"Something's coming!" - "What's that?" Something that cannot be believed.
Floating on the sea, with heavy wood, and huge sails stretched, it was ten times the size of any ship ever built in Britonia.
The ship approached the west coast of the Dwarves, and people who were on holiday saw something giant coming.
In fear, they ran away when the ship did not stop when it approached the coast, many people swimming who were enjoying the sea in this sunny weather ran away to the top.
People who were sunbathing moved away from the ship, until the hull of the ship hit the beach sand hard, creating a line where the large ship had passed.
After half of the ship came ashore, suddenly, a crowd of people appeared; the ship that came ashore was like a ship without a rider.
Walking alone across the vast ocean is impossible, but this is not human activity, or maybe it is.
****/ Alain Arkbold POV :
Where are my parents? Isn't they worried about me being trapped inside the Abyssal gate? I know my parents are kings and queens and know their busy lives.
This time, they were attending a conference on Al-Cryan, or the flying island where these three leaders often gathered and the kingdom of peace there.
More precisely it was the safest location for the three races to hold conferences or discussions as well as determine the laws for matters concerning this continent.
"What is the conference about? Why did this happen suddenly without any news from the media?" I asked my closest bodyguard, who replaced them here, and my sister, who was asleep on the sofa.
Conferences have rarely occurred after fighting for peace, and most recently, because of human trafficking, elves made the 3 kingdoms unable to remain silent.
I learned a lot so I could continue the Sperum kingdom well like my father, but I don't know what this conference is about.
"It was about a ship that anchored on the west coast of the Dwarves, making the dwarven kingdom think it was the work of humans." The answer is that I, who had fallen asleep in bed, now woke up after hearing that.
"Have we started the trial yet?" Ku asked again because this shouldn't be known to other races, but why did our test ship land on the coast of the Dwarves?
"We haven't tested it yet, young master." He said while sighing lightly.
"What?" I was shocked after hearing that the big ship was humanity's newest project, and I thought it had already carried out its trials.
So who owns the ship?
"The owner of the ship is still unknown, but because it is anchored in Dwarves territory the human and elven investigation teams cannot enter," he said.
Dwarves only have the coast in the west, and their kingdom is underground, but there are also some above but the majority of them live underground.
"How big is that ship?" I asked once again; I'm still curious if I can even go there. I would love to see that, damn it's in the dwarven territory.
"Equivalent to the ship we are building young master." His answer was slow and gentle, but it shocked me enough to give me some pain in my body from the pain of the fight. "Awch!"
****/ Wein Grimveil POV :
"Auntie, I want to go to practice!" I wore a bag and brought a small sword to practice and deliver parting words to Aunt Badveil.
"Okay Wein, convey my regards to Sherry! See you later." I opened the door and walked out to the backyard.
With the spirit of my steps light and also very happy to meet Sherry and Leon, I will practice with them today.
"Wein!!!" Leon shouted, his face was very happy, Sherry just stayed behind and glanced at us embarrassedly.
I walked with Leon next to me, seeing our trainer preparing to perform and giving our material.
My dream is to become the best swordmans in the world, Leon wants to be the best archer in the world, and Sherry... She doesn't want to be anything cute, isn't it? Haha.
We did training according to our skills, I also did additional magic training while they sat in the corner waiting for me to practice.
After the practice was finished, I approached them they were very happy when I approached and started to look like they wanted to laugh I was also very happy with them.
"Wein, what are your plans when you are sixteen?" Leon asked, his face changed, ambition was in him now, he looked at my face.
"Hmmm... What? I think I want to continue to Aetheris Academy." I answered while holding my chin in thought.
I didn't think about becoming an adventurer, even though at sixteen it was already legal to be an adventurer, but my use of magic was terrible, so I wanted to learn it there.
As a small talk, I asked Sherry who was eating her toast. "If you? Where do you want to go next."
She looks shy even though the three of us have been together for years, but she still rarely laughs or talks, who knows what's bothering her.
"I.. I think I want to enter Aetheris Academy too." She answered hesitantly, but it was clear in her eyes that he was sure of the answer.
