8:00pm... Guangdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
Dressed in dazzling attire, Soo-ah heaved a deep breath as she stood in the backstage of a theatre.
"Good luck Soo-ah". A lady said to her to calm her nervousness.
"Don't worry Soo-ah, you'll do great". A man said to her and kissed her forehead. "It's going to be alright".
"Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for as arrived, behold the dazzling Blue - pink". The commentator said to ready the spectators for the upcoming performance that is about to commence.
Raising up the large theatre curtains, five female individuals positioned themselves at the stage with stylish body poses. The one at the middle of the five began to sing and the other four sang to backup. Soo-ah who is among the five stood at the edge, sang and danced their choreographic rhythms.
The spectators were jumping and singing alongside them. Among the spectators was Soo-ah's boyfriend, Si-woo, and her half sister, Nari, which was the girl that was soothing her nervousness earlier, they too joined the ever flowing and catchy music.
The night was festive and a spectacle to behold. After the music performance, her boyfriend and half sister came to visit her at the backstage and congratulated her successful performance. Later in the night, they together with the members of the blue pink k-pop went to do an after party.
Days later, Soo-ah went to the company that sponsors her entertainment career to continue the rehearsal for their next concert. She noticed that hands were pointed to her and the gazes set on her were extraordinaryily overwhelming, but she shook it off and went to the training room.
Her colleagues, seeing her all went solemn. They looked at each other.
"Soo-ah, have you checked the internet today?". One of her colleagues asked.
"No". She replied. "Is something trending I haven't heard of?".
"Yeah, there is something trending, you see...". As her colleague was saying , the manager stepped in.
"Soo-ah, can you step into my office please". The manager called unto her.
She went to the Manager's office and sat on the chair.
"Soo-ah, there has been some rumors circulating about you after your last show ". The manager said.
"Rumors about what? ". She asked puzzled.
"Take a look at these news that has reports about you ". The manager gave Soo-ah his phone to read articles written about her.
She could read various headlines saying: "Soo-ah, A disgrace to the entertainment industry?" "What is the future of the Blue Pink k-pop star Soo-ah" " K-pop superstar Soo-ah elopes with one of Korea's big shot — who?". To mention a few.
"What!!!". She shouted, who on earth wants to ruin her career, why is there so much outrageous articles written about her. She stared at the screen, speechless and grim looking. There were numerous pictures of her in bed with a man whose face was concealed, but it's obviously not her boyfriend.
Her breath starts to grow thinner and faster, all she was seeing was defaming her, she doesn't even have a memory of sleeping with another man other than her boyfriend. Who framed her, who is trying to ruin her career.
Her thought became jumbled, she couldn't think straight, her limbs were shaking uncontrollably out of shock of what she was reading and seeing.
"Sir, someone is trying to trying to ruin my career, this is defaming, we have to do something about this ". She said with shaking and choking voice, ready to tear up at any moment.
"I'm sorry Soo-ah, though, we are well aware of your easy going nature, but we will have to suspend you till we have this matter resolved. You have to pack your belongings, we will reach out to you when we get this matter resolved, thank you for all your work till now". The manager said.
Soo-ah's heart, mind and body broke in shambles, the career she has been building up for almost six years, gone down the drain in an instant, she broke down in tears.
Packing some of her belongings, her colleagues came to meet her to cheer her up but the more they speak the further she broke down in tears.
Dragging her feet to the exit, her colleagues promised her that they'll do whatever they can to catch the culprit. It was a little cheering to say the least. She boarded a taxi and went to her boyfriend's house, all drained and filled with sorrow and demure.
Upon getting there, she noticed that the door was unlocked, she didn't count it as something to be suspicious of, but as she entered, she saw a bag she bought for her half sister Nari in the living room. She was puzzled, but once again, she didn't suspect a thing because what she was thinking wouldn't let her do so.
She sat at a chair completely exhausted and drained, thinking about what happened to her, she felt like crying again.
Suddenly, her worries and thought vanished for a second, she would have sworn she heard her boyfriend and half sister in the bedroom however, she dismissed it again and continues wallowing in sadness.
Her eyes were bloodshot from all the tears she had been crying. She called her boyfriend on the phone to tell him about her misfortune. She could hear the vibration and ringing of his phone coming from the room inside.
"Oh, he's at home, let me go see him in the bedroom". She stood up and went to the only bedroom in the apartment. Opening the unlocked door, the sight that would behold her broke her even more.
The people she thought her her backbone and refuge were sleeping together in the bed. Her eyes widens with grim and hollow dead expression, she shutters, "Nari?! Si-woo?!".
The two stopped what they were doing and became nervous because of Soo-ah's expression.
"Soo-ah, what are you doing here at this time". Si-woo asked nervously. Soo-ah couldn't take it anymore, she broke down in tears and fainted there after.
Later that day, she woke up from her unconsciousness at the hospital. Memories of the day's event starts to flood into her head. She broke down in tears again, everything she has done with her life, gone away just like that, she spent six years grooming to be a k-pop star.
After her success, someone framed her of infidelity, thus defaming her and got her fired. Later that same day, she saw her boyfriend and half sister sleeping together. The day just can't get any worse.
She stood up from her bed and got out of the ward, she met face to face Si-woo, her boyfriend. She wanted to lash out on him but she got no strength to do so. She asked:
"Si-woo, what have I done to deserve this, why did you cheat on me with my half sister, why!".
Si-woo was silent but then, Nari came and hugged him, and she held his hand and said.
"Si-woo was my boyfriend before he met you, you were just a tool for us to get rich, right Si-woo?". She spoke full of spite.
"Indeed, Nari was the love of my life, you were nothing but an ATM machine ". Si-woo said.
Soo-ah who had been crying all day long couldn't even weep, her eyes were as dry as a moon rook, but her severe sadness was written all over her face.
Without wasting time, she left their sight and went away from them.
"You think she'll be alright?". Si-woo asked.
"Why are you asking about her wellbeing, you know what's going to happen after betraying her. Whether she's alright or not, I don't mind, all I care is that I got to suck her dry and tarnish her image ". Nari said.
Soo-ah went away from the wards to the roof of the hospital, before getting there, she heard what Nari said. She stood at the roof's edge and stared at the beautiful twinkling stars of the night sky.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she kept reminiscing about the day's event, her entire life ruined, all she has amassed until now, gone, blown with the wind and reaped by someone else. To her, living is now nothing short of anguish and hell. She wishes to end it once and for all.
She lifted her legs and jumped off the roof's edge. She closed her eyes ready to hit the solid ground with great force and turn into splatter of red paint. Suddenly she heard a sound.

"What is this?" Soo-ah widens her eyes in astonishment.
