"Master, she is giving birth now!"
"It is about time. Bring in the evaluator!"
As the woman was giving birth, a entity which the baby could only see appeared. The entity was pitch black, even if it were out in the sun, it would stay black. The entity loomed around the baby, circling it and mumbling words. Suddenly it took out a scythe and slashed the baby's heart, creating a barrier between it's heart and soul.
"I have accomplished my mission. Master must be happy." It said before just disappearing.
The baby cried and cried as the evaluator came in.
"It seems your baby is a boy. He has extremely low compatibility with the Phoenix, to the point where he can't even use any of it's power." the evaluator said in a disappointed tone.
This was The Ashenflames, a clan the worshipped a mythical creature known as the Phoenix. The Ashenflames were known for their flame abilities and their ability to regenerate from the brink of death. They took big pride in their powers and killed off any weak members of their plan, making it so that there would be no weak offspring.
"So Master, what should we do with this baby?"
"We shall abandon it on a island. This baby isn't worthy enough to even be killed with my own hands. Let it die to the atrocities of the creatures on the island. Such a disappointment doesn't even deserve a name."
"Yes Master, I shall prepare a ship to send the baby to the island."
As so, the very next day the baby was send to an unknown island with no one to protect it. The island was covered in lushes and rough environment. The island was filled with Corrupteds. The Corrupteds on the island immediately sense a new presence of the island. They rushed towards the baby, trying to be the first one to devour it and absorbs it's life force. However, the baby had a hidden ability that no one knew about. It was called "The blessing of the Phoenix".
The blessing of the Phoenix:
A rare ability given to people with high potential power and a heart that could not be corrupted.
Passive: If anything that is 10 times or more stronger than the wielder of this ability try to attack the wielder of the ability, the attacker will be set on flames that cannot be extinguished by anything except the Water of the Underworld.
Anyone who were given this ability could manipulate flames and become a lot more smarter and learn complicated techniques in a matter of days.
It protected the baby from the Corrupteds and in turn, burned anyone that came in the radius of the baby. The baby weeped and weeped, but eventually it learned how to stand up.
Over the years, he learned to talk thanks to a book he found in a cabin on the island. He learned to use the most out of his abilities, learning how to hunt and cook. He taught himself discipline and knew that he must get stronger in order to survive. However he always felt that his powers were being held back by something but he couldn't quite grasp on what it was. He trained everyday, hoping to see what the world looked like outside of this island.
Today was the day he would prepare to see land outside of the island, however it appears that something as awoken from it's slumber.
