Thinking of the bonus quest, Leo instantly shot up, running towards his two teammates who towered over his five-year-old body. "Can we do the Bonus quest now?" Leo asked John the leader of this expedition. "Of course, young master", John replied as he began to look around the boss room where he assumed the King's treasury would be contained.
Over the next hour and a half Leo's party inspected every inch of the cave until they met at one spot. This spot of the cave contained a mural of a snow Yeti fighting a human army. See this Leo noticed that the eyes of the Yeti were glowing a blurry light. Thinking that this was weird, Leo used his superhuman physique to jump up and push one of the eyes in. Immediately, the cave started to rumble as the light in the eyes of the Yeti started to get brighter and brighter until Leo and his party had to avert their eyes to not damage their sight. After a couple of seconds, the blinding light finally started to dull until it was finally fully gone.
Looking up with the bright light still in their minds, they couldn't help but be surprised as the mural that was there before was completely gone, being replaced with a second smaller cave only big enough for someone of Leo's size to fit through. It has to be known that Leo is 145cm tall, which is extremely tall for a five-year-old, but it makes sense when you take into account the fact that as soon as someone is born, mana supports their being even before they awaken. This effect of mana has also affected the brains of children in this world causing them to mature and learn faster than in Leo's previous world. In this world, by the time someone is five they would be as smart as a 15-year-old in Leo's original world.
Throwing all the useless thoughts out of his mind as he took the first step into the cave that only he would fit. After walking forward for a couple minutes Leo came to a small Cove at the end of the cave. There was only one item within this area and it seemed to be an egg covered in white scales. Seeing this Leo tried to see if the system knew anything about the mysterious egg.

Seeing this egg, Leo instantly thought whether or not he should tell his party about it. On one hand, they worked for his father's guild, but on the other, right now, they are within a portal where there's no way of anyone knowing what happens inside. Thinking of this he decided not to tell them just to be safe. This doesn't mean that he wouldn't tell anyone, he would tell his father once they were outside of the portal.
Picking up the egg Leo grabbed the small pouch that his father had given him the day before.

Leo carefully slipped the egg into the bag before getting ready to meet up with his part.
Leo slowly walked back to his party with a sad face. "There was nothing" was all that Leo said before he pretended to look for the treasury in another part of the cave. Hearing this, Alexandra and John gazed at each other with a look of disbelief, but almost instantly, they gave up on their thoughts and went to help their young master continue to look.
After another 4 hours of looking with no success, all the members of the party had an extremely sad look on their faces as they thought about how good the rewards of the bonus quest could have been. After another hour, John finally called out, " Let's just go, we're not making any progress anyway." Hearing this, the rest of the party could just nod as they thought the same.
As they walked towards the centre of the boss room where the portal was located Alexandra and John looked at Leo one last time before a look of helplessness appeared on their faces as they stepped through the portal being greeted by a convoy of men in suits sent by the guild master to pick up his son.
Seeing this Leo went along with these men as they headed back to the manor. After a short trip, Leo once again found himself in front of the domineering aura belonging to his father. " What did you gain this time," Thomas said with a look of expectation. Leo then went on to recount the events of the portal to his father for the next half an hour including what happened with the egg. " Good job." That was all that Thomas said as he waved for Leo to take out the oh-so-mysterious egg. Leo instantly followed his father's orders taking out the white scaly egg that seemed to be emitting a cold aura. "Hmm, interesting", Thomas whispered as he noticed that he couldn't even inspect it. After another couple of minutes of discussion surrounding the egg, Leo was finally allowed to exit his father's office once again.
