Maxwell's Facility – Main Hall
Gunfire, disturbed the silence of the room. Aiden pushed Marina behind a piller, shielding her as bullets ran past them.
"Stay down!" he ordered.
Marina crouched, gripping her pistol tightly. "I can fight, Aiden!"
"Not now," Aiden snapped, leaning out of cover to return fire. "Just focus on staying alive."
Jayden and the rest of the team spread out, taking cover behind crates and overturned tables. "This guy really doesn't know when to quit!" Jayden shouted, firing off a shot that hit one of Maxwell's men in the right shoulder.
"Focus!" Aiden barked.
Maxwell's laughter was heard over the gunshots. "Oh, Aiden, you should know better than to challenge me on my own soil!"
Maxwell ducked behind a control panel, barking orders to his men. "Keep them pinned down! Don't let them advance!"
