Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Charter 1

Looking out the window, Miciry, the current personal guard and trainer of Yuva (prince) Mhaharanni reflected on how he had escaped from D' Wretched and was brought into the palace.

Miciry was born in the heart of D' Wretched.

D' Wretched, was a kind of prison, were all those who committed serious crimes are kept. There, they live the rest of their lives. D' Wretched was cold and freezing, unlike the rest of the continent of Ti Gulha, which was warm and pleasant.

D' Wretched was a large community of prisoners with land as far as the eyes could see but fenced. Although the prisoners walked free within D' Wretched, they could not leave because the mystical energy that formed D' Wretched denied the prisoners their natural powers and abilities and the will to escape. The houses that could be found there were short wooden shanties and igloos, for only leafless trees could survive in D' Wretched because of the extreme cold. Prisoners in D' Wretched relied on the rations provided by the prison warden through the office of the head of welfare committee in charge of the D, wretched.

Miciry's mother Rhashidah was responsible for the death of General ArtchBurtcher, the right-hand man of Raja Jicarge Alhovos, the ruling Raja of Ti Gulha.

In D' Wretched, she was considered a Queen of some sort, for killing General ArtchBurtcher, through whom most of the prisoners in D' Wretched were sentenced.

Rhashidah was a woman of great beauty. Her mother was black while her father was white. Rhashidah took the best of both races. She was very curvy like her mother and her color was like that of an anthill. Her hairs were black, long and wavy, she had a long heart-shaped face, her eyes were golden, framed by long black lashes and she was seven feet tall.

Rhashidah was from a clan that, for reasons best known to Gulha, were not given any mystical powers, but they were cherished and respected because they were the cleaners and the service people of Ti Gulha. They were usually well rewarded and appreciated for their services in the entire kingdom. They were a happy people.

Rhashidah was brought into the palace to work as a cleaner by a council member who was a close friend of her father. Mostly because she could not fit in anywhere else. She was too restless.

From the very first day she set her eyes on ArtchBurtcher ArtchMigerd in the palace, she wanted him for herself even though she knew he had a love spouse and he could never belong to her.

General ArtchBurtcher was a sight to behold. He was a dark black man, eight feet tall with a well-shaved head and a long, hard face devoid of humor. He was built strong. He had a wide chest and strong arms and legs. He looked really formidable, but surprisingly, his eyes, when you looked into them, were soft and kind.

Rhashidah believed she loved him, and she did everything possible to catch his attention. When all failed, she became desperate.

In her desperation, she went out of line and broke many rules and regulations of her office and station and she was sacked.

When Rhashidah was sent back home she was heartbroken because, she felt that all hope of ever attracting the attention of ArtchBurtcher was lost until her aunt, who produce perfumes and cosmetics as a side Hussle, sent her to the market close to the border to buy raw materials for her work. At the border market,Rhashidah met the merchant that gave her materials and tools to weaken and eventually mate with ArtchBurtcher. But when ArtchBurtcher still rejected her, even after mateing with her,she killed him using an enchanted knife to cut him.

Rhashidah had Miciry in D' Wretched a few months after she was sentenced. Shortly afterwards, she met her Gulha given love spouse. She regretted not waiting on Ti Gulha to bring her love spouse any way it saw fit.

Rhashidah hated General ArtchBurtcher for sentencing her Gulha given spouse to D' Wretched earlier, preventing their meeting. From that day onwards, she hated Miciry, her son, the product of her mistaken love for ArtchBurtcher; who became a constant reminder of her mistake and impatience.

Miciry's childhood in D' Wretched was a daily torture because of his mother's wickedness and maltreatment. Miciry was the most hated child in the entire community of D' Wretched, mostly because his late father sent many of the criminals to D' Wretched in his capacity as the head of the secret service and head of security in Ti Gulha. However, the parents of Tiodidnah and a few others felt that Miciry should not be blamed for the actions of his parents. They shared their daily ration with him and he was always welcomed by them each time he visits.

Miciry and most of the children in D' Wretched had to steal food from their parents in order to survive, because the food was rationed and was never enough, because of the ever-growing population in D' Wretched as inmates reproduced.

One day, Miciry was starving. He sneaked into his mother's room and opened the wooden barrel that she kept the food. He took a few wooden spoons of the porridge, but unfortunately for him ,when he closed the barrel and turned to leave ,his mother was standing in front of the door watching him. She kicked him out of the house in to the cold night as punishment.

Miciry had no were to go ,so he went to see Tiodidnah, his closest friend.

Tiodidnah was a Byanjana (Intersex). His gender type and his warm hearted nature fascinated Miciry. Tiodidnah however was repulsed by his own double gender status which had been a constant source of embarrassment to him. And so he had kept claiming a single gender, Male.

Miciry met Tiodidnah and told him about his predicament. Tiodidnah offered to give Miciry his daily ration so he could give it to his mother as a way of soliciting for her forgiveness, but Miciry turned down his offer because he knew that his friend needed the food more.

They sat silently in front of Tiodidnah's house wrapped in thick but worn out fur and leather cloak to prevent cold. After thinking and reflecting on the situation for a while, Tiodidnahh suggested they take a walk. As they walked, they discussed. They talked about the warm climate of the main city and all the good things that the older people had said about the main city out side D, wretched. Both of them had never seen outside the prison of D, wretched.Because, they were born in D, wretched. They talked about all the things they could have done with their lives if their parents hadn't committed the crimes that brought them to D' Wretched.

While they were talking , a bright light came from the direction of one of the walls separating D' Wretched from the main city. Miciry and his friend looked at each other and headed towards the direction of the light to find out the source. As they got there, they saw a ball of very bright light on the wall creating a kind of portal. Miciry had a strong feeling to go through the portal of light, so he told his friend to follow him. Tiodidnah refused, and started backing away from the light with fear in his eyes. He was usually timid and afraid, and needed encouragement and so Miciry reached out to him but he kept backing away wide eyed. Miciry called to him to follow as he turned and walked into the light with the hope that Tiodidnah would follow. There was a brief moment of darkness and then he fell, landing on hands and knees on the ground on the other side of the portal.
