Jovana realized that Xena had always been there for her, and if it hadn't been for her constant push to socialize, she would have ended up alone and defeated. 'But when was the last time I did something special for her?' Jovana wondered as her shoulders slumped together.
"Come on, grumpy lady, we need you to make yourself as beautiful as the engaged gem you should be," Xena said, and at the word of engagement, Jovana's eyes lit up as it occurred to her that there was a way to repay Xena.
'I know she would be happy with my brother,' Jovana thought, then said to Xena, "Speaking of engagements, I haven't congratulated you on yours."
Jovana could see Xena's smile losing its luster as she mentioned her engagement.
"He's a good man; I'm glad to have him."
"But do you love him?" Jovana asked while Xena scoffed at her.
"Love is overrated, Jovana. All it does is make you suffer."
