Jovana looked at Caspian and raised her eyebrows. "All for nothing? What was that supposed to mean?"
Caspian smiled and shrugged as if he had no idea what Jovana was talking about, while Jovana mused, 'I'm starting to think that this early return of Liam to the game is some sort of diversion from something else.'
"What is going on? Is this a diversion of some sort?" Jovana asked, curious.
"I guess only time will tell," Caspian said, and when Jovana's brows pulled together, he continued, "Believe me, Jovana, I don't like to keep you in the dark, and I know you could handle it, but we're treading on very thin ice."
Jovana sighed and nodded her head. "And you want to do everything in your power to succeed. Don't worry, I get it."
"Thank you. Come on now. We need to disappear for a while. Later we will re-enter the house through the main door and pretend we have just arrived."
Jovana grinned as she quipped, "To give the right impression?"
