Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: A Second Chance

Doctor Jack checked into his hotel room, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He had been traveling all day, and it was nice to finally have a chance to rest.

As he walked into the room, he couldn't help but think about the girl he had met earlier that day. Emily. He couldn't believe how much he had been thinking about her. He didn't even know her, and yet he couldn't seem to get her out of his head.

"Jack, why are you thinking about this complete stranger?" he asked himself, shaking his head. "You don't even know her."

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't seem to shake the feeling that he had just met someone special.

He decided that he would attend the conference the next day, hoping to run into Emily again. He spent the rest of the evening preparing for the next day, and then he went to bed, his mind still racing with thoughts of Emily.

The next morning, Emma and Emily walked out of their class, chatting and laughing. Emma had been thinking about Doctor Jack all day, and she was determined to find him.

"Hey, Em, let's go check out the conference," Emma said, a sly grin spreading across her face.

Emily raised an eyebrow. "What's the point of that?"

Emma shrugged. "I don't know. I just want to see what it's all about."

Emily sighed, but eventually agreed to go with Emma. They were joined by their friends Olivia and Ava, and the four of them made their way to the conference hall.

When they arrived, they found that the conference was already over. The doors were closed, and people were milling around outside.

Emma's face fell, and she felt a pang of disappointment. She had been hoping to run into Doctor Jack again.

But just as they were about to leave, Emma saw him. He was standing across the field, looking handsome and charming.

Emma's heart skipped a beat as she grabbed Emily's arm. "Look, Em! There he is!"

Doctor Jack looked up, and his eyes met Emma's. He smiled, and Emma felt her heart flutter.

As they walked towards him, Doctor Jack's heart started racing. He couldn't believe his luck. He had been hoping to run into Emily again, and now here she was, standing right in front of him.

"Hi again," Doctor Jack said, smiling at Emma and Emily. "It's nice to see you both again."

Emma smiled back, feeling a sense of excitement. "Hi," she said. "It's nice to see you again too."

Doctor Jack turned to Emily, his eyes locking onto hers. "I'm so glad I ran into you again," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I was hoping to get a chance to talk to you some more."

Emily felt a flutter in her chest as she smiled back at Doctor Jack. She couldn't believe how charming and handsome he was.

As they talked, Doctor Jack found himself becoming more and more drawn to Emily. He couldn't believe how beautiful and charming she was.

"I'd love to get to know you better," Doctor Jack said, smiling at Emily. "Would you like that?"

Emily felt a surge of discomfort. She knew that Emma had a crush on Doctor Jack, and she didn't want to hurt her sister's feelings.

But before she could respond, Doctor Jack pulled out a business card and handed it to Emily. "Here's my card," he said. "I'd love for you to give me a call sometime."

Emily took the card, feeling a sense of unease. She didn't know what to say, or how to react.

"Thanks," she said finally, trying to sound casual.

Doctor Jack smiled, his eyes never leaving Emily's face. "I'm looking forward to hearing from you," he said.

As they walked away, Emma turned to Emily with a curious expression. "So, what did you think of Doctor Jack?" she asked.

Emily shrugged, feeling a sense of discomfort. "He seems nice, I guess."

Emma raised an eyebrow. "Just nice?"

Emily sighed, not knowing how to respond. She knew that Emma had a crush on Doctor Jack, and she didn't want to hurt her sister's feelings.

But as they walked back to their apartment, Emily couldn't shake the feeling tha

t she had just gotten herself into a very complicated situation.
