"I hate you…!" Tyra exclaimed as she left the room in a bad mood shutting the already automatic door, banging it out of anger.
"Why are women so full of hatred…?" Morgan sighed in frustration.
At the chief's office, stood a young man facing the chief, as the Chief silently observed this man, the young man had an indifferent expression like he didn't care what the chief was saying.
On leaving the office, The young man came face to face with Tyra who seemed to be exhausted after her punishment. on her way to report, she bumped into the young man earlier to her surprise.
The young man walked past her without looking back. About to go after him, she suddenly fell into a daze. Her surroundings turned completely dark with fragments of little lights that resemble stars.
In space, she stood before about three hundred space battleships, one bearing the logo of the Elynium but the other unknown.
Little did anyone know that she possesses an extraordinary intuition that allows her to sense ripples in time, and can see both the future and alternate present, as long as it involves her.
Seeing the battle ahead, she was of course frightened to the extent of clenching her hand on her chest, as she watched her comrades die one by one before her eyes and being unable to do anything made her feel even more suffocated, luckily for her no one was around.
Her vision had always been what gave her joy, but sometimes the things she sees makes her wish she never had them in the first place.
Opening her eyes, surprisingly, she found herself in her room at the headquarters.
"What, who…?"
"You're awake…" Morgan's voice resounded in the room making Tyra almost jump from her bed in a fright.
"Did you bring me back…?"
Tyra, who thought there was no one around, felt a little embarrassed by the turn of events.
"You had a heart attack…?"
It was more like a statement than a question.
"Why did you say that…?" She stammered.
"Your heart stopped beating for thirty minutes…" Tyra, who knows this, just laughed trying to change the topic.
"Haha…,That was funny Morgan…where did you learn to joke like that…" Morgan just sighed.
"I'll be going on another mission soon…"
"Okay take care…"
"Don't you want to know the mission…?" Morgan asked, staring at Tyra with a judging gaze..
"Oh…what is it…?"
"I want to find Antimatter Reactors…"
Tyra immediately choked. "I believe you were asked to find something called A Quantum Crystal…" Morgan, expecting her reaction, handed her already prepared water.
"How did you lose it, you know full well The Elynium utilizes Quantum Crystals to power the Temporal Pods, ensuring they run efficiently without causing harmful emissions or exhausting natural resources, how long do you think they government will continue to fund us especially as we require billions, if they continue to funds the organization, in not time everyone will face economy depression.
and to top it off, These crystals also serve as a form of temporal stabilizer, helping to keep the time streams steady during travel…"
"I'm sorry, okay…!" Tyra yelled
"I know I made a mistake but can everyone please stop judging me, do you have any Idea how scared I was on that mission, I didn't even know what I was fighting against, the whole place was pitch black, I felt scared… and someone else was with me, I wouldn't have minded if it was only me, but the thought of my teammates dying because I couldn't do anything…" She said in a choked voice.
"It's okay Tyra, I'm not judging you, I know what you've been through…but sometimes you need to think more careful, The Antimatter Reactors is just a substitution for the Quantum Crystal, we'll make sure to get it next time" He gently patted her head before walking out.
Left alone in the quiet room, Tyra's thought's wandered back to the vision she had. She could feel that it was not just a ripple effect, but that time was off balance, like a stream of water overflowing in space.
"What caused this…?"
"In the future, alternate present clashes…why…?"
Wearing herself out, she slowly fell asleep as she couldn't keep her eyes open for any longer.
"Tyra…run…! Don't come here…! Go and report to the chief….! If you leave there is still hope…!"
"You can't die here…please go…" This voice kept echoing in Tyra's memories as she curves from pain on her bed.
Opening her eyes, she pants heavily as she notices the tears falling from her chin into her covers.
"This nightmares again…every night it don't want to leave me alone…" Rushing off the bed to dipped her head in cold water as the test seemed to fall on their own will.
"Ariel…I miss you" she suddenly busted into tears clenching her fist and punching the wall, not even realizing how long and how bloody her hand looked or rather she ignored it.
