Falcon looked completely different from how he looked before. He shrugged as he answered, "Well, since I didn't have anything else to do, I put a lot of work into Serendipity in the last few weeks. I was able to combine a lot of different effects and push forward the boundaries of a few formulations."
"The result is definitely impressive," Jovana remarked.
"Thank you. But I can't take full credit for it. The haircut is the expensive work of a very gifted barber. However, I was able to increase the effectiveness of the anonymous vial by a factor of four."
"That sounds useful. It's the same vial I took before coming here. Wait a minute, is that the reason your valet couldn't find you anywhere?"
"I'm afraid so. Poor Jacob. He really tried," Falcon said, and they both laughed together, then looked at each other until the silence in the room began to feel a little too heavy.
