Somewhere within the first years cafeteria, three boys sat around a table with varieties of dishes before them.
To be specific, most of it was in front of a boy with short blonde hair.
The three were non other than Rodiku, Lenox and Jin.
They were having breakfast, just like everyone else though the same couldn't be said about Lenox.
He was literally having a whole feast instead of breakfast.
' Did you have to order all of these? Everyone's looking at us ', Jin complained in annoyance.
' Quit complaining. Food is very important as my old man always says, Lenox you must eat till all your EEC layers break up ', Lenox replied with a joy filled smile whiles staring at the mountains of food before him.
' Honestly, that's the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time ', Rodiku said, feeling like Lenox wasn't making any sense.
' Sigh! What a foodie ', Jin had to drop it, seeing that Lenox didn't give a damn about what he or anyone else thought about his appetite.
They were eating whiles chatting, obviously about unimportant things.
FWOOMMMM! BAM! CRACK! BOOM!
They were still talking when they saw a boy thrusting through the air with his back speedily reaching the wall.
His back slammed into the wall, releasing sounds that suggested bones breaking and wall cracking.
Just then, a yellow energy ball formed on his belly region.
The boy who was half burried in the wall was suddenly exploded alongside the wall he was buried in.
The force from the explosion flang him out of the cafeteria as it blew the wall into dust and debris.
At this point, that side of the cafeteria was trembling as the residue energy from the explosion spread across the cafeteria.
' What just happened?'
' Who the fuck was that dude? '
' That guy is definitely dead '
' Which prick broke the wall! '
The students voiced out their thoughts.
The wall automatically repaired it's self after the damage.
That was another one of the technologies obtained from a high ranked hybrid earth style user.
Ta!.. Ta!.. Ta!.. Ta!..
The sound of footsteps was heard coming from the stairways, which was where the boy came flying from.
Everyone around that side was staring at the stairways, waiting for the owner of the footsteps.
FWOOMMMM! SWEEESHH! BOOM!
Unexpectedly, another boy came flying uncontrollably from the stairways, aiming for the same spot as the first boy.
As soon as he reached the wall, yellow energy waves enveloped the entirety of his body.
It shot him out like a laser beam, followed by a loud explosion.
At this point, most of the students were intimidated.
Of course, Rodiku and his pals weren't scared in the slightest.
Ta!.. Ta!.. Ta!..
After a few more steps, the one who was responsible for causing all this drama was in sight.
It was a boy with yellow spiky hair and black pupils with golden irises.
' ??? '
' Huh? '
' ??? '
Everyone around Jin turned to glare at him with stunned faces.
' What the!? Is it just me or..', Rodiku asked also with an intrigued look.
' That's my twin ', Jin answered with his eyebrows creased in annoyance.
' I'm very sorry for the disturbance, my bad. They were just so annoying and I didn't like the tone they took with me. Peasants, all of them. Please ignore me and go back to eating. Again, I'm very sorry ', the boy said in a calm tone, yet, it was heard by everyone.
Something about this boy wasn't right.
Even the troublesome boys in the cafeteria felt some warning from his presence.
When they scanned his SAD, it displayed [ ??? ] just like Rodiku.
This made them believe he wasn't some regular folk.
They all let it slide and went back to doing whatever they were doing before the previous scenes.
Though, they sneakily stole glances at Rodiku's table, where the boy sat.
' What are you doing here, Jim ', Jin asked with an annoyed expression.
' Chill out bro, is this how you welcome your twinie ', Jim said with an obviously fake sad look on his face.
' Quit the act! What do you want!?', Jin seemed to be heated at the moment.
' Eh? This guy is only delta ranked and I hear he is your friend. What could you possibly get from him ', Jim said , pointing at Lenox and completely ignoring Jin's question.
' Tch ', Jin felt like he couldn't take it anymore.
' Eh!? This one is... Powerless. Hahahaha! ', Jim couldn't help but laugh out loud after seeing that Rodiku had no ability.
' He must be here due to his intelligence ', Jim figured.
Looking at how Jin stared daggers at him, he decided to spill the bean.
' I suggested to dad that he should allow me to come study you over here. If I deem you worthy, you will be allowed to join the family's realm explorers division. But, you know what happens if I report you to be the dweeb you've always been right? Anyway, I've missed your weak ass so much. I want you there with me when scouting other realms. But only so that our parents will continue to see how better I am compared to you. I was planning on just leaving with you today and reporting a pass but, seeing this weak friends of yours, I'm starting to think you're still a weak ass dweeb. If you think you're no more weak, then prove it ', Jim revealed lengthily.
Jin remained silent for several seconds without uttering a word.
After a minute, Lenox broke the silence.
' Who do you think you are calling my best buddy a dweeb, dweeb? I'm sure he's a few minutes older than you, be respectful ', Lenox refuted.
' Eh? Your best buddy? A weakling like you calling yourself his best buddy? Do you know who he is? Do you know what family he... '
' Shut up! You can get lost and report whatever you want. What makes you think I'll try to prove anything to a spoiled brat like you. We're leaving guys ', Jin stated before rising from his seat in a bid to leave.
