Chin-hwa finally got to his dorm and he threw himself on his bed, sighing loudly.
"I'm finally alone." He said and hugged his big plushie pillow. "Staying with Byul made me so cautious but..." He recalled how he lost himself and smiled without knowing. His cheeks flushed. "I didn't hate it. Feeling that way again, I mean."
Kang-woo got him a little hangover drink on their way to a breakfast joint while smiling and telling him how essentially it was to stay hydrated the morning after drinking so much, or else he would get a serious headache.
Even if he wanted to hate him, Kang-woo kept doing things that made it hard to hate him. He could decide to keep his distance but Kang-woo would definitely not abide by that plan.
So, whatever he did, Kang-woo would still come back to bother him and his heart.
*Knock knock* the knock on his door got him rising from his bed. He wondered who it was.
In this dorm room, he did not have a roommate and though it was very common for others to have roommates, Chin-hwa decided he wanted to live alone and not share a room with any other person, even if it was an omega.
After all, the one person whom he wanted to be roommates with left him.
'If he seriously asks me to be roommates, should I decline again?' Chin-hwa asked himself as he headed for the door. 'No, I shouldn't. My feelings for him would never disappear otherwise.'
(Either way, it's not going to disappear, my sweet boy.)
"Who is it?" Chin-hwa asked, opening the door and letting the door chains hold onto the door and letting it open just a little bit.
"It's me," He heard Yun-Tae's voice and gasped.
"Yun-Tae? Um, hold on a sec." He closed the door, removed the door chain, and opened the door fully. "What are you doing here? You've never visited me in my dorm."
"Oh, well," Yun-Tae walked in, glancing around. "It was much more fun inviting you over, haha. Can I sit?"
"Oh, yeah, sure." Chin-hwa answered, pointing at the chair of his study table. "Make yourself comfortable."
"Thanks,"
But Yun-Tae did not sit on the chair, he dropped on the bed, his back lying flat.
"Your bed is so soft." He complimented, smiling brightly.
"Yeah, it is." Chin-hwa decided to sit on the chair instead.
As far as he was concerned, he was close with Yun-Tae but just as he did with the rest, he always made sure to put boundaries. He did not reveal his secrets to them and did not bring up stories of his family unless necessary, and when he did, it was just minimal information.
They noticed it and felt he was being conservative but they did not mind. So long as he was being honest with them and didn't talk behind their backs, they were cool with him.
So what if he had secrets? Everyone did.
"Did you want to speak with me about something?" Chin-hwa asked, dropping his hands on his tightly closed thighs, composed.
"Well, have you started your project assignment? I've been going around that thing for hours." He sighed in exhaustion. "Professor Dooshik really had it out for us when he dropped this bomb in our last class."
"Yeah, tell me about it." Chin-hwa lightly chuckled. "I'm yet to open my laptop so if you're here to ask me about it, I'm at a dead end too, haha."
Yun-Tae observed Chin-hwa and Chin-hwa, who noticed this, finally asked,
"But something tells me you didn't come here for the sole reason of asking about the assignment." He said. "Did you want to talk about something else? Something important?"
"Um, yeah, you got me." Yun-Tae scratched the back of his head and his face slightly flushed. "You see, something's been on my mind the whole time after last night."
Ba-dum.
"What... What about last night?" Chin-hwa asked, his pores suddenly getting sweaty as he got this inkling feeling that this was about Kang-woo.
He may not have remembered much after waking up this morning, but he did remember when they were in the karaoke, how Yun-Tae smiled so sweetly while talking with Kang-woo.
He did not want to disturb himself with matters like that but it wasn't easy to ignore either. He kept wondering what they were talking about and why Kang-woo was laughing and smiling with Yun-Tae while he was right in front of him... But as it stood, he did not own Kang-woo, and whatever Kang-woo wanted to do, with whomever, it did not concern him.
"Well, you see," Yun-Tae slowly dragged his words shyly and showed his soft omega charms. "Can you be honest with me?"
"Sure," Chin-hwa said but he knew he wouldn't be honest anyway. He could never be honest if it involved Kang-woo. 'So, is he going to ask me about our relationship? Is he going to ask so he can take his chances? I'll have to answer calmly. Byul and I don't have any intimate relationship and I hold no feelings for him. Yes, that's what I'll say...'
He rehearsed his already thought-out response in his head, but when the question was asked, as he feared, he froze up.
"Are you and Kang-woo-ssi, dating?" Yun-Tae asked, his flush evidently gratifying the omega softness in his face, and the way he softly bit his lips told Chin-hwa he had already fallen deep for Kang-woo.
'What made you fall for him?' Chin-hwa's thoughts played. No, this was the time to respond like he rehearsed but he couldn't. He was stuck in his thoughts, trying to ask questions that would never escape his lips. 'Is it because he's handsome? Is it because he's a dominant Alpha? Was your second gender drawn to him? Why did you fall for him? Why?'
Yun-Tae wondered what was taking Chin-hwa so long to respond, and then he noticed Chin-hwa lost his thoughts.
"Ah, Hwa, are you okay?" He asked, breaking Chin-hwa out of his train of thought.
"Oh, sorry. I..." He nervously brushed the back of his neck. "It seems I'm still a bit tipsy. I drank some hangover drinks so it'll be alright soon." He blamed it on that and thankfully, Yun-Tae was as gullible as he was.
"In that case, I hope you rest well." Yun-Tae said, sounding genuinely concerned. "We must've made you drink quite a lot, huh?"
"Well, it's nothing." Chin-hwa laughed it off. "Now, concerning what you asked. Kang-woo and I..." He gulped and forced out a 'genuine' smile. "We don't have that kind of relationship."
