(This has not been edited yet, please wait while i fix the grammar, chats, ETC.)

There was a war raging in-between two countries over a powerful artifact. This artifact had the ability to stop aging and illness as long as it was in contact with a person. The two countries both had elderly kings and queens and they did not want to lose either of them.

The kings and queens raged a brutal war that killed millions every week. The war lasted a long time causing many families to be separated. Of course the orphan count sky rocketed. Alexander was no exception.

His house was burning down and his mom and dad were killed in front of him. He was about to be killed himself but by that time he already had his first summon. It was a small and frail dog. His family was quite poor so they didn't have much to feed the dog or alexander but they did their best.

Right as alexander was about to be killed he had to sacrifice his dog to save his life. His dog was his only true friend. He was the only person that didn't judge him or didn't take from him. Every day they would look for food in the trash cans wondering when their next meal would be their last.

Alexander stared in horror as his best friend was stabbed and cut to pieces. In tears thankful for the few seconds it bought him Alexander slipped through one of the burning portions of the building with a hole in it. As soon as Alexander left the building he ran. He ran until his feel bled and his knees gave out. He found himself on the edge of town overlooking the burning houses. Alexander cried as hard as he could vowing he would never cry from sorrow again.

He could hear the families screaming with little to no one escaping. He saw people being killed left and right. Alexander cried more and more as he could feel his life coming to an end. He couldn't run any further and he had no one to look after him. Alexander crawled as far away from the fighting as possible leaving a streak of blood through the green grass.

After a while someone came to make sure no one escaped and saw the trail of blood. He followed the tail of blood till he came across an unconscious child with green hair. He felt guilty and started to cry. He knew that the war the adults where waging where harming children but he did not approve of it. The man fell to his knees weeping. He had a core ability similar to Alexander with the fact he had a summon. He called over a Night Hawk which specialized in stealth and recon.

He told the bird to pick up the child and take him down to the town Bill which was north of there and was somewhere that wasn't going to be attacked and to drop him in the center of town. The bird picked up Alexander sinking his claws into him. Alexander awoke from the shock, screaming in fear. The bird took flight bolting through the air, the higher the bird got the colder the air got. Alexander passed out from the cold only to awake a second later from falling.

Alexander looked down at the quickly approaching ground and continued to cry. He didn't want to die, not like this. a strong gust of wind shot him sideways saving his life. He hit the ground hard and started to roll. All four of his limbs where broken. He cried thinking he was going to die in a pathetic way after giving up so much to live.

He laid there in a puddle of his own feces, blood, and tears. He looked around at the approaching shadows. It was nighttime when the raid started and unfortunately it was still nighttime. Alexander was shivering not just from the cold but from the complete fear and isolation that he felt. He didn't know what to do or how to act. An old woman approached him and somehow healed the boy. He still smelled of bodily fluids but the old woman didn't seem to mind. She dusted him off and helped him to his feet.

"Hi young man. You can call me grandma" The old woman said while giving him a hug.

Suspicious of the old woman he yelled out to sound strong " I am not afraid! Don't try to attack me i will defend myself!"

The old woman looked at him with pity. " Your not the only one from the sky you know." Alexander looked at her not knowing what to do." These wars have killed more than you can imagine. I'm here to take you in, I run an orphanage to take care of lost children like yourself." She gently picked up the young boy and carried him to what looked like a large but run down building.

As soon as she opened the door they where greeted with a bunch of beds with sleeping kids on them. Alexander felt overwhelmed and cried once more. " My mom and dad are dead. what did i do wrong?" Alexander couldn't make heads or tails of the situation. He wanted to run but he also wanted to sleep.

The old woman who referred to herself as grandma spoke again. " Child I'm here for you and i always will be. I may be about to die but i will definitely take care of you till then. For now lets take you to the bath." Grandma set him down and let him walk with her to the bathroom. He was scared and shivering as he walked. He hated being so weak that he had to be scared of others. He wanted to be a king unable to be harmed or taken advantage of. He wanted his family back.

When they where attacked he was in the middle of listening to a story that his mom was reading to him. As she was finishing the book the door burst open and many men with swords entered. His parents tried to fend them off but to know avail.

He looked at the old woman and asked. " Can you read me a story to bed? Please."

"Of course i can young man." The old woman helped the young boy into the bath. The small child cried non stop as the warm water was washing his sorrows away. Grandma washed off all of the blood on him to help him get clean.

Once they where done They headed back to the beds. Alexander was offered food but he declined. as they walked in to the sleeping area a girl was standing there. " Hey grandma who is he?"

She looked at the you girl and hugged her. "This young boy has just lost his parents as well. please introduce yourself to him."

The girl looked at the boy before her and said proudly. " My name is Lila it's nice to meet you." Alexander looked at the girl before him who looked malnourished much like himself. He felt a familiarity with her but paid it no heed.

Alexander looked at this young women before him. She had bright pink hair that stood out like a soar thumb. she was taller than him by a significant margin. He was scared to answer but refused to show weakness. " My name is Alexander. I don't have anymore friends, will you be my friend?"

Lila looked at him and smiled. she sat down on the nearest empty bed. " Alexander will you go sit by her. I will allow a special exception tonight and you two can sleep together." Alexander was teary eyed still shivering. Lila tried to comfort him with a hug to no avail.

The grandma then began the story after they laid down. " There once was an evil man that attacked a house. He thought that if he could kick the original people out then that house would belong to him. He hurt everyone in the house including the little kids. The parents did their best and barely managed to kick him out. The parents came up with a plan. They made a sword so powerful that anyone who ever entered the house without permission would be instantly put to sleep.

And after they finished the sword..." She looked over and the two were already passed out. Alexander was still crying a little bit but that couldn't be helped. The laughed quietly. " I'm sorry child but it appears this body of mine won't last much longer. I will help you grow the best i can till then, after that you will have to find you own way."

The grandma then went to a separate room and fell asleep. The room was quite with the only person making noise being Alexander and his whimpering. He was too young yet he was already set on his path throughout the world. He was going to someone extremely important for fates whims and humors.
