I've lived a pretty boring life. For the past 17 years nothing really interesting happened and I always felt trapped. Since young I've always been good at any ball-related games and played different sports but after reaching a certain point I stopped playing since I've already become better than the rest and no longer felt any challenge.

At a corner in the cafeteria, at school.
"Why don't you try dating?" Devon said.
Devon was Dimitri's best friend. He was on the larger side but stood at 2m tall, so it wasn't really noticeable. He had brown hair and blue eyes.
"Huh, why would I do something so tiring?"
"You always say life is boring, maybe some romance can spice things up."
"I don't know, guess I can try."
Dimitri might be bored of life but one thing people couldn't take away from him was his looks. Standing at 1.9m tall, brown hair, hazelnut eyes and a smooth, jadelike face, almost all the girls in school has confessed to him, but all were ruthlessly rejected.
"Great, who's going to be the lucky girl the heart breaker asks out?"
"Heart breaker, really?"
"Blame yourself for never accepting a confession and turning them down with a rather cold tone."
"Never mind, let's see who I'm going to ask."
As Dimitri scanned the surrounding area, he saw a lot of girls but one stood out. Her brown hair and eyes stood out above everyone else.
"She's pretty, I'll ask her out."
"Ava huh, I mean she's the most beautiful in the school, but you were rather cold when rejecting her, so are you sure."
"Yeah, it's fine. If she says no, then it's no. What does it matter?"
Dimitri then stood up and walked over to the group where Ava was.
"Ava, can I talk to you." Dimitri said with an indifferent voice.
"Uh, yeah" Ava, slightly confused stood up, put her lunch aside and followed Dimitri.
Dimitri led her to a place where no one was and began speaking.
"I know I was rude before, but will you go out with me."
Dimitri said in the gentlest voice he could muster.
"Yes? Yes!" Ava said as her face turned slightly red.
"Great, but I don't know how this works so is it fine if you lead this relationship?"
"Okay, I'll do my best." She said as she gave Dimitri a loving smile.
"Okay, see you later." Dimitri said as he walked back to Devon.
"Yeah, see you later."
"She said yes." Dimitri returned and said.
"Nice, now do your best and enjoy this."
"I'll try."

3 months passed.
While walking home with Devon.
"How's your relationship going." Devon said.
"Well, we started holding hands."
"It's been 3 months and that's the only progress you made."
"Yeah, guess so."
"Man, you guys are slow."
"Yeah, well, I don't know, these days I'm starting to enjoy life. We haven't gone far but I'm happy." Dimitri said.
"As long as you're happy bro, all I'm saying is that I would have at least taken it a step further than you guys."
"And that's why you're still single."
"I was literally the one who suggested you start a relationship, you jerk." Devon said as he hit Dimitri over the head.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm going left now, see tomorrow."
"Yeah, see tomorrow."

'Going to the next stage huh. Maybe, tomorrow I'll talk about it and see what Ava says.' Dimitri thought as he lied on his bed getting ready to go sleep.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared under him and before he could react he was already engulfed and dissapeared.
This strange phenomenon appeared at 4 different places that night.
