-Cardinal World-

Of all the worlds created by Veldanava, the Star Dragon King, the central world, or Cardinal World if one may, was the one that drew the most attention in all of creation.

Maybe it was because the creator spent a lot of time on it, watching its evolution closely.

Not because of preference or anything like that; after all, such a feeling, rather emotion, is not allowed for someone like a creator.

In his eyes. Everything should be loved equally.

Or was that what he thought when he enacted his will in the creation of the world and its system?

Maybe the "potential" loving Creator was simply enthralled by the potential this world in particular has.

Its laws were unlike those governing his other creations. They were volatile, and almost palpable here.

Not to say that other worlds besides this place lacked their own unique rules or laws that governed their world or something.

In fact, it was different.

They too had the potential of interfering with the laws of the world; moreover, the concept of technology, which he had brief knowledge about, saw it as an interesting concept.

But one could say. That the rules, laws, whatever it was in place here had surpassed those of the other worlds, more close than anything here.

Yes. The mere idea of something like that had brought joy to the creator.

The mere idea that the beings he created could wield powers that interfered with laws itself.

Wielding a power near to which he created was something the Dragon King looked forward to.

Certainly. He could have done otherwise, but to the all-knowing deity, the prospect of looking forward to something he didn't know gave him a different feeling, to say the least.

Hence. One could say the Dragon King had indulged in it.

Certainly, as it would be too boring and spoil the fun he would have looked upon the world further with his omniscience.

However, he didn't want that.

Thus, the almighty discarded had his authority of omnipotence and omniscience into fragments of those two great powers.

And, even with this, he still possessed enough power to shape the world as he liked.

Not that this was still enough for the Dragon King.

If one were to review the history of the Cardinal World, one would know when its most chaotic period was.

Of course, not that the coming future… things wouldn't get out of hand.

After all, no matter the era, somehow, some way, there was always someone or something competing for either one goal or the other.

The first was undeniably the Titan King's rampage.

Where it came from was unknown, but it had undoubtedly wreaked havoc upon the land.

This caused the earth to have been split into different lands that would be known as continents in the future.

It was not for nothing he was known as the Mad King.

The Queen of Spirits—Administrator of Stars. Veldanava's Angels, and even some Demons—had tried subduing him, but no one could match his strength and extreme violence.

It could be said that it was necessary for the Creator himself to intervene to put a stop to his tyranny.

It was a struggle for beings who roamed around the Cardinal World back then.

But the second was like a trigger for the most chaotic events that would happen and continue to haunt the world till its future point.

The creation of the Divine Ancestor, one who would be known. His name associated with the extreme violence that would be caused by his future spawns.

-Heavenly Star Palace-

It was in the Heavenly Star Palace, the birthplace and centre of all creation.

Where Veldanava, with the help of the angels, had begun to create life.

The one who was to inherit his job and spread their offspring around the special world he had created to populate it.

Angels, as spiritual lifeforms, did not qualify for this.

They were separated from the Great Holy Spirit of Light itself, so it wasn't surprising much.

As for the material world or physical world—

Veldanava had to observe the slow development of the species in that world.

And even after their development, they only acted plainly on their instinct and much less on their conscience.

This wasn't what the Star King wanted.

Sure, it was fun at first to watch their development; now it feels not so fun anymore.

The one time he had hope for the world was when the True Giants emerged from the depths of the earth.

Of course. It amused him to no end, so to speak.

Their bipedal forms were just like his and the angels, very much to his liking.

Not only that, they were also strong and intelligent, with a high index of intelligence and learning ability.

Of course, Veldanava was happy with these creatures and had high hopes for them.

Yet. Little did he know that these beings were the most cruel and violent creatures the world would come to see.

Although intelligent, their thirst for destruction was on an abnormally high level.

Which of course turned out to disappoint the creator.

It was already torture to live amongst the Angels, who only lived to fulfil his desire.

Living among extremely violent beings wasn't to his liking either.

These thoughts led him to the experiment he was conducting.

The perfect being.

One like the True Giants, but not like them. One that had form closely resembling him and the angels.

Intelligent but not destructive, with high learning capabilities.

One with immense and limitless potential.

One of flesh rather than one of a spiritual being.

And that was where the problem came from.

You could put it in a way like this. Veldanava speciality can be said to be Spiritual Engineering. He had the ultimate authority in that regard.

But on the biological side of things, one could say he was being restricted by the laws of the world.

