"Ahhh!!!, what happened?" Leo screamed as his eyes shot open. Leo scanned the area rapidly in search of the bandit leader. "Calm down, I've already taken care of it", a familiar voice came from behind Leo. Hearing this Leo quickly turned around to find a scar-covered man sitting on top of the boss. "Apollo, how did you do it?" Leo questioned as the giant slowly stood up walking in Leo's direction. "Don't worry about that. Let's just get our rewards and leave." Hearing Apollo's words, Leo could only nod before looking around the area for John. In the distance, Leo could see a body devoid of any colour lying on the floor with blood pooling around it. Leo recognised this body as John. Shooting up Leo dashed towards John to check if he was okay. As Leo arrived in front of the body it became evident that he was dead. The death of John saddened Leo, unlike the death of Rosana, because, over the past three months, Leo had entered portals with John on multiple occasions.
After mourning the death of someone that Leo had started to think of as a friend, he finally got up and started walking towards Apollo, ready to leave. During this process, all that Leo could think about was, why? Why had Apollo let all this happen if he had the power to stop it? Even though Leo had so many questions, he knew from Apollo's previous answers that he wouldn't gain much information, so instead, he just checked the quest notification.

Looking through his status, Leo couldn't help but notice that his level had gone up by three, increasing all of his stats by 12. This is because of the damage that Leo caused to the boss, meaning that he gained a portion of the exp; thinking this, Leo couldn't help but wonder just how much exp Apollo got for actually killing the bandit king. Getting the unnecessary thoughts out of his head, Leo began to read the description of his new skill. After reading through his skill, Leo talked to himself, saying, "No wonder that bastard survived my attack; he was pretty much immortal. How can a monster like that be in a low-level dungeon?"
After a couple minutes of thinking Leo finally decided that it was time to leave. Joining up with Apollo at the portal, they both stepped forward, returning to their original world.
(2 hours later)
"So Apollo, how was that boy" a man asked as he stared at the giant in front of him. Apollo took a couple of seconds to organise his thoughts before finally speaking, "He's a weak psychopath" Hearing these words, the mysterious man burst into laughter as his face slowly became visible. It was Lucas Pendragon, the man Leo had met previously. "And why do you say that?" Lucas asked with an amused expression. "He kept on fighting even when faced with an enemy he knew he couldn't beat," Apollo replied as if he was talking to his superior in the army. Lucas could only smile before muttering "He reminds me of a certain someone." For the next hour and a half, Apollo reported in detail everything that happened within the portal and even how Leo had acted whilst outside the portal.
Leo once again found himself inside his father's office, but this time was a little different; Leo no longer just stared at the floor; instead, this time, he was looking his father right in the eyes without a hint of fear. Thomas naturally notices his son's actions but just simply can't be bothered to correct him. "Follow me", Thomas commanded as he walked out of the office and began walking towards the basement.
Following his father, Leo soon arrived in the basement where what seems to be a fighting ring of some sort is located. Looking at his father with a questioning gaze, Leo simply asked, "What are we doing here?" Hearing this, Thomas didn't even reply. He simply took off his vest and walked into the arena, motioning for Leo to follow. " We are going to spar. I'll only use half my power, and if you manage to touch me, I'll reward you," Thomas stated as he looked intently at his. Hearing this Leo began to speak but was instantly cut off by a massive chunk of ice passing by his head. "We begin now" was all that Thomas said before Summoning hundreds of ice blades to attack Leo.
Seeing his father's actions Leo activated his [Transformation] skill along with [Summon Wolf] and [Summon Pack]. After he finished casting his skills, Leo shot forward, rushing at his father head-on whilst his wolves began to circle, not leaving anywhere for Thomas to escape. Seeing his son's tactic, a small smirk developed on Thomas's face before he started to use his ice knives to stop Leo's change. Leo easily dodged the first couple of knives, but they kept on coming, seemingly never-ending. Starting to get sick of the constant dodging Leo started to think of a very risky strategy that could even end up with him dead.
Making up his mind, Leo ordered all of his wolves to charge at Thomas momentarily, making him advert his attention. Noticing his chance, Leo charges forward, letting himself be impaled by multiple ice knives before he arrives within a meter of Thomas.
