Chapter 1: The Royal Family
Alexandra "Alex" Smith was a stunning 35-year-old woman from a wealthy and influential family. She was the firstborn of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, who were renowned for their business empire and philanthropic efforts. Alex's father, Mr. Smith, was a politician and a successful entrepreneur, while her mother, Mrs. Smith, was a fashion designer and a farmer.
Alex had two siblings, Lucas and Natasha. Lucas, the second-born, was a handsome 30-year-old man who worked in the family business. Natasha, the last-born, was a spoiled 25-year-old brat who loved to party and live life to the fullest.
Despite her privileged upbringing, Alex felt suffocated by her family's expectations. She longed to break free from the shackles of her royal family and forge her own path in life.
One sunny afternoon, Alex sat in her family's opulent living room, staring out the window at the beautifully manicured lawn. Her mind wandered, thinking about her life and what she truly wanted.
"Alex, what's wrong?" her mother asked, noticing her daughter's distant expression.
"Nothing, Mother," Alex replied, forcing a smile. "I'm just thinking about my life."
"Your life?" her mother repeated. "Alex, you have everything you could possibly want. What more could you want?"
Alex sighed, feeling frustrated. "Mother, you don't understand. I want to make a difference in the world. I want to be my own person, not just a member of the Smith family."
Her mother looked at her with concern. "Alex, you're being dramatic. You're a Smith, and that comes with certain responsibilities. You need to learn to accept that."
Alex felt a surge of anger, but she bit her tongue. She knew that arguing with her mother would be futile.
Instead, she stood up and excused herself. "I need some fresh air, Mother. I'm going for a walk."
Her mother nodded, watching as Alex walked out of the living room and into the garden.
As Alex strolled through the beautifully manicured lawn, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. She loved her family, but sometimes she felt like she was suffocating under the weight of their expectations.
She walked for a while, lost in thought, until she heard the sound of a car driving up the driveway.
Curious, Alex walked back to the house to see who it was.
As she approached the front door, she saw a handsome young man stepping out of a sleek black car.
"Hello," he said, smiling at her. "My name is Michael. I'm here to see your father."
Alex felt a flutter in her chest as she looked at Michael. He was tall, dark, and handsome, with piercing brown eyes that seemed to see right through her.
"Welcome, Michael," Alex said, smiling back at him. "I'm Alex, my father's daughter. Please, come in."
As Michael followed Alex into the house, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had no idea who Michael was or what he wanted with her father, but she was eager to find out.
