku found himself rushing over towards the direction of the sounds of battle.
A few seconds of running and he could see smoke, dust and debris all over a particular area ahead of him.
He didn't really know how they would react to his presence so once he was close enough to see the two boys, he climbed up a tree.
He had a clear view of the fight from up there, thanks to his brains.
' I admit Lenox, you got twice as strong as your previous self but still,hahaha... It's still too easy! ', a boy who stood 5 feet with blue hair and bright blue eyes stared down at another boy with a short blonde hair who was on his knees whiles panting heavily.
' Fuck you Jin. How much gap is there between our power levels? ', Lenox cursed in frustration.
' Hahahaha! You're not the only one training bro. You've reached my old power level but unfortunately for you I also advanced ', Jin answered in laughter.
At this point, Rodiku knew it was just a friendly spar and not some death match or something.
' You think I didn't expect that? You're ahead of me in power level but I'm ahead of you in intelligence ', Lenox stated with a slight smirk on his face.
' I don't understand what... Wait a minute...You ... Shit! ', Jin cursed in realization.
He couldn't move his body as blood oozed out of his joints when he forced to move them.
' Joints paralysis complete. Hahahaha! Who's laughing now? Hahahaha ', Lenox couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably.
