Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Six Demon Dukes

As the news of defeat of all the allied kingdoms still echoed every corner of the continent, an even more shocking peace of news started going around.

It said that in Negia, a kingdom almost on par with Sosaphrica, six demons dawning clothes different from the ones seen before suddenly appeared in the sky with what seemed to be large bat wings spreading from their backs, curved horns like those of a goat and a long pointy tale, their eyes fiery red making the other demons seem like tame kids, though one demon appeared different from the rest of the demons.

They then swoop down and started massacring everyone they encountered be it, soldier, commoner or royalty, within eight hours they had killed everyone around them, leaving mountains of corpses in their wake and nobody could stand up to them, or even injure their seemingly delicate skin.

Everyone else in the kingdom who was far enough from them fled the kingdom heading as far away as they could. No one in the royal family managed to escape, along with all the soldiers and civilians in the capital.

Later on it was found out that these six greater-demons were the dukes of all the demons and were known as the seven deadly sins in the demon army.

The sin of Pride, Kane whose power was to enlarge his body into a seemingly invincible giant that only needed to swipe its hands to turn anyone who it touches into a bloody mist. It's said his body inflates as a consequence of his large ego....as for whether it's true, only he knows.

The sin of Gluttony, Bane...Kane's twin brother who is the quickest of all the demon dukes. After killing his opponents his mouth turns to what seems like a black hole and all the bodies are consumed into his seemingly bottomless stomach that never even bulges even after devouring hundreds. It's said his main reason for fighting is to satisfy his large appetite.

The sin of Greed, Zom who is a necromancer who turns his opponents into his personal zombies. It's said no matter how many zombies he gets he always wants more and is never satisfied despite already having more than ten thousand of zombies in his possession which he can summon at any time to fight for him.

The sin of Sloth, Eve whose power is the most bizarre, she is seemingly always asleep just floating in mid air. Whenever she opens her eyes everything around her dies, be it friend or foe, because of this she is a duke without an army and even the other dukes keep a distance from her whenever it's time to act. Oddly, unlike the other demon dukes or demons in general she does not look very malevolent as she isn't too pale, might have pointy ears but they aren't too long, has no bat wings or tail but just floats around like a weightless feather. She also never opens her eyes when there are civilians around. Rumours say that she might not be a demon at all.

The sin of Envy, Judah whose ability is gaining access to the abilities of those who he has personally killed and consumed their souls, because he is a greater-demon the abilities are boosted making them absurdly stronger. He's known as the snake of the demon army. It's said that if he likes your abilities he will target you three times I'm an attempt to acquire your them, but if you survive those three times he'll live you alone.

The sin of Lust, Minerva who's ability is to brainwash men into doing whatever she wants with her ability to rile up their sex drive. Turning them into her slaves that would do anything for her. This makes her quite a formidable asset in war considering it is mostly made up of pent up men who have not been around women for a while and do not have the freedom to "free" themselves. It is said that if you manage to completely shrug off her ability, she will make you her groom, whether it's true or not is unknown, but no one has been able to do it so far.

Then there's the sin of Wrath, name unknown, location unknown, strength unknown but is rumoured to be by far the strongest of the sins despite being such an elusive figure.