While he was no longer the Omnipotent-Omniscient Will, he was still considered the Creator's Will.

And as such, whatever that came from his hands will be seen as a divine mark left by himself.

But still, he tried.

That's why, after a long time, he had finally accomplished his goal.

"Look, Feldway, it's finally complete; he should be waking up soon!"

The creator cheered as they laughed happily.

He had every cause to be after all. "Yes. This is the person that would make the world livelier."

"I'll call him man. A human. And not just any human, their progenitor or ancestor, so to speak, how is it, Feldway!?"

The creator turned to his right-hand man, who just stood there with an air of calm and an unmoving expression.

This person had been with him since the dawn of creation.

For some odd reason, this man, or person, looked so much like him, only with a few differences, of course.

Unlike the black as lacquer hair of the Creator, the Primordial Angel by his side had pure silvery white hair.

"As expected of Veldanava-sama."

He had said something along those lines. Feldway was focusing more on the creator than the said being in creation.

That was Feldway.

As long as he could be by his creator's side, as long as the creator is happy, so is he.

That was his philosophy, in a sense.

Just like how children love their parents, one could say the same applies here, but on extreme and abnormal levels.

"Ahhh, Feldway, you should show more enthusiasm; this is the person that'd change that world, you know—"

Veldanava, about to address Feldway, had suddenly paused.

No, rather something he had sensed.

He looked back to his creation, as something odd was happening.

"This is…"

The creator was puzzled, rather, more so amused. For some reason, there was a different soul, a foreign one, hovering around the body of his creation.

"Veldanava-sama, that is—"

Feldway too had noticed and seen it, but Feldway on the other hand, had opted to move.

The mere likes of a soul dares to hijack the creation of Veldanava-sama?

Presumptuous. How dare it!

'Kill it! Eviscerate it from existence'—so was Feldway's thought process.

He wasn't concerned even about the creation the soul was going to hijack, nor did he care about it.

But the mere idea of trying to hijack what had been made by his creator's divine hands was presumptuous.

Hence, he had to eviscerate it!

However—

"Feldway, stop."

Veldanava had now stopped Feldway, watching intently, and amused as the swirling soul around his creation entered it.

At first, he thought of stopping it. But the question in the creator's mind was—

Where did the soul come from?

From what he knew, other worlds weren't developed enough to inhibit a soul like this.

And if that were the case, doesn't this mean that this soul was strong enough not to dissipate and had wandered here on its own?

The fact that he thought so made things "interesting."

The unexpected.

As expected, his creations do know how to keep him intrigued.

Feldway. Seeing as his Creator was intrigued, dropped his shoulders along with his guard.

'It may have been foolish to try to act when Veldanava-sama is around.'

Feldway thought.

As omnipotent as Veldanava was, Feldway didn't think anything would go wrong with his creator around.

And if Veldanava hadn't deem it dangerous—because, there's no way Veldanava wouldn't know—maybe there was no reason to be so on guard.

Besides, since Veldanava had stopped him, it meant that he had acknowledged it.

Looking at the being. He slowly began to open its eyes.

Long silver hair, skin as pale and smooth as porcelain, it was hard to discern its features just by looking at it.

Male? Female? Or maybe both?

However, when it fully opened its eyes, the colour that first appeared was crimson, but it soon changed to grey in the next.

"...?"

It paused. As if on instinct, opening what would be its mouth; however, thanks to the [All of Creation] accompanied with [Though Acceleration].

… In the span of a few seconds, it was able to fully understand its situation.

How this world worked, and everything about it on a different, yet fundamental level.

Granting this being [All of Creation] was Veldanava's way of speeding up the process.

So, based on the knowledge that had been imparted upon him through [All of Creation], he had begun to slowly deduce the concept of this world's language.

Yet… It still asked.

".....Where am I?"

It looked at Veldanava and Feldway in curiosity before looking around its surroundings.

They were in some kind of luxurious hall, with nothing but pure white with gold patterns.

Pillars here and there, and lastly, what seemed to be a throne at the further edge.

"I see…."

The being clutched its head once more. But maybe it was because of [Thought Acceleration].

It felt like it had all the time in the world to think.

"Hahaha. As I expected, it was a good idea to let you take over instead."

"No, I can't keep calling you, "you." I'll give you a name."

Veldanava proclaimed happily as he pointed his hands towards the being.

"Twilight. Twilight Valentine will be your name henceforth!"