A few days after...
We changed places, Leon and I walked from the house to the training area, which is usually done in my yard, this time moving to a fixed place.
Finally, I arrived at the place that was not too far from my housing complex there were quite a lot of students this time because it had become public, and that wasn't a problem for me.
"Morning Wein-Leon." The coach said, I immediately took and wore clothes for training, also took my sword.
"I don't think they will be surprised when they see your skills with a sword?" Leon asked, he gently elbowed the side of my stomach in a showy tone.
"Wein, Leon, don't chat." The coach heard our conversation, and Sherry giggled.
"R.. Ready sir!" Leon stupidly saluted the trainer while giving the material.
"Kids, wait a moment, okay?" His eyes were wide open, his face panicked. He then left the room.
At that time, I just let it be I continued doing some exercises with Leon until when I was moving, I smelled the smell of smoke, but because this was a training place, I just didn't care about it.
I continued exercising until the aroma got stronger, but I didn't know where it came from; my sweat also became heavier, which indicated that the temperature was very hot.
However, the other students didn't realize this, they were still busy practicing until I was very uncomfortable.
I feel a fire burning behind these walls, that's why it's so hot in here.
Some of the students realized they started to stop the conversation and find out where it came from.
Leon tried to look behind the wall, but there was nothing.
"Wein, I think we should get out of here." He said, but I was still looking for the origin of the fire with the other students.
"Wein, come on!" Forcing Leon, he grabbed my hand and continued saying, "I couldn't find Sherry anywhere."
I groaned "Huh? Wasn't he here just now?"
Coming out of focus, I surprisingly followed Leon and talked to him after I left my curiosity behind.
"That's right, I looked for it earlier, but it wasn't anywhere," he said quietly.
"Then let's go out," I answered again, I thought this was just a small fire caused by negligence.
"Can't! fire surrounds us." Leon said quietly so that his voice wouldn't spread through the air.
"What? So this isn't a small fire?" I was a little surprised.
So, we were abandoned by our coach this time?
"Children!!! Get out of here quickly." That firm shout, however, made us want to survive.
It was our trainer who appeared at the place where he went, he was seen using a fireproof device.
"Come on Leon." I grabbed Leon's hand, he was lost in thought.
I pulled Leon and ran towards the coach, passing the path taken by other students, l until we all stopped at the stairs going down.
Full of heat, dark red and orange colors below, the fire was blazing high with wood falling one by one because it couldn't stand the heat of the fire.
"Everyone down!" The coach said he led the way down, which was full of fire, also with hysterical voices from outside starting to be heard here.
I was at the back, Leon was in his worst condition because he saw something, he looked pale and dreamy until now.
"Wine! I saw Sherry earlier!" He got angry and raised his voice at me. His irritated face burned like fire behind him.
We were standing in ruins that kept falling all the time, with fire continuing to burn and devour the entire building.
"Wein, Leon! Help me!" A small whisper. I think only I can hear this sound. I looked behind me, but there was only fire there, and then I looked back at Leon.
It's not there, Leon is no longer in front of me, I think he left because he was annoyed with me.
"Wein, I'm here!" The familiar voice grew louder and more certain that it was Sherry's voice.
I was starting to come to my senses but the sound was small and outweighed by the falling wood and blazing fire, I looked in the direction I felt it was coming from.
"Sherry! Where are you!" I shouted, but defeated by the flames, I dared to enter the area where there was a lot of fire.
I took a step, crossed the path that the coach had given me, and walked away from the safe zone.
"No, Wein! You can't go there." My hand was pulled, forced, I could only daydream and not rebel.
I'm sweating but I don't feel it because I've been in this fire for so long.
"No! Sherry!" I screamed, I tried to struggle, but it didn't work and I just kept quiet and let my coach pull me out.
I kept screaming the whole way out, the other students were already outside, also with healers and rescue teams who were ready at the side.
The magicians who used water magic tried to extinguish the fire, and my tears fell to the floor the more I remembered all my journey with Sherry.