' Go fuck yourself dummy ', Lenox added before joining Jin.
' Okay dude ',Rodiku who had been quiet all this while finally spoke as he stood to his feet.
The trio were walking away when Jin stopped and turned to give Jim a stare.
It was as though he heard Jim call out his name, the way he stopped .
After a short stare, he continued to walk away with his pals by his side.
' Hmm... Hurry up with it. I'm leaving tomorrow, and I hope to leave with you. I know you'll do it ', Jim muttered underneath his breath before standing to take his leave as well.
The three friends after leaving the cafeteria, decided to take a walk, whiles Jin gave out more information about the issue at hand.
' ... And he came all the way here? How important is this thing? ', Lenox asked.
' It's very important. How come you don't have much idea about these things, Lenox? ', Rodiku chimed in.
' Rodiku is right. The Houga family since five hundred years ago have been very influential in the knight force of the South Nations Alliance. The Houga family is the leading division amongst the realm explorers division. That's why the family is famous nationwide. So for a member to... ', Jin kept enlightening them on his family's stand and job.
( I will explain everything about the divisions and their roles. I'm also going to list out all the nations and their kingdoms in the next chapter. That should rid readers of confusion )
Jin had filled his friends in on everything concerning the incidence at the cafeteria and they understood everything.
Soon it was break over and they all returned to their classes after agreeing not to go to the cafeteria for lunch in other to avoid Jim.
Rodiku was now back in class, where Mr. Inkoy was taking them through the second lesson for the day.
Of course he was bored, since he already treated the topic with the little time they had before first break.
Mr. Inkoy noticed everyone was quite and focused in the class and he was happy about that.
Well, everyone except Rodiku who was taking a nap.
He had been overtaken by boredom and was sleep with his head on the table.
A few others wanted to sleep as well but looking at how Mr. Inkoy occasionally glared at the sleeping Rodiku, they knew punishments would come later on.
After sleeping for over an hour, Rodiku woke up only to see everyone going out of the class.
' Hmm? Goodness, it must be lunch already. Well, it was better than this boring lesson ', he thought whiles checking his surroundings.
He went out expecting to see both Jin and Lenox.
Just as he expected, they were both waiting at the corridor.
They left for lunch outside in town.
Jin decided they should have lunch at Aqua Door Restaurant.
It was a massive restaurant in the Get Fund hotel.
The restaurant was designed to give an aquatic vibe with blue being the dominant color.
There were massive aquariums all over the place with the gap between them serving as footpaths to different places in the restaurant.
The beauty of the aquatic lifes in the aquariums combined with the lighting systems made the place a true Atlantis.
Anyone who came to eat at this restaurant was going to use up a lot of money due to all the dishes on their menu being exotic foods.
That made Rodiku complain about Jin taking them there.
Food for the three of them would cost no less than 30000 rad which was no money to scoff at, especially given that it's just for food.
Not to talk of Lenox being such a foodie who wouldn't hold back.
Of course, it wasn't a problem for Jin so he insisted on them going to eat over there.
In a few, the three friends were sitting behind a white triangular table with several dishes before them.
Again, most of it was in front of Lenox who looked at the varieties of food in exhilaration.
Soon they were digging in, making sure not to lay waste any of it.
They had a chat as they ate.
In a while, they were headed back to the school in a black limousine-like public transport car.
Jin spent 60000rad on their food and 20000 rad on transport but of course he didn't let them know about it since he personally did all the paying.
In a few, they had returned to the school and were on their way to class.
' Thanks for the treats,bro '.
' Yeah, thanks a lot '.
Both Lenox and Rodiku showed appreciation, which kinda took Jin by surprise.
' Eh? Come on, don't be like that ', Jin said whiles rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.
' We're bros now. Besides, it's good to put some of that money to use now. I don't remember the last time I even spent from that account ', he added.
They all went back to class.
It was currently 1 : 00 pm and the final lesson for the day had began.
Just like the previous one, Rodiku felt so bored but this time he didn't sleep.
Especially not after he noticed the teacher give him a death stare the moment he tried putting his head down.
The final lesson was about, geographical mapping.
He knew way more than the teacher was teaching, which made him feel like he was wasting his time.
But who was he to complain, unless he had a death wish.
After a long boring class, at least from Rodiku's perspective, the alarm went off for closing.
He took his bag and walked out, just like everyone else.
This time, he was the one who waited for Jin and Lenox who also walked out of their class a minute later.
Together, the three of them walked back to the dormitory, having several chats before finally arriving there.
They quickly took the elevator to room 312, which was their home sweet home.
At least for now.
After changing up, they decided to play some video games.
They played together, with Rodiku winning most of the time.
He had surpassed Lenox, his teacher.
After playing for a while, they decided to go spar deep within the forest like they did yesterday.
So they prepared and left for the forest.
It was a massive forest that stretched for several kilo meters.
They moved deep within the forest where they could cause havoc and get away with it.
They had reached seventy meters within the forest and they were still going deeper.
' ...that won't work out. I tried it once. Ladies are just so weird ', Jin said as they walked.
