It's evening in the Adams house, two women who happens to be Kelvin's mum, Rachael and Mrs Adams, Chloe. They are in the garden, Chloe was watering the flowers with a watering can, while Rachael was triming the flowers with a pruning shear. They were both discussing
" ... I still feel like I shouldn't be here, but you keep on insisting that I should "
" Oh come on Rachael, I thought we already concluded on that "
"I know but"
Chloe sharply cuts in
" But what?, I'm okay with you staying here and besides I have someone to talk and not just someone, a friend "
"you're so kind hearted, I really wish this didn't happen to you "
"Oh please, I see kelvin as my son and it will be evil of me if I deprive him of his father "
" You're amazing "
Chloe chuckles
"Come on stop it already, you know I adore you right?"
"Me? How?"
"You raised kelvin up all by yourself, it must have been hard to raise a child alone for all this years"
" It wasn't easy, they were times when it was very difficult, but I'm grateful to God"
Chloe drops the watering can and holds Rachael's hands gently
"Now we are one big family, and I'm sure God has answered your prayers and I'm sure we only have good times ahead of us"
Chloe is a gentle, loving and beautiful woman. Her humble and caring nature made her to be nominated as the woman of virtue.
The sound of car zooming in was heard
Rachael smiles " I guess kelvin is back, we should probably go in"
Kelvin walks into the mansion and sights his mum and Chloe. They walk towards him.
Rachael with a welcoming smile asks
"So how was your first day at work?"
"It was amazing mum" He gives her a warm smile
"Hope it wasn't stressful?"
"No, it wasn't. I guess it's because it's my first day"
Chloe interferes, she feels left out
"Well, I guess you are being welcomed, being a C.E.O comes with power and also responsibilities"
" Of course, I just don't know if I have what it takes to be one"
"Oh common, I'm sure you are more than capable, I didn't mean to scare you, just preparing you for what's ahead" she chuckles.
Kelvin smiles
"Thank you ma, I'll put that in mind".
"You're welcome Kelvin"
Kelvin signals to his mum that he was starving.
Rachael laughs
"Go freshen up, I'll prepare the table"
As he was about going to his room, he remembers something
"Mum, what about dad?"
"He's gone on a trip, remember?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot his gone on a trip"
He turns back and goes to his room
Susan on the other hand is in her room, she does a money transfer to her sister and drops her phone, she's about to sleep when she remembers her boyfriend had not called her. She sighs
"He promised to call me, perhaps he has been busy"
She picks up her phone again and place a call through to her boyfriend.
She calls the first time, he wasn't answering.
Then she calls him again, this time the call was picked.
As she was about speaking she heard a female voice
"Hello"
She went mute for a few seconds
" Who are you?" Those were the words she could think of at that moment
