Caw caw caw!!! Rrrrr!!!
Sounds of different kinds of beasts voiced out in the horizon of a very thick forested jungle, wind from the east blows gently and solemnly, the branches of trees of the jungle followed its direction's.
Lying in this heavily forested and evergreen vegetations, saw a man, nakedly lying on the roots of a large buttress tree. Devoid of any clothing, this body was open to the elements to invade, with this, he could feel the breeze that softly brushes over his body very sensitively.
Feeling the cold of the wind, he slowly opens his eyes to see what little sunshine that touches the forest floor. His eyes was a bit hazy, he stood to sit and held his head.
"Ah god, that was one heck of a pain I felt last night, I wonder what made me feel such". Tudor said rubbing his eyes.
His eye haze cleared in no time, he was able to see much better now, then, he could see his nakedness, as well as his surroundings he found himself. He frantically looked around, all that was on sight were large trees with abnormal large roots, shade adapted plants and sounds of wild animals.
Tudor panicked immediately, he stood up from where he laid and covered his private area with his hands.
Where is he, how did he get into a thick forest, what is he doing outdoor, he was clearly in a motel the previous night, how did he go from a civilized urban center to a desolate thick jungle. All sorts of questions flooded his head.
His breath was uneven and nervousness was written all over his face, he is in a no man's-land land. Then something struck his mind, it was the memory he had before closing his eyes, he remembered seeing a system that he usually read in manga's.
He remember seeing something like host found, as well as transporting to training world.
"Am I dreaming? This gotta be a dream". Tudor said and slapped himself in the face.
"Okay, okay, that hurts, I'm not dreaming... Am I really in a different world now? No wait, did I die nakedly and got transported to the middle of nowhere, some kind of transmigration this is, Tch ". He curled his mouth.
[Ding! Name: Tudor Florea... Age: 20... Gender,: male... Energy:100/100... HP:100/100... Level: 0... Powers: none... Profession: none...]. A blue screen suddenly popped up in his front.
"Whoa, is this a system, the kind I do read in manga's and novels, it's real... I'm not dreaming... And I died, Tch, so who is the bastard that killed me, is it that girl?". He said.
[ Ding! Welcome Trainee Tudor to your Training World...]
"Training? Training World, am I in some kind of martial arts world, if that's the case, I'll train to be the most badass disciple and become a master... I can have harems too right?". He asked.
[ What is to be expected from someone who almost died by snu-snu...].
"Almost died by snu-snu... What! I was poisoned!! Someone spiked my drink, I didn't die by snu-snu okay, get that into your diode brain". Tudor refuted.
[ Tell that to your naked body, haha].
"What kind of system are you, you seem kinda sentient, systems are supposed to be thoughtless, mindless robots, which only answers questions and assist the host. Your response is mocking, I demand to see your director ". Tudor said.
[You wish... Let's give you a little briefing... Trainee Tudor, you are among few people chosen to become a member of the "Interdimensional Assistants", you have been transported to a different universe to train on the job you'll take on for the rest of your life...]
"... Interdimensional Assistants huh, it's seems more like a sci-fi than martial arts... Judging by the name, I get to travel across different universes... Tell me more". Tudor said.
[ Interdimensional Assistants is an organization created by a collection of outwardly beings to help and assist worlds and universes where their fate for destruction is sealed...]
"Hmm, good, but who are these outwardly beings you talked about". He asked.
[They are celestials, beings that whose presence you cannot fathom, the organization was created to assist worlds that are inescapable from doom where possible... These celestials choose heralds like you to deter such, count yourself lucky, philander...]
"I'm a celestial's herald! This is more than great hehe, however, what's a philander, given that attitude of yours, I doubt it's something good".
[ First, we start with a tutorial of the system's works... To know your status and general information, think or say ' Status ', an interphase about you would be displayed. Your name, age, health, energy, powers/ability, profession (if any) , would be shown...
To store an object, think or say ' Inventory ', a subspace where all your belongings are kept would be displayed...]
"Inventory". Tudor said. The interphase changed from his information to ten slots of space.
[ Your inventory is empty, please input an item...]
"Alright". he said.
[... If you require an information on something, lock your sight on the target, if your level permits, information of your target would be displayed...]
[Ding! Quest initiated... Find other trainees in this world... 0/3].
"A quest already? Now that's how a system should work but... Find other trainees, how can I do that in this god-damn place, I'm in the middle of nowhere, that's a mission impossible". He flared up.
[ Calm your nerves down philander...]
"Since when do systems give names, you are supposed to say host, that is how systems works". He interrupted the system.
[ Maybe I'm not like other systems].
"Of all the systems I've ever seen, you are the worst in attitude"
[ Liar! I'm the only system you've ever seen, as expected of a philander, deceit is part of your DNA...]
"Well, I've seen many in manga's and novels, none of them are this spoilt, they may mock but they don't give names, I want another system, the one that acts normal and doesn't give names ". Tudor said.
[ Well lucky for us both, we are stuck together... Anyways, I was saying, you do not have to worry about that quest, it one that will progress with other given quests. Given the position of each one of you, you might not encounter each other for years, so chill...]
"Fine, where am I, the sounds of animals at the background is giving me the fright, not to talk about the fact that I'm in a very dense jungle like the Amazon". He said jokingly.
[ Reading maps... You are in the former Amazonas state of Brazil, in the Amazon rainforest...]
"...". Tudor stares at his system in total silence, his brain seems to be processing what he had just read from the screen.
"Eeh, I don't get what you said?". He asked to confirm he had not seen wrong.
[You are in the Amazon rainforest...]
"!"
"Haaaaa!!! Amazon rainforest?! Why! Why there of all places on earth, you had to transmigrate to the deadliest of the jungles, put me back to death, l don't want to die a second death in this godforsaken nowhere! , arrrrgh!!!". Tudor began rambling on as he panicks.
"I should have known with that grumpy attitude of yours, you were going to do me bad. The Amazon is filled with deadly animals like the Jaguar, Caiman, Harpy eagle and worst of them all, the Anaconda". Tudor continues to panick while saying all kinds of things.
[ If you ain't aware, this is not your earth, this is a parallel world].
"Huh uh ". Tudor nervousness vanished for a second.
"So those animals aren't here? Or... Let me guess, they are more deadly than my home world aren't they?". He asked.
[ You seem to have read a lot of books and stories like that sadly... ]
"Sadly what?! Complete it, if you are trying to soothe me, you are doing a poor job". He said.
[ Sadly, it's a reality here...]
Tudor's heart sank, he was close to fainting, in most novels he read about transmigration, the main character never have an easy life, and monsters they encounters are usually demon spawns.
[ Quest initiated... Find human civilization...
Reward: advance two levels
Note: reward subject to change depending on host's performance...]
While his heart was in dismay, he saw a glimmer of hope, in this forsaken forest, there is an human civilization situated there.
"This might not be an easy journey but I'll complete that quest no matter what". Tudor said with great resolve, but deep down, he was in a high frenzy.
