Chapter 6: The Rude Interruption
Just as Alexander was about to explain the details of the investment opportunity, Natasha interrupted him.
"I don't see why we need to invest in anything," Natasha said, rolling her eyes. "We're already rich."
Alexander smiled politely. "I understand that your family is wealthy, Natasha. But this investment opportunity could potentially increase your family's wealth even more."
Natasha snorted. "I doubt it."
Mr. Smith frowned at Natasha. "Natasha, please. Let Alexander finish explaining his proposal."
Mrs. Smith added, "Yes, dear. We want to hear what Alexander has to say."
But Natasha just shrugged and stood up. "I'm bored. I'm going to go get a drink."
As Natasha walked out of the room, Alex apologized to Alexander. "I'm so sorry about my sister's behavior. She can be very rude sometimes."
Alexander smiled. "It's okay, Alex. I'm used to dealing with difficult people."
Chapter 7: The Explanation
Alexander continued to explain his proposal, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith listened intently. Alex was impressed by Alexander's knowledge and expertise.
"As you can see, this investment opportunity has the potential to bring in a significant return," Alexander said, concluding his presentation.
Mr. Smith nodded thoughtfully. "I must say, Alexander, this is a very impressive proposal. We'll need to discuss it further, but I think we may be interested."
Mrs. Smith smiled. "Yes, Alexander, you've certainly given us something to think about."
Alexander smiled back, looking relieved. "Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I'm glad you're considering my proposal."
As Alexander left, Alex couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had a feeling that this investment opportunity was going to be big.
But as she turned to her parents, she saw that Natasha was standing in the doorway, looking furious.
"What's going on?" Natasha demanded. "Why are you considering investing in this guy's proposal?"
Mr. Smith sighed. "Natasha, we've already discussed this. Alexander's proposal has the potential to bring in a significant return."
Natasha scowled. "I don't care about the return. I don't trust this guy."
Alex rolled her eyes. "Natasha, you're just being paranoid."
But Natasha just shook her head. "You'll see. This guy is trouble."
