The night sky, filled with stars and quietness. The people in the village of Valemare, some sleeping, some working and some just having fun with their friends and families. Everyday was the same to them. 

"Dad, look at the sky!"

"What is it?"

"There is a dot on the sky!"

"Wait, you are right. Why is it there?"

"Doesn't it look pretty?"

"It sure does."

That night, the people noticed a red dot on the sky. The people stopped what they were doing to see what this dot was. The dot became bigger and bigger with every minute. As the dot edged closer to the village the people realized that the dot was a meteorite. The people of the village tried to evacuate, in a attempt of despair to avoid the impact of the meteorite but it was too late for them. 

As the meteorite crashed down on the village, nothing happened. The meteorite just destroyed a few houses at most. The people of the village were in confusion, pondering and trying to comprehend what just happened. Suddenly the meteorite cracked, revealing roots of an unknown plant species. The plant had stem with energy of an unknown source radiating from it and leaves that burn so bright, it made anything that touches it instantly turn into ash. The root quickly covered the entire village in the matter of seconds. It's roots also latched on to the people of Valemere. They tried to remove the roots from their bodies but the roots would just attach back again once removed. The roots begin to absorb everything it had attached on to. The village crumbled and the people screamed as their life forces were being drained. Agony filled the atmosphere as the people collapse and died one after another. Only debris of the village remain. 

Day by day, the unknown plant in the meteorite begin to grow. The plant rapidly grew and had absorbed the meteorite's energy. Soon the plant had turned into a large tree. The roots expanded fast, reaching as far as 7 kilometers into the soil. The tree had infested the area where it is growing to be more suitable for it. The terrain had been turned into a fiery and hot landscape with magma coursing through the vicinity. No creature could step into it's territory and escape unscathed. 

The tree would be known as "The Tree of Creation" and this event to be known as the Rooting.

An egg was in the middle of it all, growing until the right day arrives...
