500 years after the meteorite had crashed, the world has immensely changed. The pollen from the flowers of the "Tree of creation" has spread across the world. This pollen is not just any ordinary pollen. Anyone who breathe enough the pollen would be granted with a power known as "Blessings". People with "Blessings" could perform extraordinary actions which normal people couldn't do.
They could form fireballs which they could shoot, heal people with just a touch and soar above the sky with wings. However some people were not fit to be a vessel of these "Blessings" so they become unstable and turn into entities known as the Corrupteds. They are distortion of their former selves, with no will of their own.
All Corrupteds share the same thought, which is to exterminate humanity. To protect humanity from these threats, an organization known as the Guild as banded together, gathering people with "Blessings" to group together to kill every Corrupteds. Corrupteds have a crystal in their hearts. These crystals can be used for making swords, arrows and armors which are essential to fighting against these creatures.
Killing the Corrupteds also gave a chance of granting them an additional "Blessings". They can gain as much "Blessings" as you want but you must stay sane and control themselves from falling in despair from the immense power they get. If they fail to stay sane, they would turn into a Corrupted themselves.
Mythological creatures also started to come to life. People who worship these creatures were given a portion of the creature's powers. For example, if a person worshipped Nessie, The Loch Ness Monster, they would be given water based abilities such as manipulation of water, the ability to be able to breathe underwater and more.
However only a select number of people know the existence of these creatures and the amount of power you gain from worshipping these creatures depends on your compatibility of them and the creature itself. If they had low compatibility with the creature, you wouldn't gain much power from worshipping them. Their compatibility with the creature is based on their family lineage and genetics. If they came from a line of family which worshipped the creature, their compatibility with that said creature would be high.
Animals could also receive these "Blessings" the same way as humans do. However most of them have turned into Corrupteds. Because of this, nowhere in the world is safe. In order to survive, they need to have a "Blessings", be a worshipper of a Mythological creature or had a strong weapon to defend themselves.
There have been many attempts to try and get close to the "Tree of Creation" however no one has succeeded to do so. None of them could survive the harsh conditions of the environment surrounding the tree. The temperature in the area could get as hot as 500 degree celsius just from the air. The hottest temperature recorded in the area was around 4350 degree celsius but this temperature can be higher.
In this world, the weak must get stronger to survive and the strong must stay strong to live.