' Even with your looks, you have a problem with chicks. I'm definitely going to die a virgin. It's not bad though ', Rodiku muttered with a poker face.
He couldn't care any less about females.
' Hahahaha! ', Lenox laughed his heart out, seeing how all three of them were bad with ladies.
After walking ten feet forward, Lenox realized Jin wasn't in their midst.
SHHWEEEH!
The next thing he heard was the sound of compressed lightning energy thrusting towards him.
' You sneaky cheater. Attacking before the match began ' , Lenox thought as he neutralized the attack by sinking quick into the ground and reappearing after Jin missed on his sneak attack.
' What the? These two are monsters. When did the fight even begin? I better give them some space for my own good ', Rodiku thought before running off to leave some space between himself and those two.
FWOOMMMM! SWWEEESHH! BAM! CRACK!
Rodiku heard sounds of collision and rock breaking before reaching a safe distance and turning to spectate the battle.
' Huh? ', he couldn't understand the scene playing out before his eyes.
Forty feet in front of him, he could see Lenox standing with both hands clasped together.
Blood leaked from the sides of his mouth, dripping onto the ground.
Behind him was a wall made of earth, which he probably erected by clasping both hands.
What startled Rodiku the most, was the hand that had burst through his chest, whiles holding a blood covered organ in it's grip.
Lenox had a look of betrayal imprinted on his face as his lifeless body stood hanging on the hand.
Just then, the hand retracted forcibly still with the organ in it's grip.
Lenox's body fell onto the ground lifelessly.
At this point, Rodiku had a look of horror on his face.
The terror he felt sent chills down his spine, causing him to freeze in his joints.
A boy with blue spiky hair and bright blue eyes walked from behind the earth wall with a blood covered organ in his grip.
SQUASH!
This boy squashed the organ in his grip into shreds before dropping it all.
' Jin ', this was the only word on Rodiku's mind at the moment.
He had frozen in place from sheer horror with his pupils shaking in dread.
FWOOMM! PAH! PAH! PAH! PAH!
Rodiku suddenly took off, sprinting into the distance.
' Eh? ', Jin was in shock, seeing Rodiku's sudden reaction which he did not anticipate.
Rodiku was sprinting at the fastest he had ever ran with his heart beating two times it's usual speed.
His eyes were still wide open in shock as he sped his way through the forest.
He was acting on his sheer will to survive.
His mind it's self was still frozen from fear.
Suddenly, a blue lightning streaked pass him and stopped ahead of him.
It then appeared to be Jin.
Rodiku was about to change trajectory when blue energy balls suddenly appeared all around him.
' Fuck! ', Rodiku cursed the moment his mind came out of shock.
Then, in an instant.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!...
Several barrages of explosions rang out, encapsulating everything within a radius of fifty feet.
Rodiku was completely enveloped in the explosion.
Just then.
[ Host has been exposed to death ]
[ Does host wish to survive? ]
' Huh? What's this? Am I tripping again? Is this what everyone sees before dying? What does it matter. Yes ', Rodiku thought before answering.
[ Does host wish to activate system interface? ]
[ Yes ] [ No ]
[ Failure to activate system interface will result in immediate death ]
' What the!? Fine, yes ', Rodiku answered.
[ Host has activated system interface ]
[ Congratulations on receiving the system trigger cell ' lawlessness ' ]
[ Host is in the grasp of death ]
[ Does host wish to terminate life threat? ]
' Yes! ', Rodiku exclaimed, thinking about nothing but survival.
[ Starting gift from the system TCL - life saver (-50000 Exp) ]
[ Does host accept the gift? ]
[ Yes ] [ No ]
' Yes ', Rodiku answered.

' Yes ', Rodiku answered without understanding a single thing.

After the massive explosion, Jin turned to leave.
Suddenly, a dense presence popped out of nowhere.
The pressure it released alone was making the winds unstable and the earth tremble.
' What on earth? ', Jin thought as wild winds threatened to blow his body away.
His eyes squinted as he saw a figure coming out of the center of his explosion site.
' Huh? ', he couldn't understand what he saw before his eyes.
A boy with pitch black body with dark blue energy flowing out of several parts walked out of the six feet crater created from the initial explosion.
His eyes glowed dark purple with purple lines streaking out as he moved forward.
Jin tried so many times to move but it was as if his own body had abandoned his will.
His body had frozen in fear and terror.
This being that approached him carried a presence that pierced through every fiber of his being.
It was as though all of his cells had been dominated by the presence of this boy.
The boy walked pass him without sparing him a single glance.
After passing by him, the boy spoke.
' Incinerate ', he commanded before disappearing.
Jin's body erupted several waves of purple energy before burning inside out.
The energy burnt immensely, sparing no cell in his body.
In a few seconds, Jin's entire body had been burnt out of existence.
The same thing occured forty meters away from Jin's location.
Lenox who's body laid lifeless on the ground had waves of purple energy erupting out of his body.
The energy burnt his body from the inside out until he completely disappeared.
The bodies of both Jin and Lenox appeared in a different part of the forest with their bodies looking so battered and torn up as though they died having an intense battle.
