Scarlett stared at an old picture on the table, her fingers trembling as they carefully traced its worn edges. The woman in the picture looked remarkably like her—but it wasn't her. Confusion flooded her mind as she tried to come to terms with the strange reality before her.
"This can't be real," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. Nathan leaned over her shoulder, frowning as he looked at the picture closely. "It's not just a look-alike, Scarlett. It's... unreal."
Scarlett's heart raced as she turned to Nathan. "I don`t believe this, how can this be? But I think… If this is real— I think I have a sister… a twin in fact. She looks just like me. I do not get it, if I have a twin—why didn't my parents ever tell me?"
Nathan placed a hand on her shoulder. "That's exactly what we need to find out." He said.
As Scarlett flipped the picture over. On the back, faded ink is written, a name and an address: Victoria Grayson, Bellevue State Home.
